Great dress for pear shapes. I usually wear a 12/14 and I got the XL. It fits great. I think a L may have clung to my stomach a bit more than I would want. I am a D cup and ahem, not as "perky" as I used to be. The shelf bra provided absolutely zero support for me so I wear the dress with a strapless bra. I don't consider that a minus, however, as there isn't a shelf bra in the world that can hold me up. Bottom line: very cute, comfy, flattering dress at a reasonable price!

This is my first Zappos purchase and I will be back for sure! I love this dress! The shelf bra gives good support, and is very flattering to bust line. The dress itself is slimming and the cotton material is nice for warmer days in sunny California. I'm a size 4 and usually buy small. However, Zappos was out of small so I tried the medium. It was a good choice since these dresses definitely run a little smaller.

I love this brand, so far I purchased 2 dresses and it fits me perfectly. And it matched the product description.

Love this dress! Great, flattering fit. My usual size is somewhere between a Medium and a Large. After reading previous reviews, I bought a Large, and it is the perfect size for me. This dress is one of my favorite things in my closet.

Very flattering fit except the top is cut rather low and wide (across the front). Made for big busted women who don't mind showing it off? The material is very comfortable. Runs big.

This is a great little dress. It's very flattering for smaller bust sizes, but I imagine you would spill out of it if you are larger than a B cup! I have it in Cadeques/Phosphorus which makes for a bright, feminine summer dress. I'm 5' 8" and 135 lbs and the Medium is a good fit. Patagonia is my new favorite dress brand this summer!

Great dress! Comfy and looks good, too. Very versatile. Fits snug but not ridiculously so. And yes, its best for small breasted women. I've recommended this dress to friends who are not shopaholics, but appreciate a good looking dress.

I love the color and style of this dress. It seems to be made very well. However, my one issue with this dress - and let me preface this by saying it may be an issue particular to me- is that it is not a dress to wear if you want to bend over at all and not expose yourself. The dress is the correct size for me, however as an A cup, I can not even bend over in the dress without the girls popping out. I do not know if bustier women would have the same issue. For a dress I expected to be a casual, on the go piece of attire I find this very disappointing. Due to the fact the "over exposure issue" is kind of big, it is not something I would recommend to other women who fear the same problem.

Love this dress - I just ordered it in black - I have a larger bust (36C) so was worried about fit - I ordered a size up XL based on the reviews and it fits great - comfortable and flattering. My husband loves it! So I ordered another in Blue - great summer dress!

I purchased this dress and another dress by Prana (both halters, both in black) for a wedding. I ended up keeping the Prana dress ONLY b/c it had a fancier neckline. That being said, this is a VERY pretty dress and I may very well purchase it in a color (not black) at some point in the near future. The bust of the dress is small (like some of the reviews mentioned below). The torso is a-line shaped and not at all clingy (great for anyone who might have a slight tummy pooch). For reference, I wear a size 6 in most everything with a 34b/c bustline and this dress fit me perfectly in a size Medium.

This is a great dress! I love the halter style – it’s so flattering. Very comfortable. I wear a size 36D - I bought the large and it’s a bit loose in the back. I need support to keep the girls up, you know. I’ll try a medium to see if that fits better. If you’re full-chested and modest, this probably isn’t the dress for you. It works great for me though!

This dress is by far one of the best purchases I’ve made in years. It will be my go-to outfit for the entire summer. I recently went hiking with friends in the Grand Canyon, and it was the perfect thing to stow in my pack for a change of clothes after a long day on the trail. I’m also thrilled to have found a dress that truly offers adequate built-in support, which is nice on hot summer days when you don’t feel like having to wear extra layers. I bought the black one, and I absolutely love the flattering silhouette. Wish they made more in allover solid colors. I’m 5’4”, 118 lbs, 34C, and the medium fits wonderfully. I generally wear a size small in other brands, but risked ordering a size up after reading other reviews. Glad I did.

Love this dress. It is very comfortable and the cut of the dress is very flattering. I’m usually a small, but ordered a medium after I read some reviews on how form fitting the dress is. It does tend to be more form fitting in the bust. The reviews served me well because the medium fit perfectly. The dress also has built in support, so no worries about wearing a bra. I tend to be average in bust size 34B, so take into consideration how much support you will need. Otherwise, love it!

Casual, comfortable, supportive, stunning! This dress far exceeded my expectations. I was surprised that Patagonia produced such a stylish piece. The quality is just as great as I expected, however. Be advised that if you are busty, it will show in this dress. I am a D cup and I don’t think that someone any larger would stay inside the top.

So great, I bought two! I love this dress! First I bought the blue, and it fits perfectly (I'm a size 2, so I got the small). I am a B-cup and with the halter ties and lining, I don't even need a bra! This dress is really flattering - I also bought it in black.

This dress is downright awesome. It fits like it was tailored for me, is very flattering, and looks beautiful dressed up or down. Very versatile. Low maintenance, too, just wash, dry and that's it. I love the feel of the fabric, rather thick without being too hot. I have purchased the black one, and while I do not wear black much, I figured that every girl should probably have a little black dress. This one is definitely it for me! I can definitely recommend! Shipping, of course, was lightning fast again. Go Zappos!

I love this dress! I bought 2 in different colors/patterns. It fits so well and is so flattering...very fitted up top and nice and roomy down below. It probably isn't as great for someone with a large chest as it runs small in that area. Hope this helps!

I love this dress. The fabric has a good weight and body, not too thin or sheer. I’m a size 8 and the medium is perfect. My daughter is a size 6 and wears the small. I would say it is true to size... your bust size will determine.

I LOVE this dress. I bought 2 - the black and the blue. I’m 5’2” and usually buy petite. The skirt hits at the top of my knee. It’s super comfortable and keeps me cool. I wish they had more solid colors. The weight is perfect.

I love the dress it is great for Austin summers. It fits me well and I am full of curves. The only thing that I would say that the dress is pretty low cut.

Thrilled! I ordered this dress yesterday afternoon and it was sitting on my doorstep this evening when I got home from work. Yes, this dress runs small and I am a petite woman. I ordered the XS and it fits great for me! I typically wear a 00 petite at stores like Ann Taylor and Banana Republic. The neckline is a deep scoop, so if you have a heavier bust line, you may want to keep that in mind. Really a fun dress can't wait for my hubby to see it!
