I took them on vacation to Hawaii and walked everywhere in them. They were so comfortable even after walking after 8 to 9 hours. I love the way they fit and look on my feet. I would definitely buy another pair. I look forward to seeing more bright colors and patterns.

Adjustable Tevas are the perfect solution for people like me with RA who have deformed feet. I can adjust the straps for a perfect fit. I do like my last pair a little better because the straps were wider. These shoes are also a great design for people who have an issue with feet that swell. Keep up the good work!

I can walk for miles comfortably in my new Teva sandals. Definitely worth the investment. Good bye forever to flip flops.
I have some arthritis in my right foot and problems with my tarsal bone. I had to re-think and re-vamp my shoe wardrobe. I had heard of Teva sandals and read good reviews, so I decided to order a pair on line. I concur that they are an excellent product. I can wear them all day and my feet feel fine at night. I wanted something durable and light weight that were easy for walking around town but also beach worthy.
Great product.

I bought these for fishing and boating. I like them so much I started wearing them to town. They are comfortable and look nice. I like the bright purple. I will have to buy another pair for the boat!

My favorite feature of these sandals is the buckle strap. Most Teva sandals use velcro for the closure, but these use a plastic buckle (with velcro to adjust the fit). I bought my first pair of buckle Tevas about 15 years ago, and they just wore out this year. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a modern equivalent. I was happy to be wrong.

I spend 1/2 the year in South Florida and when there I live in Teva sandals. I've been wearing Tevas for over 20 years and have only had trouble with one style and they were replaced quickly and easily. I'll probably be buried in Tevas.

I wear them every where, even in the house. I have problem with PLANTERS-FASCHITIS and there is a lot of pain when pressure is on heel. I don't have the pain when wearing these sandles. My 20 year old Tevas work almost as well as these.

Great support. Comfortable right out of the box. Big improvement over Toachi 1. Design appears to have reduced risk of delamination (soles peeling off) like with the Toachi 1. I question whether they are as durable, though, in terms of upper. I like to do outdoor activities (hiking, fishing etc.) in them. Time will tell.

Overall I like the sandles. I have an old pair of Tevas +10 years and wore them always, I still do. These are the similar style, only sandle offered with buckle, not just velcro, which I love. I'd hate to velcro on and off, like the quick snap! The old pair were also less bulky, they had triangular plastic rings at junctions, which made sandle less bulky and cooler (tempwise). Although the new material dries faster, it shows dirt more and really wish they had the more open design of my old pair. I have a feeling the new sandles will look older faster due to dirt? we'll see. Overall you can't beat Tevas, a little pricey but they last forever!

I use this sandal to hike the White Mountains of NH and Green Mountains of VT. I surprise many who see me on the trail to whom I extol its virtues--lightness, comfort, stability, and better friction on wet rock than most hiking boots. They even are less prone to holding dirt and pebbles than boots!
This sandal is evolved from predecessor models for which I have received replacements from Teva (thank you!). On the first model, the sole split--problem solved in the replacement. On the second model, the strap separated from the sole at the glued interface--hopefully, the current model has fixed that.
I also tried Chaco sandals, which didn't fit the sole of my foot and had much poorer traction on wet rock. I feel that the traction on wet surfaces may be slightly less good on this model than previous ones.

This very lightweight sandal, is comfortable. I wear it for light hiking in hilly rocky areas to access the river. It provides excellent traction. The sandal doesn't allow my feet to slip in the sandal because it fits so well. The only negative thing is that the arch support has changed and is a bit too flexible and soft on the newest pair and I really prefer the old style rigid arch support that gave better structure to the sandal. Teva is an excellent company that stands behind it's products.

Like the Toachi 2 but the only reason I bought it was Teva discontinued the original Toachi. That was a great all terrain sandal and the closed toe guard was perfect. This sandal is really just ordinary.

