We adults have worn TEVA products and loved them for years, but the quality of the product has seemed to decline over the years...cheaper, less durable product. We purchased our 7 year old boy the Hurricane sandal and the sole peeled back within the first month! They look cool, but not worth the buck it seems anymore if they are wearing out so quickly...bummed out : (

Sent them back. The plastic strap connector in the front had no padding underneath and in the first day of wearing, created two sores on my foot. Ordered the Minam which works fine.

QUALITY of the sandal is very poor. I wore my Hurricane XL's (black) twice, once on a 4 mile trek, and once around town to run some errands. The sole of the shoe is great, solid traction and rigid enough to protect my feet even on sharp, uneven, Arizona desert rock on the trails. HOWEVER, the padding & shock pad on both of my sandals shrank and pulled up away from the sandal after only 3 days. It appears that the adhesive they use for the pad completely failed. Terrible quality, clearly a corner was cut here. I cannot imagine I am the only person this has happened to so I'm unsure how this sandal is so highly rated, maybe mine was defective? These are supposed to be a versatile water and trek sandal. Not a sandal I would rely on ever again to carry me on a trail or on a water adventure.

These were great for the the first month of wear. I left them out on the back step to dry in the sun and when I returned to put them back on the insole had come unglued and curled up from the sole. I was very disappointed in the quality.

I wear my Teva sandals at the beach. After a couple of months, the soles begin to separate from the shoe. I clean out the invading sand, and attempt to fix with Super Glue. The glue holds only a couple of weeks. Very disappointing!

The soles of these sandals are only glued together & separated the 2nd time I wore them (it rained & they got wet). Teva has offered to replace them if I ship them back on my dime and they arent damaged by water, even though they are listed as "water Friendly" on their website. This was my 1st pair of Teva sandals & will sadly be my last.

Like the shoe, but cannot use a suede pad. My feet sweat too much! I sent the shoes back and am waiting for my refund.

I love Teva's sandals. I had a pair that lasted over a decade before the outsole finally cracked. This version (hurricane xlt) only lasted 4 weeks before the insole warped from the sun (iowa, not a desert). Customer service was awesome, I had to pay shipping to send them back, but they exchanged the warped pair for a new pair. Hopefully these don't warp too.

Can't believe it happened again! Ordered a pair of these for my son in February 2016. The top of the soles started peeling away and shrinking! Raised concern with Zappos who quickly replaced them and now (less than a month later) the same thing is happening to the new pair!

I work as a nature tour guide in Costa Rica, own a pair of at as for years and were one of the best sandals I ever had, they finally give up last years, so I went on line and got a new ones, and after 4 days of mile use in a 2 week trip, they started to come apart! Very sad and disappointed, I guess they don't make them as they use to.

These are a complete waist of money. After 2 year of wearing them about 60 times they fell apart. Pictures are attached. Poor materials and glue is used, makes them not durable!!! I'm probably going to buy new SOURCE pair, which are way more durable.

construction is cheap and quality is gone compared to the past 15 yrs that i have been purchasing teas

On my fourth pair of Teva's and all have been awesome. This time, not so much. The right sandal toe strap was a good two inches shorter than the left and it couldn't overlap the Velcro to stay "strapped." So back they went. Still looked like good sandals, just a QC slip is all.

This is my third pair. First pair lasted forever, purchased about 10 years ago and I gave them away to an indian fishing guide who kept eyeing them! They were still in good shape after about 6 years. The next pair didn't have the same sturdy feel as my original sandals but I took a chance on them, same sandal. They lasted under two years before delaminating. I glued them but that didn't last long. One more try, bought another pair, same model and same feel as the second pair (a little flimsier than the original pair). two years later, the soles on both sandals have delaminated. That's it. I have had enough.
