There not bad, A bit on the pricey side, I'v walked about 30 miles in them the last 2 weeks and they still feel just a little off, hope I get used to them. The upper strap closes to the inside opposite to what i'm used to. All and all not bad

Sometimes when I put it on, it feels very comfortable. Other times, without any adjustments, it pokes and chafes my skin. The padding on the straps folds under sometimes but when I try and tighten the straps, causes my feet to hurt because if feels too tight. However, I do like the relatively light weight, cushioning and water drainage of the sandal.

I love the model I bought several years ago. It has held up extremely well, is comfortable and performs exceedingly well, which is why I purchased a replacement pair. The new tread seems adequate. Changes I don't appreciate: lacks full-sole drainage system, the clasp on the ankle strap doesn't secure the strap adjustment (important for rafting and kayaking as velcro fails under extreme, and even not so extreme, water forces, potentially resulting in losing one's footwear), the fabric padding under the straps is thinner and doesn't completely cover the foot, no front footbed guard (sole extends up the front of the sandal on the old model, protecting the softer footbed), much less thickness in the footbed, less stitching holding it all together. I don't expect this model to last as long as the previous or to perform as well. I hope I am mistaken.

These sandals look nice and appear to be of good quality. However, my husband found them to run quite narrow. He ordered in his size first, and then half a size up. We ended up returning both pairs and will be replacing them with different sandals. Fortunately, Zappos' customer service and return policy are excellent and simple.

I purchased a pair of Toachi 2's and a pair of the Tanza's. The Toachi 2's were considerably skinnier in width and my foot felt like it was not "stable" in the sandle. I would not feel comfortable walking over rocks or uneven terrain in these so I returned them.

I purchased 6-8 pair of Teva Sandals in the past. The sandals I purchased had a stinky smell after wearing them 10-15 times. I now purchase ECCO sandals and don't have that problem. I like the look and colors of the Teva, but not the smell.

I do like the Toachi 2 sandals but not as well as the kinetic circuit sandals which the Toachi 2 replaced.

The Toachi will not replace The Kinetic Circuit which are not available any more. For 10 years The KInetic Circuit has been a miracle shoe for my flat, weak feet. It gives tight support without chafing and lets me walk everywhere. I wear it for everything except dinners out & parties. I now have four pair, all over a year old. I needed a new pair. The Toachi does not give the same support. I will try it for exercise walking, but doubt it will be as good. It is comfortable for around the house. But I will keep looking for a Circuit replacement. If you have a any suggestions, I welcome them.

I returned this product as the straps were too narrow and bothered my big toe. Need wider softer material under velcro starps.
I did purchase the leather omniums with the enclosed toe and so far I am very happy with them.
I really will miss my 4, ?5 year old hiking sandal that had the funcky closed toe and excellent strap support and cushioning. BRING IT BACK, please!

Nice sandal for hiking/camping, not very appealing to the eye, could have better colorway

I have trouble getting my feet through the neoprene opening of the more shoe-like sandals, but want closed toe. The old version of this sandal was perfect. Now there is nothing Teva makes that I can wear.

Great sandle. The only main issue I have with the design is that the straps have protectors between your foot and plastic straps which tend to bend and stay folded and irritate your foot.

Why mess with a good thing! The original style of these shoes was a much better design in my opinion. I loved everything about them. It had the arch support I needed, tons of cushion for comfortable walking, plenty of padding on all straps.
I ordered a pair of the new style and have been trying them all this past week. I am not impressed. They look and feel a bit on the cheap side. The straps are thinner and have less padding. The material used to make the footbed can be uncomfortable against my foot. The arch support is a bit less on these. And the cushiony feel is almost completley gone. The whole shoe also seems to be a bit narrower than the old style. Not good for those of us with wide feet.
I will keep these shoes because with my plantar fascitis it is hard for me to find sandals with great arch support. These are close enough that I think they will still work. But with all the other details being way off, I don't think I will be ordering them again one day.
I would suggest to Teva that they bring back the old style and offer both to consumers.
If I had known Teva was changing things, I would have stocked up on the original.

I bought this because I need something hardy for desert trails and rocks. I also needed something without a velcro strap, which wears out for me. I was looking for the old guide sandal which I wore for years. This one is much less rubber between me and the rocks. The toes seemed to be flat instead of arched up. I was disappointed in the amount of protection.

I use these as my regular shoes all year. The mid sole is very cushy - nice. The buckle closure is super. I would like the outer sole and arch to be a bit heavier like my old Tevas (model long since forgotten). Some times bits of strap fabric fold under and have to be straightened out.

This is my fourth pair of (basically the same)Teva sandals and I am disappointed in the quality. My old ones (which have been around the world and have barely any tread left)were much better made. The new ones are thinner on the sole, the finish on the edges is simply cut instead of wrapped and top-stiched. They will be less comfortable and not last as long. If you are going to make them more cheaply (but still charge [$]/pair) I may as well buy a Teva immitation.

Like the Toachi 2 but the only reason I bought it was Teva discontinued the original Toachi. That was a great all terrain sandal and the closed toe guard was perfect. This sandal is really just ordinary.

Teva is a great brand. Having said that, Teva needs to offer Wide Sizes. I gave the Toachi 2 a 3 star rating because, although they felt great and seemed to be everything I needed in a sandal, it failed in the aspect that no wide sizes are available. I haven't seen a Teva with Wide Widths. Had to return them. :(

This model is not nearly as comfortable as the toachi 1. I love the old one and would like to get more now that I know how to repair the soles. I probably wouldn't have purchased the new model if I had tried it on in the store. The comfort factor is gone. I have problem feet and the old ones were therapudic for me. the new ones not so much.

The look is great. Up to date and stylish. Compared to my original version of that sandal, the new one isn't quite as comfortable. The first version had more arch support for one thing. It was the perfect shoe.

Quality is lowest of any Teva I've owned. I assume this was done to save weight, hope it was not done to drive your bottom line!

Love my older pair, soft and easy to latch but had to exchange new pair because very stiff and the closing latch mechanism was so stiff that I struggled to try to close it. I think the company needs to try to close each pair several times before shipping the out products to clients. Next time if I have the same problem, then I will want a refund!

Love the comfortable fit, but can't get the smell out despite multiple approaches with soaps, bleach, sunlight, baking soda.

This is my second pair of similar Tevas. The first has lasted 10 years or more and I would still be wearing them if my wife and daughters didn't give me so much grief about them being out of style. I bought a new pair almost exactly like the old pair and they hate them, too. I think my old ones were a bit more comfortable than the new ones, however. Not sure why. I don't like how the new ones fasten on the inside.
