This dress is nice on, but tight on the top. If you are larger than a C cup, you may need to size up.

Beautiful and comfortable dress! The size runs a little smaller for Patagonia. I always wear xs for any brands, but sometimes Patagonia's xs was a little too big for me. This dress is true to size, fits me perfectly, true extra small.

Comfortably sexy! This dress has a very nice cut. I ordered a size 4, my usual size, and it fit perfect. But I am small in the chest, maybe what would normally be a 2, so the really form fitting top part which is great on me, may not be for everyone. The material feels soft but like it will hold up over time. I love this dress!

I have been hunting for good travel dresses for my honeymoon in Maui, and I had high hopes for this one. I bought this dress in a size M, black. I am 5'3, about 127 lbs and a 32D. I usually wear a 6 petite in clothing but based on other reviews I ordered a Medium. Even sizing up it was still a very snug fit around the chest, and I have a very narrow upper body. The material is thick and doesn't seem like it would be comfortable on damp or sweaty skin. Also, it is more low-cut than I am comfortable wearing. The lower neckline could be due to the larger size. Returning.

Fits wonderfully. Very comfortable, yet attractive. I'm 5'7 144 lbs., and ordered the Large. I'm in my late 40's, and it looks great, and is forgiving to all my curves.

I really love this dress. It is very flattering and perfect for the beach or home. The cotton is very thick and does not cling in the wrong places which is nice.

Very comfortable dress. Love the feel of the material. Size was true. Falls just above the knees - not to short, not too long. It is holding its color well after a few washings, but I am concerned that it will look faded out over time. For now, I can wear it in a more casual setting or can dress it up. If it would fade, then I would only be comfortable with casual only.

If the fit is true to size for you, this is a great dress for you. I am a somewhat curvy large size with a slim waist and full hips. My bust is 38c. Since the somewhat thick dress offered a lovely built-in shelf bra I decided to try it on without my usual Spanx (another great brand) strapless bra. It worked beautifully! Wear this dress with the legging undergarment, (again Spanx brand since it just won't slide down) to provide a slimline fit from just above the knee to just below the bust. It'll slim you up and cover all those little areas that seem to nag us all the time; or at least they nag me; ya know that stomach that just won't go away, etc. I just loved the design. The way the bust came down to point toward the bust center, the slim waist, and then how it "bells" out to beautifully emphasize those hippy ladies or for those slimmer ladies who would appreciate a bit of a hip and finally, for free hip movement which adds to the overall fantastic style of the dress. Love the dress. Thanks.

I agree with another reviewer - the strap placement is awkward. Too loose and it might as well be a tube top. Too strong and it digs into your neck. A real shame, as the cut is otherwise flattering and comfortable. Sending it back.

Love Patagonia products. Just didn't love the fit of this dress. Looks so smooth on the model, but not so much on me!

I am so glad that I bought this dress! It is longer than the Margot (which I love but is a little short for my 40-ish self). I do not find it tight on top and the support is fine for a casual summer dress. I have become very fond of dresses with built in bras. The halter ties so it is fully adjustable; perhaps a modification from a version in other reviews? I love it and Zappos, of course.

Fits like a junior size medium, tight in all the wrong places, plunging neckline. I usually wear a size medium in all brands and this one was either cut to be too tight or just runs very small. Too sexy for a daytime dress where I live.

This dress is really cute! I was nervous about it being cotton since I'm used to the Corinne and Morning Glory, but the stretch cotton is comfortable and seems to conform to your body well and looks really nice. I wear an XS in both my other Patagonia dresses, but ordered an S and XS in this one because the reviews said it runs small, but I found the XS worked perfectly. Peoples' complaint is that the dress is too small in the rib cage, but I have a small rib cage and shoulders and found that if I were any smaller, the straps would be set too far apart in the front, as was the case when I tried on the small. For reference, I'm 5'-5", 115 lbs with a runner's build. I'm a 32C and definitely don't need a bra with this dress, but might wear one sometimes just to look a little bigger on top. The fabric and pattern make it so if you get cold, nipples shouldn't be too much of an issue if you choose to go with no bra. Lululemon seems to provide cup inserts to hide nipples and I think it would be great if Patagonia started doing the same. I'd say that I still love the Corinne the best, but this dress is more flattering and comfortable than the Morning Glory. My only complaint is that the halter is a bit uncomfortable on the neck, but that's the case with all halters.

