Older female - shoes required ability to use orthotics - fit perfectly - wonderful support

I bought these in black and wore them the very first time comfortably fit over six hours! Do I went back online and ordered a pair in white. Same thing- I was able to wear them all day right out of the box! Very comfortable!

There is not much worse where shoes are concerned when your shoes squeak. I walk around a quiet environment regularly and at first I thought the squeak would go away after I broke them in a little but after wearing them about 15 times it only gets worse. Too late to return. These shoes were not inexpensive. I wanted to buy another pair in white if I was satisfied with them but that is not an option now.

The shoes were great looking and well constructed, but did not have enough room for my toes, because they hurt when I tried to walk with them on carpets. So I had to return them.

Really like the shoe and I'm keeping it, but hope the straps stretch a little. I have really high arches and the straps are a little tight

I use this product for work my feet arent sore after 12 hr shifts

I walk 3-4 miles per day, so I go through my walking shoes quickly. New Balance is my go-to brand for a great fit and a durable shoe. This model gave me a great fit right out of the box, and I'm a hard to fit narrow size. It is well padded and sper-comfortable.

This is my 4th pair of new balance and they are still the same high quality as in the past. I gave tried three other brands and always come back to new balance.

People...If you ordered the wrong shoe or shoe size please don't leave negative reviews! it's not the shoes fault that you made a mistake. You give people the wrong impression, you're suppose to review the fit, the performance the make and customer care. With that said here's my review....You may need a larger size in these shoes, I wear an 8 but ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfect. I have horrible arthritis and tendinitis and these are the ONLY shoes I can wear that eases my pain so much I can now walk through a store again. The Velcro straps are a bit short and maybe will stretch out with wear but I will deal with it for a great pair of shoes like these.

These shoes are incredible. I love the color and my feel are extra wide and they fit perfectly. They are a bit bigger without socks so if you I aren't wearing them with socks maybes get a size smaller. But I am wearing them with socks so they fit great. Would 10/10 recommend. Also they came a day earlier than expected.

I have only worn this sneaker four times so far, but they are comfortable. The only issue I have is that I purchased an 8 wide, and I think I should have gone with an 8 regular, but that's on me! I chose not to exchange them in case the 8 regular wouldn't have been wide enough! I power walk about one hour each day, and the only thing I find is that sometimes when I walk, the road/sidewalk scrapes the top of the sneaker. Not sure if this is because of the sneaker being a bit too wide and my foot not filled out completely, and/or the way I am walking in them! It is a solid sneaker which is what I was looking for, although it is not very fashionable! However, for me comfort is priority. I would recommend for comfort vs. looks!

I purchased this shoe for my cousin who is an active 75 year old woman living in assisted living. She found the shoe to be very comfortable for her needs, "not to stiff and lighter in weight" than other shoes she has worn.

I have another pair of the 577s bought previously which I love. This is why I purchased the new pair. I like to rotate shoes for my daily 3 mile walk. This new pair is giving me a bit of friction irritation which is coming on top of the toes from the tongue edge. The older pair does not do this. Because I rotate among 3 pairs of NB (3rd is different model), I can cope. Hoping it corrects? Friction irritation is reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise rest is OK.

These are the only shoes my feet will tolerate. I have MS and they are very comfortable and I can walk very well in them.

I can wear a 6.5, ordered a 7. Very tight. Can't wear.

When I was looking for a good 'walking' shoes (at my local store), this 577 was my second choice. Ultimately I chose 840v2 for walking purpose because they fit better for me -roomier toe box, more stability due to wider outer sole, etc- BUT this 577 was close second. 577 fit more snug and somewhat feels less bulkier than 840v2. So I bought these for everyday errand shoes. A little bit too high on the side and dig into my ankle bone -my R foot is fine but L foot is a tad smaller than R so maybe one size down would make a difference but then my R foot would be too tight- I don't have this issue with 840v2- probably it will go away as I keep wearing. I've only wore these for a couple of hours at this point. Anyway, this is also a well made shoes and great from the price point.

Thought these were the same one but they are not. I work in a hospital and am needing same shoe I know works.

Too narrow ............................had to return ......

I am a senior and have a bad foot. This shoe makes it possible for me to walk and keep my balance. I have been wearing for over 15 years. It is easy for me to fasten and unfasten. Thank you New Balance for making this type of shoe.

I have drop foot and have an insert and wear a dorsi-strap. The shoe accommodates both exceptionally well and gives me the support I need.

The shoe fit is good, but the tongue is too stiff and causes blisters. If the tongue had padding it would be tolerable.

Can't even give this item a rating because it was returned since BOTH of the shoes were defective. On right, the anchor of the bottom strap was sewn in a position that directed the strap in obliquely to the other side. On Left, the tongue was longer than on the right by at least 1/2 inch an looked ridiculous. Most disappointing purchase from New Balance ever.

I have had my pair of New Balance for 8 years and they are the reason that I can keep my balance and walk by myself. So when I needed to buy a new pair of course I turned to New Balance again. However, they have been redesigned; the strap closest to my foot is higher up on the shoe then my original pair and when I walk it cuts into my foot and I have had to wear it so loose that its not safe for me to walk and also the tops of the shoes are higher and the back has this V cut out and the higher top and V cut out cut into my ankle and foot. I have not returned them because the receipt with the shipping return label was accidentally thrown away and so I felt that I was helpless to to anything about my purchase. I hope that you can do something to help me get a pair like my old ones or to compensate my loss by return.
