Lacing system took me some time to get used to; can't really tighten down like you can on a traditional laced shoe, then again, I have to admit I don't seem to need to. Very comfortable, doesn't feel like your wearing a steel toed shoe. I'm on my feet 9 plus hours a day delivering parcels. If I wear them out, I will buy again.

Have been looking for a light-weight steel toe shoe. This Keen fits the bill! I have worn these for five weeks and they are awesome. Great weight, comfort and toe space. I do like the non-tie lace system but it does take a little getting use to it. Overall, a great shoe for the money!

Let me start off by saying that I love these shoes! I work on helicopters for a living and spend the majority of my day on a concrete flight line. These shoes keep my feet nice and cool and are water resistant. I plan on buying another pair for next summer. The only downfall is that the sole is completely worn out in about 4 months, but I wear them non-stop!

I've had the shoes for about a month now and am so far highly satisfied. They fit exactly as expected, are very comfortable, and stay cool.

These are the best safety shoes I own. I have 4 pairs of steel toes and by far these are the best for the summer months. I work in the south and warehouses get super hot and with these on they allow for way better venting compared to my wellingtons, mid-ankle boots, and slip on steel toes. The break in period was super quick but make sure you wear ankle socks. I wore no shows for the first week and the back part of the shoe rubbed my achilles tendon area raw. Overall these are a great investment and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a great venting steel toe.

My husband works for a major delivery company and is on his feet a lot. He loves these shoes and they meet the company safety requirements. His first pair...won't be the last.

One of the most comfortable pairs of steel toe shoes I ever purchased. I'm always on my knees doing masonry work and I always wear the tip out of my work boot dragging them across pavers or concrete. With the rubber toes on these shoes they have been great.

Extremely comfortable safety toe shoe. I have a wide foot in the toe area from breaking a metatarsal. I tried on so many pairs of safety toe shoes my husband thought it was impossible to find a shoe to fit me. Well mission impossible accomplished! These shoes are fantastic! I even wear them on the weekends walking out & about!

These shoes are very nice. Very cool in the summer. There is very little padding, but after wearing them for a while I didn't notice. The steel toe is extremely heavy and cumbersome. These shoes would benefit from a composite toe.

Pro: I found these Keens to be a great outdoor work shoe/boot with plenty of support and a steel toe (I own a ranch and have to dodge livestock stepping on my feet at times). The foot opening is very snug and I can force my foot in without a shoe horn and it will stay without slippage. BTW I don't like to wear sox. These shoe insoles can be removed and washed as can the entire shoe using a water hose outside. They dry quickly. I have now ordered another pair with carbon fiber toe caps to reduce walking weight. The steel toe are noticeably heavy.
Con: The tongue of each shoe has a heat-applied label stating the shoe size. It caused a terrible instep allergy reaction with itching and skin irritation when I tried to wear it without sox. I was forced to peel the label out of both shoes and the problem disappeared. Be advised.

I Shouldn't have gotten the wide because it is very wide. The draw string is super long. Besides that, it's a very good, comfortable shoe and water proof!

Normally, I wear composite toe shoes. For steel tip shoes couldn't tell the difference. Very roomie. Not too good in the rain.

The fit of the shoe seems pretty good, but they are squeaking when I walk on the floor which is tile. I is kindof driving me crazy and since today is the first day of wearing them, I sure hope this does not continue throughout the life of the shoe.

Lasted roughly a year wearing them in a cold-storage warehouse. Some of the sole started to come apart on the bottom but it was the inside lining along the steel toe that made me decide they had to be tossed. For the cost, durability, and comfort, I’d buy again.

Waited a good 2 months before writing this. At first, I found these very uncomfortable. Keens usually don't need to be broken in, so I was concerned. It took about 3 weeks, but now they are very comfortable. Breathe much better than my old Keen safety boots.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable and great in an 8 hour, on your feet all day, work week. The laces are the only downside. They stretch out and break easily.

I have now worn through my third pair of these. It takes about nine months to a year and overall I am very pleased with them. They are lightweight, provide good traction, generally water resistant. I seem to wear out the laces and the little loops the laces go through rather quickly - I do not know why they wear there. I wish the insoles were a bit tougher. I am on my feet all day, putting multiple miles behind me, mostly on concrete and I am very satisfied with how these shoes wear and how my feet and legs feel at the end of the day. Overall, of all the different work boots and shoes that I have owned this is the style that I keep returning to. I have just purchased a different style Keen Utility shoe as a replacement - I will see how they work out.

As a residential electrician it shows people great respect to take your shoes off when asked. As I do the same in my own this is the perfect shoe for the job. With this I have 3 types of work boots. The Mud, rain steel toe. The winter insulated non-steel toe. Then these beauties, light, good air flow and hardly feel like a steel toe. I am worried about the durability of the cinch clasp but otherwise am satisfied with the purchase.

Solid shoe! My first steel toe and it fits like a glove. The only problem I had is that it seriously rubs my Achilles tendon, fixed it easy enough with a gel heel insert.

I bought these to replace my Red Wing 2206 boots. I'm on my feet on concrete 10+ hours/day. The Keens are comfortable, but not as comfortable as the Red Wings, but are much lighter, leading to less fatigue by the end of the week. The biggest complaint I have with the Keens is their traction. My Red Wings were much more slip resistant. Overall it is a good shoe, but not as good as the Red Wing 2206. The Keen is also much cheaper than the Red Wings.

I have 4 pairs of Sam Edelman shoes, and love all of them. This is no exception. The "Gilda" is comfortable and easy wear with a lot of outfits. Dressed up or down.
