Large toe box is great. Hook and loop straps aren't long enough for my wide feet, and should be wider. The collar and tongue, though well padded, was uncomfortable for me. A good value if they fit your feet.

The toe box was too tight. Generally like this brand. Disappointed.

Very sturdy shoe, felt narrow for a medium, could not fit my large orthtic very well. Stiff magerial. The new shipping box is very very hard to open. Tab did not work at all. I already wrote a review on this return and you keep asking for more.

Wanted to like these however I could hardly get my foot in them compared to another brand but same size that fits perfectly. The Velcro straps makes it easier for me and others that have a hard time with laces but I could barely get the strap across the top of the sneaker to attach it. They went back.

These shoes were for my sister suffering from RA. Her hands and feet are severely deformed due to the RA. She needs a very deep tie box and these New Balance weren't quite deep enough. The Hook & Loop design is perfect but again my sister has very special needs and her issues in footwear are unique. She may try mens sizing.

Right heel kept slipping off.

Mom said they hurt her feet after she said she liked them. What can I expect foe a 92 year old! She wore them for 15 minutes for physical therapy on a carpeted surface.

Material was more like plastic. The top of the foot chafed where the instep was. There were internal parts near the top ball of the foot that rubbed. Overall did not breathe as I thought it would. Overall very uncomfortable.

For nearly a decade have worn these shoes from New Balance no problems. I believe NB changed the last and quality. previously was DSL-2. Now can only find SL-1 and these are SL-2. Just not fitting the same. Also Velcro not sticking on any of shoes purchased. Something is different so disappointing

These felt very solid but the tongue came up too high on my ankle.

Tongues too thick and straps couldn't close.

The upper Velcro band is too short and too high on the tongue, which makes it cut into my ankle.

One foot felt smaller, length and width.

Fit is good but shoe is heavy. I had a pair od walkers one other time, for China tour, and my feet got fatigued. I am going to stick with memory. I love that these come in wide.

I ordered these for my mom to help with getting dressed more easily. She liked the look of the shoes but they run short and narrow;, my moms feet are wide and she usually wears an 8 W but in this shoe the 8W was exchanged for an 8 1/2 WW which still was too tight when her feet would swell. Ultimately you ended up returning the 8 1/2 WW and choosing another option.

The fit and size of the shoes were OK. I struggled with the tongue, which kept slipping down and folding under at the bottom, where it is sewn on. I wore these shoes only for the period of recuperation from knee surgery, when I needed non-slip shoes. They were more comfortable than the comparable Brooks style, but I wished I'd bought the Brooks shoes; in the longer term, I was irritated by the need to adjust the tongue of the shoe every 5 minutes. I have 4 other pairs of New Balance shoes (sneakers), which I love. I think this was simply a rare shoe design problem on the part of New Balance.