Teva is a great brand. Having said that, Teva needs to offer Wide Sizes. I gave the Toachi 2 a 3 star rating because, although they felt great and seemed to be everything I needed in a sandal, it failed in the aspect that no wide sizes are available. I haven't seen a Teva with Wide Widths. Had to return them. :(

Wore these sandals on one moderate 10 mile out and back hike along a stream. It might be more appropriate to describe the hike as a nature walk with some walking in and across the waters.
Within the first hour, the back of the shoe was chafing and causing blisters on the backs of my feet. About half way through the hike, the straps across the toes were causing blisters on both sides of my feet where the straps came into contact with my skin. Also, the arch support which felt nice while wearing casually started to rub into my arch so much that I had huge blisters there as well. By the end of my hike I had at least half a dozen blisters on each foot and my feet were bloody.
I had stopped several times to apply bandaids and moleskin however their help was minimal as they could not cover my entire foot. I would need complete moleskin socks to stop the shoes from chafing.
Furthermore, the shoes are supposed to be very gripping in the water, yet it appeared they had minimal grip as I slipped quite a few times including a rather bad fall that resulted in injury.
Additionally, I want to say that all of the little crevices on the shoes were so filled with sand grains from the sand along the stream that I had to constantly stop to pick them out otherwise they too would start to cause blisters.
Finally, at the conclusion of the hike, the buckle closure on the left shoe was stuck closed and there were many small scrapes in the "shock pad" rubber making the shoes look as if they were worn for months,
I am not an expert at hiking through wet areas, but I have above average experience in terms of hiking desert areas and these shoes would never make it through an actual moderate to difficult hike. I could not imagine wearing these shoes at the beach either as all the sand would probably get lodged in the shoes causing massive discomfort.
I am really disappointed as I have heard so much for years about how Teva makes the most reliable and comfortable hiking and water sandals.
Sure, these are cute and I got many compliments on how they looked before the hike, but that does not make up for the amount of pain I am in now.
So I would recommend these shoes only to someone who works a desk job and would almost never be walking in them.

When at home I am always in my Tevas
Often when I went out I would wear my Tevas.
Now with the Toachi2 I will wear out more often because they look so classy.

Very comfortable Teva. After 11 years, my original pair finally needed replacing. While that is a tall order, and I honestly do not expect this pair to last THAT long, these have been able to take the abuse so far. I have taken them on a couple longer hikes of 12+ miles while carrying my 13 month old on my back, and did not have any problem with fatigue or blisters/chafing (.... on a side note I read reviews for these and noticed a person or two complained of this. I was a little nervous of this, but those people either had a lemon or have ultra-sensitive feet. These Toachi 2 have NEVER given me even the SLIGHTEST problem). The shorter hikes (still with the baby) / casual all-day uses have been extremely comfortable as well. I was concerned that moving from the older traditional style like the Hurricane / Terra Fi to this would irritate my feet, but they have transitioned perfectly. They have A LOT more cushioning in them than my older pair, and my feet do not get tired in them when wearing them all day. While this leads me to believe they might not last a full decade, my feet are definitely more comfortable in them. In two months they've chewed up the rocky Continental Divide, the smokey Appalachian Trail, and every environment in between. The only negative, (and this could a personal problem) is that my feet can sweat and stink if they're on all day long. Other than that, they seem to be perfect.

This is my second pair of Teva after the old one got so worn out. It is so much more comfortable and cuter than my old pair. It fits perfectly. It is much lighter and the straps are better. It has a better cushion than my old pair. Definitely a better version than the old ones I bought from many years ago. Its a great summer footwear.

I use the product all around. I wish they would bring back the Toachi with the toe guard. Best hiking shoe I've ever worn, but the Toachi with toe delaminated. Teve replaced it without question, but the toe was no longer available. I bought the Keen sandal and I like it, but it's bulkier, harder to get sand out of and isn't nearly as comfortable to walk in as the Toachi.
