First I'd like to say that Zappos' customer service is amazing! Now, as far as the shoes, I do like them, they run 1/2 inch bigger so order accordingly. For me there was some break in needed but after that they feel great, definitely comfortable.

Second pair of Keen I have owned. First is a steel toed boot. These are good for working around the house and at the office. I have a standing desk on concrete, and Keens have worked well for me.

This work shoe is great for where I work. Much cooler and lighter than my regular work boots. I ordered 1/2 size bigger, fit great with my work socks.

I have 3E wide feet, and 10half/11. I ordered 11's and they fit pretty well,both ways. I like the shoes for walking, I was surprised they weigh so much, seem well built, the speed laces are not elastic, and stay tight while doing moderate activity, which is as fast as I go.

These are very nice shoes. A much better fit than any other Keen shoes I have tried on. They are still a little bit warm, and maybe a little heavier than I expected, but the support and comfort they provide are worth every penny.

While the overall fit and style are great, I am convinced that I received a defective right shoe. The left shoe is perfectly comfortable whereas the right shoe's inner stitching was noticeable within 5 seconds of trying it on. Inspected it and could not see any obvious cause, so I wore it for an hour to see if it would break in only to have significant irritation on back of my foot above the heel. I will be exchanging them for the same model & size because I really want them to work. I can only hope that the QC is better this time around. I will write another (hopefully positive) review once I receive the replacements.

I had to get steel toed, waterproof shoes or boots for work. Zappos said these are waterproof, as did some other sites, some sites said no. Keen's website wasn't helpful, so I decided to trust Zappos on this. They're not waterproof. I haven't returned them for an exchange because truthfully I didn't want waterproof shoes because since I'm on my feet all day, my feet sweat. WPB shoes make it worse. Otherwise, these are alright. They're Keens, so if you like their way of making shoes, you'll like these.

Really durable shoes! They made me a huge Keen fan. Steel toe makes the shoe more narrow even in a wide size. I can't wear them all the time because of a callous on my toe. They are made exactly as described, a utility shoe.

Very comfortable, and nice looking. Keen always makes a good product. I have wide feet, and finding a wide, comfortable shoe is difficult.

This will be my second pair of these shoes. So far they have probably been the most comfortable steel toe shoe I have worn in about 7 years. They are mesh and have good breathability. I have seen reviews about them being waterproof, they are not. They feel true to size. The lace system is a little different. The first pair got well worn and loose after several months but the laces never broke, they did separate from the core though. Nothing on the shoe ever separated and the insoles held up but did wear out. Overall an excellent shoe, comfortable, a bit pricey, I think a good amount is for the name, but a very good work shoe.

Liked the shoe, just too narrow through arch/mid. A wide would have the heel too large. Getting ready to return and order another style of Keens.

I do not normally spend this kind of money on low top steel toed shoes, but I am tired of spending less and having to stuff gel inserts into shoes to make them comfortable. These were comfortable and had enough arch support right out of the box.

My employer asked me to get safety shoes on short notice. I need to wear them in a factory, but also in customer meetings. They keep my feet cooler than full leather safety boots, but they don't look as good in meetings. They're just a little too casual. I wear a size 14.5 shoe, but the closest I could get was 14.0. Like expected, they're a little too snug. They're easy to slip on and off.

Good shoe needed an insole to make it wearable. As it came after a day I felt like I was walking on pins and needles.

I purchased these for my fiancee, he is on his feet 10 hours a day 6 days a week on concrete and has falling arches. He loves the steel toe shoes, and says they are very comfortable. He wears them all of the time when we go hiking, running errands and while doing yardwork. He hasn't needed to put inserts into these Keens for his arches and he's very excited about it.

A little heavy than you would expect. It would be better with a composite safety toe. Now the positive feels great much cooler than my boots. Great for work in tropical work sites. The rubber toe guard works well, as does lacing system. Time will tell how they hold up.

Had these shoes for a month. This is the first time I've spent this much on a pair of work shoes and they seem to be worth every penny. I'm in the HVAC trade so these shoes get put through the wringer. Climbing through attics, up and down ladders, and out in the elements. Me feet feel great and stay dry and they are lighter than any steel toe I've used. I notice a little fraying around the straps already but otherwise they seem to be holding up well. I recommend them to my fellow technicians any chance I get!

Felt heavy

I was expecting more comfort.

I thought the shoe was a good design, stylish, and comfortable but the lacing system is a bit of a mystery and loosens causing the fit to change rapidly throughout a solid work day. having to readjust the fit multiple times makes me not want to wear them and just get shoes with either a slide on no lacing system or standard lacing.

Roomier in the top of the shoe than I needed. The toggle design used to tighten the laces needs to be improved, the laces loosen with movement of the foot.

They don’t ask u how A show fits on the top of the foot. These would probably be great it u have flat feet and order a size larger. I have to wear super thin socks and even then it hurt my feet

There is a weird amount of loose fabric inside the shoe over the toe that bunches up and is uncomfortable. This was in both shoes, so likely a design flaw not a manufacturing defect. They had to go back unfortunately.
