I bought these for my daughter who's hands are too crippled by RA to manage laces any longer. She loves them! The fit is perfect and she says they have good support.

The shoe seems to fit fine, however; the straps seem to be thinner then my old new balance shoes & the straps are barely long enough to close, other than that they seem to be very comfortable.

I purposely ordered Extra Wide, and these are not that. They are probably a normal wide. Also, the base of the tongue rubbed too much on the top of my foot and it was uncomfortable.

Everything was perfect. I had the pkg in my entry for a few weeks before I could get opening it and was worried. But when I opened it I found everything was fine. The BEST part was I noticed that Zappos would take them back if I wasn't happy for a year. Boy, was I happy to read that. So happy with the shoes and Zappos. It was my first time ordering, how delightful.

My experience with New Balance is they have no arch support - basically flat.

Ordered these hook and loop shoes for my diabetic wife in medium (B) width. She was a bit narrow for her foot so we exchanged them for wide (D) width. Exchange was easy and she enjoys her new shoes which fit and look great.

They are true to size....fit perfectly and are great for my walks.

The fit is always good. I've always bought this style of shoe.

The shoes were far too stiff for my elderly mother to put on.

The tongue presses really hard into the top of my ankle, and the tongue was not sewn in well on the inside towards my toes. That was VERY uncomfortable and it should be totally smooth on the inside of the shoe for best comfort.

These shoes were very poorly made! The tongue of the shoe was bulky and rough inside, putting pressure on my foot; straps were cheaply made and did not close correctly. Worst pair of shoes I have ever ordered!

I've been wearing this shoe for years. It must be popular because they are hard to find but I won't buy anything else. Leather cleans well. This shoe gives me the support I need but is not too heavy. The hook and loop straps are adjustable so can be tightened or loosened easily.

The shoes did not fit well - smaller and narrower than expected. When I put my hand into the shoe where the tongue of the shoe was attached there were very rough spots which left red marks on the top of both feet. I returned the shoes.

They did not fit.

Unfortunately, the tongue is very high as well as very stiff and felt uncomfortable with sneaker socks.

This is a good-looking shoe but I'm going to have to wear them awhile to "break them in" (and I haven't had to do that with sneakers/athletic shoes before. Tight across top of foot even though size is my usual for all types of shoes (7 1/2 M). Biggest drawback is that the hook and loop strap does NOT extend/fold fully across itselffor both both hook and loop to line up. See self-explanatory images for the result. Decidedly NOT an attractive look. Perhaps it is just the shape of my particular feet. I'll keep the pair but will not use them as my primary go-to pair of sneakers, just as a backup when wearing jeans that come down over the foot. Overall when it comes to Zappos.com, I think it's a great place to buy shoes -- plenty of selection, reasonable prices -- and I really appreciate that returns are free. The return policy is a real incentive to shop Zappos.

This pair of my newest sneaks feel smaller, the Hook and Loop are shorter than all my others which makes them kind of tight. they seem to be all-around smaller. It seems like they have been cheapened. Very disappointed with Zappos.

New Balance makes the best shoes for my feet. The support is great, they are not too heavy. I'm sold on them!!!

Amazing love the Velcro!! It’s Fast and Easy to get in and out of the shoe. Great getting a break from show laces. The Velcro allows room if you want it tighter or looser. Comfortable Love the White New Balance I got a half Size up for comfort It was a great call. Delivery was quick Thank you so much New Balance will be back again By the way I try other sneakers but I always come back to New Balance. My ankle doesn’t hurt. I have flat feet and it’s just made perfectly

shoes were a perfect fit. first time Zappo customer. Pleased with service. Delivery was a day late due to snow storm. would consider Zappo again in the future

the tongue of the shoe comes up too far and hits the front of your ankle.

This style always fits me fine. I haven’t found a more comfortable and supportive pair of walking shoes. As for style, my grandchildren call any similar design “grandma shoes.”