I have 2 of these dresses, and the halter combined with the built in bra give good support. I'm a 32D and bought a small,and it find that it looks very cute, and the length is just right. For a dress made by a outdoor wear company, it's functional and looks nice enough to wear out to dinner

I am 5'3", 120 pounds, a 34B and the size small fits perfectly, coming to the top of my knees. It is low cut but tight across the chest so there is no gaping. It is the perfect summer dress for day or night, dressed up or down.

I am 5'4, 130 lbs, and ordered the medium. It fits well and the material feels substantial but not too heavy. I am a 34C, and the top is a little revealing, but not so bad (and I am pretty modest). The color is a little lighter than it seemed in the pictures but is still pretty (I have the red). I got it as a lightweight dress to wear under my cap and gown for graduation, then go out to brunch with family, and I think it will do the trick. As always, very fast shipping.

This is a great dress! I purchased this dress after reading all of the previous reviews. I am 5'2", approximately 137 pounds, and a 36D. Louisville, Kentucky gets very hot and humid in the summer. I was looking for something that I could wear without a bra, tank top, or other gear. I hesitated after reading the other reviews, because I am not a prude, but already have enough cleavage without adding to it. The end result is that I love this dress. It is not the most comfortable because of the halter tie, but it is definitely better than wearing something else. The shelf-bra works fine for me (although I need to adjust it now and again).

Love this dress! Very comfortable and flattering. The shelf bra has good support. I'm planning on wearing this all summer, and now I'm tempted to get it in more colors.

I have the Margot dress as well. The Iliana dress is a little longer (even better length for me since I am 5'8) but fits tighter. I didn't like the pattern I chose very much and will try a different pattern. I am a size 4-6, the small version was tight, but okay, but will order a medium as well to compare fit. It's a true, adjustable halter (big knot in your neck) which some might like and some might not. I think I would sew it together when adjusted to the right fit, or maybe use velcro.

Classic summer dress I will wear for years! The fabric is more substantial than I usually like, but it works for the cut of the dress. The dress is form fitting through the rib cage and has a nice a-line cut to the top of the knee. Extremely flattering for all shapes! The dress runs a tad small - I wear a size 8-10 and the large fits perfectly.

Love this dress! The fabric is soft, the colors are more muted than in picture shown. Great fit, true to size. Plan on ordering more of these in different colors for summer. Shelf bra is a plus for those hot summer days.

5'6, 138 lbs (a good chunk of that is muscle), and medium fits almost perfectly (a little loose right below the bust, but I'm not complaining). I am a 34C, and the band below the bust is skin tight but not terribly uncomfortable. There might be an issue of some err exposure wearing it out, will have to see. From trying it on, I absolutely adore it and am very happy with my purchase.

This is a great dress for either daily activities or for dressing up with a wrap, jewelry, and some pretty shoes. I was concerned that I'd have to wear a strapless bra with this but since it has the built-in shelf bra I was fine. The double layer in that area is thick enough that my private areas are well, kept private! I felt both feminine and upbeat although I am 50 years old. I didn't feel the dress was inappropriate for me. Thank you once again Zappos. I'm becoming convinced that your employees have to wear and judge some particular products and put that in the product description. That would be great for me; to meet someone in Zappos who could tell me why they liked the product. Wouldn't that be fun? I know customers rate the product but I'd also like to hear it from someone at Zappos since they probably have zillions of products to choose from for their own personal purchase choices.

Very well made dress and quite cute. It's very low-cut though, and even though the neck is a halter, you can't really tie it tighter to make it less low-cut.

I love the colors of the dress and the pattern is perfect for a tropical resort. I can't imagine wearing this dress anywhere else, though, certainly not in the city. Furthermore, it squashed my breasts into pancakes. Definitely not for the large breasted woman! Still, it's a great dress for the right woman at the right occasion.
