Love my older pair, soft and easy to latch but had to exchange new pair because very stiff and the closing latch mechanism was so stiff that I struggled to try to close it. I think the company needs to try to close each pair several times before shipping the out products to clients. Next time if I have the same problem, then I will want a refund!

I bought these for our trip to Maui, and they have exceeded my expectations. They are extremely comfortable, great to walk and run in. They provide excellent grip. I love the quick release strap, as it saves having to futz with the velcro adjustment each time I put the sandals on. They fit and stay on so well that often I don't even bother snapping the quick-release on.

I love these sandals. I wear them all summer long. They were comfortable right from the start! They are light but feel sturdy. I highly recommend them!

Have loved my Terra Fi's for years. Needed to replace. These feel slightly less rugged but are much more comforatable. I don't understand why a clip is easier then velcro but it doesn't bother me.

One update to the Toachi 2 is the top strap that goes across your toe area. The Toachi 1 was one single strap. The Toachi 2 has a little gap in it close to the base of the big toe. For me personally, it's a bit of a problem due to a bunion on that foot. The edges of the gap bang into the bunion a little. It's like the bunion gets hung up in the gap. For me, the original strap was more comfortable. Maybe that will ease up with more wear. One other change to the Toachi 2 is the toe area in the base of the shoe is less rounded; it's more oval or narrow. Again, it's just my personal opinion about liking the rounded look better. No big deal and definitely not a deal breaker. Otherwise, it's an AWESOME sandal all the way around!! I love them and hope more color options will be available one day.

I use these at the lake in and out of water. camping, hiking canoeing bicycling. I have relatively narrow feet so the straps were a little long but overall this is a great sandal.

I bought them for riding on my Jet Ski but they are so comfortable I wear them all the time and can wear them so much longer than any of my other sandals.

These shoes are great for just wearing around, but are awesome for hiking and lighter trails, especially if you hate wearing boots like I do.

Superb arch support that is immediately apparent upon first use. Snap buckle is very convenient and ensures that sandal won't disapeer after the class 4/5 water rafting rapid.

Most comfortable sandal I've worn. Wonderful cushiony, springy feel. Only owned for two months, so can't comment on durability. Would like a broader color selection. Sometimes a bit fussy to put on, because sometimes the corner of the strap pad over the big toe gets turned under and has to be straightened out. Having buckles is a definite plus for easy put-on and take-off; one of the reasons I purchased these. I like having the straps adjusted just right and being able to quickly and easily clip the sandals on. Though I'm not wild about the colors, I bought three pairs just so I'll have some to use when the line gets discontinued for an "improved" version.

I use the sandal for trail and water use and they have proved to be comfortable and sturdy - the reinforcments at key points have proved invaluable for water travel over rocks - fantastic product - I would buy them again - hope they are still around in years to come!

I wear this shoe every day. The pad over the big toe is a bit shorter than the past tevas I've worn, and the shape is a bit different, but these have turned out to be very comfortable. I put a lot of miles on them, so hopefully they will last as long as my previous versions.

My old Tevas had much thicker soles, were heavy, and made my feet smell. These new ones fix all of those. The thinner soles don't affect my hiking comfort. I like these Toachi 2's alot. Can they make them better? Probably, but I can't say how.

I had to return them after several near-slip-and-falls on smooth concrete surfaces. Thin soles made them lightweight -- a good thing -- but also provided less arch and toe support. I found better support in the original Terra Fi.

My one issue is that the straps hang up and seem to move more in increments than sliding smoothly. The result is frequent stops to "re-tune" the fit.

I have spent a hundred dollars this year on inexpensive sandals in hopes of replacing my aging and dog chewed on Teva's with no success. I finally broke down and bought some Teva's online. Cost me almost [$] but worth every penny. Sizing is perfect and very comfortable. Wore them all day walking around a theme park with my kids. Love the buckle on the strap.

Love the comfortable fit, but can't get the smell out despite multiple approaches with soaps, bleach, sunlight, baking soda.

I returned my Tevas (Toachi 2) because I felt the "improved" version was uncomfortable. The straps chafed and the "improved" heel was very uncomfortable. My husband glued my old Tevas back together (heels were coming off) with glue he uses to make golf clubs. I'm hopeful that I will have many more years with my old but fixed Tevas. My original pair of Toachi Tevas have been great until the heels started to come apart. When the new pair did not meet my expectations for comfort, I decided to let my husband try to glue them back with golf club glue, rather them send them back. I had purchased the original pair from a store in North Carolina several years ago. That pair, now back on my feet, was worth of a gold star until the heels came apart. Hopefully the glue job will work! Redo the Toachi 2 Tevas so they are more like the older version; then you might have ones I would like to try again.
