Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

I now have worn these for about one month. Always indoors. Initially I thought they were just fine. Now, I discovered the tongue is too high for comfort. I have bruises on my ankles where the tongue rubs my foot. I thought about cutting the tongue back, but decided to try turning the tongue backwards. Hopefully this will eliminate the discomfort. I would return these, but unfortunately, I have worn them for a month. I have a narrow heel and a high arch. I purchased a 9M. No, I would not buy this style again.

Easy to get on. Works with my different width feet. I have two different widths due to an injury. I can adjust each shoe to fit.

I love these shoes. Fit properly, great for walking, just plain comfortable.

I bought the 577 shoe and it is very uncomfortable. I bought New Balance for several years because of the different widths. I need a narrow shoe and not many companies do narrow shoes. A couple of years ago I noticed New Balance wasn't the same shoe I was used to. It was little shorter and the seams rubbed blisters on my feet. I decided to try another brand of shoe. Those shoes were great but now that company doesn't not make narrow shoes anymore, so I'm back to New Balance and I hate them. This is the last pair I will purchase. I used to think New Balance was the only shoe there was but no more. New Balance is like all the other companies comfort and quality doesn't matter anymore.

A well-built, sturdy walking shoe. The Velcro strap makes fitting and closure a breeze. I like the shoes so much that I've purchased two more pairs.

This shoe was recommended by a medical professional for me because of problems with my feet and back from birth. I was pleased to find you now offer this shoe in white as well as black, so this time I bought two pair. I enjoy outdoor activities, especially birdwatching. I walk 3 to 5 miles a day. Thank you for a great shoe that keeps me going!

This was the first time I had used a "hook and loop" They were too tight and would not hold...

I have a stroke and aneurysm, but the white and the black sneakers "zip-strips" are spot on !!

The straps are so short that you cannot close the Velcro if you have Sox on. I returned them

These are my everyday sneaker, worn mostly indoors. They fit good BUT they squeak as you walk, very annoying Hook and Loop is not long enough

Once a year, I buy a new pair of shoes from New Balance. I was glad to see that I could get the model with the velco straps. I was not available when I went to the summer sale last year on Oxford, ME

Velco strong but runs a little small. Generally a good walking sneaker

I wear them everyday, and they are so comfortable, I have M.S. and these are the only sneaker that doesn't hurt my feet especially when I am on my feet all day.

The top hook & loop strap is too high up. The whole strap and connectors need to be lowered slightly as does the tongue.

These walking tennis shoes look good. I originally purchased this shoe in my regular shoe size based on reviews but it was short and narrow so I returned them and brought a larger size. I've NEVER had to buy a wide width before. The new size fits well and has a nice arch. They are attractive and seem to be of good quality.

I purchased this to wear around the house. I have tile and hardwood floors. This shoe provides the cushion I need to walk and stand for extended periods. With the hook and loop closure, I can remove them quickly to put on my outside shoes. The toe area is roomy. I have a high arch and a narrow heel. I purchased a 9 M. the fit is true-to size.

Have been wearing these Women's Hook and Loop 577 for many years now. They are very comfortable walking shoe and were easy to take off and put on when I went through airport security. I no longer am required to take off my shoes at airport security.

I am not a runner. I am a walker. The shoes are extremely comfortable and the laces can be adjusted when my feet start to swell in the late afternoon. they look good too.

This pair or shoes has been Awesome! I got in an extra wide and 2 sizes larger so I could wear my leg brace with them! Due to a stroke my left side is paralyzed. I can actually put these on & off by myself! I wish they came in grey!
