I am a raft guide and these sandals gave me nasty blisters. The triangle piece that connects the straps dug into my skin. Being in water all day some blisters are expected. For dry land use these were comfortable and cool.

I've been wearing Teva sandals for 20 years and have always loved them. I just bought a new pair of Hurricanes, and I love the look, feel, and fit (although I had to exchange them for a whole size smaller than I normally wear). They are great for walking and hiking. However, the footbed has a few hundred little "divots" which get filled with dirt and other gunk almost daily. You'd need a toothbrush to clean them out. I'm not sure what is the purpose of these little holes, but if it weren't for them, I'd love these shoes. If I recommended them, it would be with a warning.

I've worn these in the river during light canoe and kayak trips and while they work well overall, I find that the toe flips when walking in the river, which makes toe stubbing more likely. Overall they are great sandals. They would certainly not be good for moderate trips, however.

I used them as pseudo flippers when I was snorkeling in Aruba. Wide enough and big enough to give me just that extra push to go deeper more quickly.

This is my 3rd pair of Teva's and they have all been great! But this pair is the same size (8) (I am a true 7.5) that I have been buying and my foot is sliding around in them horribly. I catch myself squeezing my toes or walking on the side of my foot in order for my foot to stay. I have to make the straps real tight so the shoe does not slide and it then cuts of my circulation. It is too late for me to return them now since I have worn them outside. Oh, the straps are so long they touch the ground and I can't cut them till I can surge the ends and it looks kind of funny. Sorry Teva, I think I will go with Chaco next time. I have been a fan and always talk up Teva, I wear them EVERYWHERE, but now, they just don't feel right.

The soles are too thin allowing you to feel every little rock and bump.

My last pair had enough cover strap to conceal the Velcro. This style looked great until I tried them on and discovered that once strapped, he straps were not long enough and did not cover the Velcro. Not a nice look. Will be returning.

The sole is two pieces of rubber. One around the perimeter, one inside. On mine the one inside shrank away from the perimeter after a few months of use. Made it unusable.

My previous Tevas mercifully had more padded straps. The Hurricane model's straps are sharp and scrape my skin if I move too quickly.

These are really comfortable, reasonable arch support, good lateral grip. They delaminated after about a year of not very hard use. I'll try gluing them back, but I don't have great hopes.

There was no service from TEVA after a lenghty back order. If I were providing a service and didn't have the product handy...I would have at least paid for the shipping for the inconvenience of waiting an extra length of time. All I got was the company line of..."we're sorry for the inconvenience" ...But, we're still not going to provide service...

If your feet over pronate (that is roll inward) do not buy these sandals. Fairly flat support.

A friend sent these as a gift after I provided her with the length of my sons foot. I then shipped them back as a swap for two sizes larger and they still don't fit my two year old. He Will NOT wear them. Too stiff

I owned 2 pairs of Teva's Teradactyls. They finally wore out. They fit me PERFECT! Years one size's sole is perfect for me, but the length of the straps are a little too short, they bind, just not enough to my liking. The larger pair I have, the bindings are long enough, but the sole is too long and too wide. I'm saddened the Teradactyl model isn't made. What's worse is my old Teradactyl size is no longer made the same way as the same size today by Teva. They have changed the soles/straps sizes in some way.

I bought these again because I had a pair and the comfort is great. But I am returning them because I'm afraid they will really make my feet stink. I was hoping they wouldn't because they say they have Microban but the little indentations in the footbed collect dirt and then your foot sweats into the dirt and bingo, you have a real odor problem. I'm back to leather footbeds.

we had to stop wearing them on longer (4km) walks due to the thinning of the soles from the older models. They now exacerbate heal pain if used for too much walking. Good around the house. In the past I would have recommended them to friends but no longer. I still do like the style just wish the foot pad was thicker like it used to be

I love the durability and the anti-bacterial property. I don't have to really clean or wash it. But it was painful after a whole day hike due the rubbing of plastic to skin at the knuckle of the small toe.

I as well owned Teva's in the past and loved them. This pair I do not. It stains my feet black if I get them wet. The straps are to long. The straps are starting to fray as well. I have only had them since July, 2009. They are very comfortable.

Perhaps I did not look closely enough at the photo but, but because I have previously had a pair of Tevas that I love, I assumed these would be just as comfortable but the webbing is too stiff with no padding and I can't wear them at all.

I generally like these sandals and have other pairs. My older ones have smooth insoles and I love them - these I feel like I should take a rasp to them to smooth them down. Wore them in the sand yesterday and couldn't tell the difference between the sole and the sand - not good. Go back to the smooth soles. Thanks.
