Bought item for my 89 year old mother. Seemed to provide stability for walking. Easy to put on with Velcro straps. They run true to size. Leather is nice but shoe is a bit stiff and will need to be broken in.

Even though they were also new balance shoe they hugged the side of my feet well: also thet really are a pretty shoe. Thank you.

The fit was very good, which was a challenge because I wear a size 8AA. The shoes are very comfortable once the leather tops are broken in.

Went with 1/2 size larger.

These shoes were very ugly. The velcro tabs were sewn on crooked, The top velcro tab when I tried to close it only covered a little velcro and left the rest of the velcro exposed. Who wants to wear a pair of shoes when there is not enough leather to cover the velcro? This looked really stupid!! I am sending these back.

Love the shoe but my feet are so swollen I could not Velcro them

The fit is good enough for me to now have a pair of shoes that I can wear outdoors in the winter weather. I feel that I will never get a shoe wide enough or with an adequately deep toe. So I am satisfied with this shoe because it fits over my overlapping toe on left foot, but the shoe rubs that toe slightly after 2 hours of wearing. I am very satisfied with Zappos' quality, great range of styles and sizes. I was initially drawn to your website because of your free shipping and free return policy. I am 73 years old and immune compromised, so I don't go into retail stores. Being able to shop online, try on the shoes at home then either keep, or return at no cost. I'm sure this is not the first pair of shoes that I'll purchase!

Searching for velcro closure shoes for my mother. We first tried the SAS velcro as they seem to be the most highly-rated shoe. They fit well, but my mother felt the was too stiff, too high around the ankle. Being older, it's not like she's going to be doing a lot of walking to break them in. I returned those and tried these as a second alternative. She seems to be very happy with them right out of the box. The only slight issue I have is that the tongue seems almost too padded and could fit a little flatter. I'm guessing that might happen with wear. Overall my mom seems very happy. Of course I'm very happy with the ease and support of shopping at Zappos.

My wife is please with the size, fit, style and comfort.

These shoes are my "Sunday shoes". I've tried them on & seemed to fit ok; however, haven't actually worn them for any period of time, but I'm confident they will be ok. These are about my 5th or 6th pair of these shoes. I used to have to order 2 different sizes because I wore an orthotic on my left foot. Don't wear it anymore so got 1 pair of 1 size--much cheaper.

The shoe is not big enough or wide enough. After the holidays, I will be returning both pair. Since both pair don't feel wide enough and I ordered your widest width, I'm not sure that I'll reorder. The 2nd toe on my left foot overlaps the big toe, and I have bunions and hammertoes on both feet. I am thinking of ordering size 8.5 WW. At this point I have no shoes I can wear outdoors; crucial since I live in MA!

The material is a hard plastic, support was good, however, the sizing was not true. I’m a 12N. The width was spot on, the length wasn’t. Big toes were rubbing, had to return.

The hook & loop closure wouldn't reach so I couldn't close them.

I wanted a Velcro closure shoe and the brand I like is Ascic but they didn’t have any so I bought these. They were not comfortable at all and I would have returned them but since I wore them I can’t, I think. I guess I’ll just have to give them away.

Bought for my mother in law, who has only worn slippers for almost a year now. Her feet have swollen but she needs something to get around when it turns into winter. Bought half size longer than her feet and as wide as we could get. She thought they felt very heavy but worked perfectly for what we needed.

Fit & size was perfect. Very comfortable. This pair replaces a pair I had for a number of years. So happy to be able to get a WW width. You can always count on Zappos to fill your order promptly.

All was fine for length and width but the leather around the opening was extremely thick and inflexible which cut into top of my foot. I could hardly bear to walk across the room.

The total size and fit of my shoes were great - only problem was the length of the tab on the hook and loop closure were TOO SHORT. So much of the closure material on the bottom NOT covered by the tab which caused my shoes to catch pant material, sofa material, etc. Another inch longer would of eliminated this annoying problem.

Mom loves these shoes. The dexterity in her hands isn't what it used to be so the velcro tabs are perfect for her. If these were available in navy, she'd buy another pair. Comfortable and great support.

Perfect for anyone who has trouble with shoe laces.

I had high hopes for these sneakers but it did not pan out. My only complaint is that the two straps are way too short. They look fine in the picture but when you put your foot in the sneaker the straps only attach about an inch leaving 1-2 inches of velcro showing. I don't have a wide foot so I don't expect that is the problem. I'll be returning these and start another search.

The shoe was too small on the right foot . So I have to go a larger size. They look great!! I hope the new order does the job!
