Pros: More "feminine" shape (not boxy), nice blue color, kept me dry in heavy rain. Cons: Seems to run small--not much room for layering. I'd be considered "petite" at 5'2" and thin frame. Normally wear a small, but don't have much room for layering so order up if you plan to do so. Hood seemed a bit small to me, too. No vents under the arms.

I just received this jacket as a Christmas gift, and I love it! I am 5'7" and 130 pounds and I got it in a medium. It fits perfectly, but I still have enough room to wear a sweater underneath. I know that some previous wind jackets have been kind of boxy, but this one is great. If a windbreaker can be flattering, this one is! I have shorter legs and a long torso, and even still, it is long enough for me. I also have a neck that is longer than most, but the zipper comes up quite high, basically to my chin, which I really like. The sleeves are long enough, with a little extra, but not too much. The hood is also a good size. You could easily fit a sweater under that part too and it is a good shape, not pointy or anything weird like that. I have yet to wear it in the rain or wind, but I am quite confident that I will be satisfied with it. Overall, it is a great jacket, and I am excited to use it and glad that after a couple years of thinking about purchasing this product, I now have one!

Love this jacket. It is so beautiful and such great quality. I was a little wary of white but it still looks brand new and washes up nicely. I am slim and 5'9 and went with the large for the sleeve length. Fits beautifully. Not too baggy.

This jacket is perfect for rainy days in the pacific northwest. It's not lined, so it's fairly lightweight. The fit is feminine, not too boxy. There is elastic around the hood, but no way to secure it if you want to make it tighter. Definitely a good buy for me.

This jacket runs smaller than the other North Face jacket my granddaughter has.

This is a great lightweight rain jacket. I brought mine in pink in XS. I thought it was big for XS. I would not say that it is a slimming fit, but a regular fit.

I love this jacket, I have been looking for a rain coat with a hood that was light weight but not too boxy. The size medium was very big and the arms were abnormally long and wide (I am 5'1", but they were so long I had to fold the sleeves twice) I am returning the coat but I totally plan on ordering a size small, which is what I would normally order but I thought I would get it a bit bigger in case I wanted to layer but it runs so big a size small will be fine even with a sweater on.

I'm 5'3" 130 and got the large since most people said they were ordering up a size. The large is a little roomy but I want to be able to wear sweatshirt under if I needed. I don't think I would be able to if I sized down. Still looks good though, you can cinch the bottom so it's not too boxy. Looks good on, love the turquoise color. Arms are a tad long but not that big of deal. Someone wrote that you couldn't cinch the hood but the cinch button is hidden in the hood you just have to feel for it. Overall I really like it!

I got this rain coat because a hurricane was poised to hit and I figured my usual routine of hoping my umbrella doesn't turn inside out was not going to cut it. This thing kept me dry while waiting for a constantly late bus. I love that it is waterproof and not just water resistant. This might not be the prettiest rain coat on the planet, but it is not the ugliest either. It also works extremely well. I thought the fit was great, not too baggy.

I bought three of these jackets for myself and my daughters. We all love them. They are very slimming. Size runs on the smaller size, order one size up!

Love this jacket! It's not a pure white, so it's not as much of a worry about getting it dirty. Fit is good, and it's very comfortable. The only thing that was surprising is that the hood does not roll into a zipped collar compartment (as I assumed), it just rolls under the collar. It doesn't really matter much to me, still love it!

Great jacket. Fits a little bit smaller than the Denali jacket but you won't need to size up. Lightweight and will keep you dry. I love that the hood is spacious. Can't beat Zappos free next day shipping. Thanks!
