I wear these to work every day (lucky me!) as well as for kayaking and river wading. I am prone to heal pain-wore nothing but Birkenstocks for 30 years-until I discovered Teva sandals. Loved the Katavi but blew through two pairs in two years, so I decided to try something more durable. The Toachi 2 looked promising in the pictures. Once I had them on my feet I fell in love with them. Amazingly light, and even more comfortable than Katavis. I would have given them 5 stars but I have only had them a month, so too soon to evaluate durability. I believe it will be good, though. Love them so far!

The Zilch falls off with any water use. Might consider a small attachment strap from the toe piece to the first cross strap. This way water wouldn't bend it forward so easily and off the toe. Otherwise...awesome sandal!

I like the buckle, keeps from adjusting the strap every time on and off. Good fit comfortable. Very please with the purchase.

My favorite general outdoor sandal. It's not formal enough for evening wear. Teva should make a leather version for evening.

I have used Teva shoes for years now and I love all the sandals I have bought! These are very durable and the splash of color adds just enough of a feminine side for me to be able to handle. In other words: it's not overly girly but not manly either. I wear my Teva's all summer long and I expect to do the same with these.
Two things though: I wish the strap over the top of the foot would be connected when I unbuckle it. And I'm also afraid the velcro will wear out as I go into the water this summer. But other than that, I'm extremely pleased with what I have!

I own six pairs of Teva shoes. They are wonderful and comfortable. However, on the Toachi II, the stap just below the toes does not meet, and the strap caused a blister after just one hour of wear.

positive: overall better than terra fi 3 because there is no plastic on the side that can make lesions near the malleolus, better strap system
very good strap system with the buckle. Once adjusted, always the same and right length can be used. Furthermore there is less abrasion
the sandals do swim in water...
good sole
negative: too less cushioning (less than terra fi 3), at best it should be like nike air
the sandals survived extensive walking in la palma, canarian islands

Great Sandals, really fit good and feel good. The only complaint I have is for some reason it's awkward to snap together the side buckle on the outside of your foot. I think it would be easier to do if the buckle was on the inside of the foot. Other than that they are everything they are advertised to be.

Decent fairly lightweight, simple design. It lacks the arch support of the Ecco. Returning it.

I love Teva sandals and decided to try the Toachi 2 and the snap system. There is one major design flaw that I have seen others mention in that the straps are not long enough. When I adjusted both the instep and toe straps to be comfortable, I only hand about 1 inch of Velcro that I could attach the strap two. I have been wearing Teva Tanza's which give me about 2-3 inches of Velcro to attach to. Overall I am not happy with this aspect of the Toachi 2 and would probably not order another pair.

This is an alright sandal, not the greatest. Did a bit on unexpected running in them and they tore my feet apart, so don't run in them if you don't have to! I have wide feet and they fit just fine.

Only had them for a few weeks now but one big problem is the upper velcro strap, over the arch, velcro's closed so the end of the strap is on the inside of the foot. The end of the strap flaps around and catches on to the opposite foot's strap and now they both stick up. They should either velcro closed in the opposite direction or the velcro closure should go all the way to the end of the strap so it sticks.

Teva really screwed up. Everything I love about Teva has changed. Teva used to wide feet and contour perfectly with my toes. This sandal is narrower and more pointed than all my past Teva's. The arch support is either to high or the heal is to low. I find myself rolling from the arch to the heel. The straps are much thinner and will not last. Oh, did I mention that they are to pointed. Mine are the right size, but they stick out one inch past my toes at the point. This really sucks. I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews. I would definitely recommend these. If you are buying Teva, thinking you know what you are getting, you will get a big surprise.

Loved these sandals as they have a buckle as opposed to a velcro securing strap. That being said, the buckles last a lot longer than velcro, which is what makes this sandal last longer in theory. The velcros securing straps I have had in the past tend to wear out rather quickly, decreasing the wear value for the amount of dollars spent. A couple of days ago however, the material tore around one of the plastic loops rendering the sandals useless. The only reason I am complaining is that I only had these sandals for maybe 4 years where some claim to have had the velcro versions last for ten years. I highly doubt the ten year stories but nonetheless feel shorted.

Teva sandals are my favorite sandals except this time I noticed they took of 1/2 inch in width off (compared to the Tevas I last bought) and are now too narrow. I will have to cut them and stitch in a longer strap just to get them to fit, but the sole is still a little narrow. Years ago they made perfect fitting sandals, not so much now.

Not ss well-built and comfortable as my older Teva's. These are the best that I could find that are comparable to my previous Teva's

Sandal sizing is not consistent with other Teva styles. I currently own six pair
of Teva sandals and this is the only pair that has such a narrow foot bed. Not
a problem if you have a very narrow foot. I don't, so they don't work for me.

These fit well and are very comfortable. However, they have started to make squishing noises when wet, so I'm afraid they are likely to delaminate. I think I need a water shoe that is really water proof and has a solid sole.
