Put shoes on and something is rubbing on the top part of instep and toe box not as roomy as NB style 0568. Also too heavy. These go back

I'm a nurse; on my feet all day. I've been buying New Balance for over 8 years for work. I've always loved them. This pair that I'm wearing now are just not the same quality as New Balance has proved to be in the past. The rubber sole of the shoe is peeling away on both shoes! I've never had this happen EVER. I've only had these shoes 3-4 months. I only wear them at work. They have never even touched the ground outside the hospital.

The platform style wasn't the right fit for me, but was very comfy.

I have a wide foot, narrow heel and very high arch and instep. These shows are better than most, but still pinch my toes and provide no arch support. I have to return them. I need shoes with a wide toe box.

Hate these clunky, uncomfortable shoes. Ended up giving them away, after avoiding them the entire Summer. Not enough cushioning for the front of your feet. They're hot and trap lots of moisture in there. Wide enough for my bunions, but uncomfortable in so many other respects (and ugly) that I couldn't bear to wear 'em.

I have bunions and these caused my feet to ache within a couple hours of wearing them. I didn't think they provided enough cushioning or support for the soles of my feet. They might be fine for someone without foot pains, or if you put different insoles in. I love New Balance shoes and I ended buying a pair that was a half size larger and wide width and they worked great.

I was disappointed with this sneaker. I've ordered this brand before and never had a problem with width. This 2E was much too wide. Since I wear an ankle brace on my right foot I need a wider width but I'm swimming in this one. Should have sent it back.

I am a size 5.5 and it's hard to find sneakers that fit. These fit fine in size, but the support is terrible. They are so built up on the outside edges that my feet slope inwards towards each other, instead of being level. I would not buy New Balance again if this is the way all their shoes are built. I feel like I'm walking on the outside edges of my feet. I had stopped buying Rykas because the last pair were so narrow in the toe, but I may have to go back to them and try again.

These shoes feel very cheaply made. They also have a strange long toe area. I am returning them.

May be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have arthritis in my feet so the deep toe is great. However, I hate to say that these shoes squeak to the point of being embarrassing to wear! Thought I had found the perfect shoes!

I've been having trouble with my feet, so I was going for comfort instead of style when I ordered this shoe. It definitely looks a little orthopedic, and I didn't find them to be comfortable at all. I wear an 8.5. I ordered a 9 and that still felt short. I had them on for a minute and couldn't wait to take them off. They are going back!

I've been wearing New Balance for several years now, so I was confident this shoe would work for me. However, it just does not fit well. At first I thought I just needed to break it in, but the collar on the right shoe continues to rub and/or cause blisters, even after several weeks of wear. I've tried massaging the leather to soften the shoe but nothing helps. The tongue just comes up too far, resulting in painful pressure on the sides and front of my ankle. The left shoe fits the same way but for some reason doesn't cause the same problems. I can't see any defect in the shoe, so I can't send it back. But I can't wear it either, so come fall I'll start looking for a better-fitting pair of shoes.

Nice round toe, but shoe is one inch too short, and too narrow in the wide width. the leather is too stiff to open up and be comfortable.

I’ve worn New Balance for years because NB athletic shoes fit my narrow foot well, provide arch support and look nice. This shoe is HORRIBLE. It feels, looks, and smells faux leather. It’s so stiff I had to really work to get it on. The sizing is off. It’s ugly.

Supposedly the correct size, but at least a full size smaller. Wish I'd kept the box so I could return them. They're just collecting dust.

You sent the wrong size. I am not happy because I ordered when there were "2 left" I feel sure that the company sent same shoe, 1/2 size smaller on purpose to make a sale. I think this because in the past when my size was out of stock zappo's suggested a different size, which is crazy. If the company had been accurate and told me it was out I could have driven to a store and bought a pair. Instead you made me package it up and take it to a UPS representative. All this when I was leaving town and wanted the shoes with me. Not happy.

Not awesome at all. The shoes squeak horribly. Bought them for my Wife, her walking shoes. The noise is unacceptable. Very first time this has ever happened. Always buy New Balance.

Because of my neuropathy, it helps to wear wide width sneakers. The width and length were fine, but I would not recommend these because... (1) The bottoms were extremely hard. They felt like bricks, and I only took few steps inside my apartment. (2) Absolutely no arch support (3) I noticed they were heavy, just taking few steps in my apartment. I returned them right away. Thank you Zappos!

Too bad the company had to save a few pennies by shortening the tongue. They don’t work at all.

I was disappointed to find that the drawbacks in the reviews of other customers about these shoes are all true. It is at least half a size shorter than the size labeled of 10.5, fits like a 10 instead. It is accurate on the narrow width. The design and leather upper is good, and the fact the footbed is removable to use custom orthotics. The laces are a good length. The stiffness of the leather is very uncomfortable, and so is the lack of cushioning. It feels like walking in cardboard boxes. They also squeek, with or without orthotics. I will be returning these and trying a different brand of shoes. New Balance has failed to provide the comfort they once did in this and the other styles of their walking shoes, and I plan to skip using them in the future. At the prices charged for their shoes, they should pay more attention to padding and do some testing before putting them on the market.
