My niece wanted this for Christmas, I ordered the Medium thinking she could grow into it and it is almost snug. Be aware that this jacket runs very small, order at least a size up. She loves the jacket.

This is a great, lightweight jacket. The white color is more like a sort of mushroom color. Works well as a windbreaker, but I have yet to test it in the rain.

This is the first time I've ever purchased a rain/wind jacket, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I really love this as a top layer only, for a relatively mild weather day with some rain and chilly temps. It works well with a sweater under it. For reference I am 5'3", 120lbs, short torso, 34B bust, fairly petite in stature. I went ahead and ordered a Medium initially based on the reviews. I would say this works fine if you intend on a lot of layer, but I found it to be too big for me and a bit sloppy looking because of the size. The sleeves were quite generous in length, but almost too much for me. I returned the Medium and ordered the Small. I like the way the small fits a lot more. I tested it with a "light" hoodie underneath and this is more of the experience I was looking for. I`m able to zip up the jacket, move around and it looks neater, in my opinion. The cut allows for a more feminine silhouette and it isn't very boxy. Overall, a nice jacket and Zappos is awesome with their customer service as usual.

Ordered the large Fuchsia pink and absolutely love it. I still want to see what the Passion Pink color would be like but this is also a nice color. Very flattering. I like the cut of the jacket...stylish. You will be happy with this purchase. If you are wondering whether to get the Resolve jacket or the Venture...go with the Resolve as it has a hood that can be tucked under so you have options.

True to fit, makes you look slim, nice to wear on the go and weather proof proven! I would buy another one.

This is a great rain coat. Light and airy but gives great protection. It is worth the money and being a North Face product will last forever. Highly recommend.

This is a very nice jacket. It is very light weight, but yet warm. I took it on a cruise to Bermuda, and was so happy to have it along. It was the perfect weight. Really love it. The white is very pretty.

Love this jacket. Perfect for spring time, it's waterproof during rain storms. Wish I could get it in many other colors. It shipped overnight. Amazingly quick!

This is a great jacket. I love mine, I wore it when I went to visit my daughter in college. She loved it so much she asked me to order one for her.

I ordered this one and the Venture jacket to see which I liked more. I ended up keeping the Resolve jacket since it's more fitted and less expensive. This fits pretty snug and doesn't have much insulation, so if you want to layer it, maybe don't size down. I'm 5'2" and 115lbs, petite, and the XS was nicely fitted and had the correct sleeve length, but the S would have fit over lots of layers. This Resolve is a great lightweight rain jacket. One thing I did notice was that the zipper can get hung up in the mesh lining since it's not tacked to the inside much, so that's something to be careful about.

Overall I really like this jacket. The fit is excellent! And it has a very flattering cut. It is simple, two pockets, a hood. The material is a bit crinkly, which I don't love. I was hoping for a softer material. But the coat meets my needs and looks really good on so I am happy with it.

I really like this jacket! I had the North Face Venture jacket for several years but sadly had to find a replacement as the inner plastic lining literally fell apart. This jacket's material is a little less soft but I think it keeps its shape better and is still very comfortable. It has an inner mesh lining that seems much more durable than the Venture jacket. I bought it for travel and errands and it has worked great. It folds up nicely and un-wrinkles quickly. I am usually between a small and medium and typically buy a medium in North Face as I have wide hips and NF typically has a straighter cut. The medium fits great with a little extra room to wear a sweatshirt underneath. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

I absolutely love this windproof and waterproof jacket. I wish it came in dark purple.

Really like that it isn't boxy and also isn't too long. It's light weight enough for a hot summer rain, but warm enough for cool spring winds. Looked a long time for a raincoat and I'm really happy with this one!

This jacket is perfect for shielding from inclement weather. As others have mentioned, it has a slimmer cut than North Face fleece jackets, which I found to be very flattering. The pockets zip for secure storage, and the brushed chin guard is a nice feature when the hood is up and the jacket is fully zipped. Most importantly, it kept me warm and dry in moderate rain. I'm 5'3/120 lbs/34B, and the small was a perfect fit. It gives me the opportunity to layer a sweatshirt underneath as needed, while also still looking fitted enough with just a t-shirt. I can usually get by with an XS in TNF fleece.
