Love this dress! It's a head-turner. Very comfortable and sexy at the same time...a perfect vacation dress. It can be worn to casual daytime activities and easily transition into dinner. I own it in more than one color. You can't go wrong with this dress!

This dress is great! I have both the black and the pink color. I am 5'4", 135ish, and 36C+, just the right amount of coverage on top and it is an a-line so it gives you a nice silhouette yet doesn't hug the body.

This is a great dress. I am a 30C/D so I have a hard time finding dresses that fit snugly around my rib cage. This one stays up and the shelf bra and halter provide enough support that I do not need to wear a bra, which is very unusual for me. The length is good and the cut is very slimming, even when I have eaten a lot. It is comfortable and the halter does not hurt my neck. Best of all, you cannot tell it is Patagonia. I am not outdoorsy at all and have never shopped for dresses at outdoor stores but I accompanied a friend into a Patagonia store and found this. I do not know how it washes or holds up over time but at this price, I may buy more colors. It is so cute, and fits right off the rack, with no alterations!

I really wanted to like this dress. It fits very nice around the waist/torso. My only issue is that it is very tight around the chest (almost to the point I cannot breath well) and the halter can only be tied to where it has no support, or too tight for comfort. I am 5'2" 115 pounds and ordered the small. It fits well but does not feel that great after about an hour.

I ordered this dress for my trip and has not let me down. I ordered size Large being a 5' 160 pound person. The fabric is perfect for traveling and the fit is perfect. I wanted to change from shorts or pants on this trip and this little dress is what I was looking for. It leaves a little exposed on the top but nothing a cami will not fix if you do not want to expose a little cleavage. The hem goes down to cover my knees being a petite myself but not too long. It is also perfect wear for any summer occasion.

I love this dress! It's well made and fits like a glove. I love the built in bra and the material is super comfortable.

I received compliments on the very first wearing, and it is super comfortable. I, like other reviewers, would appreciate a bit more coverage on top (I am a 36D, and this is a bit flashy). It sort of slid down my back a bit during the day, but I figured that is because it feels more like cotton than some of my other summer dresses. A higher spandex content might keep it in place better. That said, it is super cute, very flattering, and I cannot wait to wear it again!

Love this dress. After trying on a million different LBD's for my best friends wedding this was a last minute order, four days before the big day. It was the perfect Maid of Honor dress. Great fit, super comfy and flattering.

I love the style of this dress, it is very cute. I am 5'6", 36B, 127 lbs and tried the small. The top was hard to get on and was way too tight. Also the neckline was a bit too revealing. I do not know if the medium would be better.

Beautiful dress if you don't mind showing off your cleavage! I am slim but busty (32DD) and usually find that shelf bras are too loose in the band. This one fit fine in the size S, and I love the wide-set halter straps (very flattering!) but it was a little too low cut for me to wear for daytime. Just a little more fabric in front and it would be perfect. I generally wear a size 4-6 and found the S fit well except for the skimpy bodice. Going up a size didn't help as it was still very low-cut, plus the underbust band on the shelf bra was then too loose to offer support. I loved the print and the style otherwise; wish Patagonia would design a dress that a woman who is larger than a B cup could wear.

Great dress, though order up a size. I am a fairly slim, athletic 5'9" with a swimmer's build (more broad shoulders/chest) and I have a long torso -- I ended up with the large. The large hit a few inches above the knee and definitely shrinks when you wash it. The bust area is a little skimpy and I cannot imagine it has much support -- works great for my small A-B cup -- but hits more as a "demi-cup". Overall it is a great dress to wear around town and at the beach.

This dress is so flattering! Fits pretty true to size, I'm normally a 2, I weigh about 125 and am 5'4 and I bought the XS. The only sizing issue I had was the built in bra under the bust, the elastic was very tight on me, so maybe go with the Small. Super cute and very flattering though, highly recommend.

Really cute dress and very comfortable. However, if you are larger than a B cup you will be spilling out on top. Would look great on someone with a smaller bust.

I am about 30 pounds overweight with a big stomach. This dress is flattering and so comfortable! Very cute tropical print and you can dress it up or down. Soft fabric. Not too low cut in the front. Highly recommend, especially if you're carrying around a few extra pounds.

This is a really great summer dress--the fabric is perfect--not heavy or clingy but not flimsy either. The print is pretty and the halter fits well. I took it on a trip and it travels nicely and went from day to evening easily.

This dress is much cuter on the model! I'm 5'2 and 110 pounds and this dress squished my chest so tight it looked like my breasts were bound (I'm a 32B btw) and the bottom was cut so loose it was unflattering.

I have had other versions of this dress from Patagonia and this one is as good as the others. Not as low cut as the one from a couple years ago, which is good. Excellent for hot weather. Medium fits 5'5" 125 lbs A cup perfectly.

Really cute and comfortable. Ordered the medium and it was form fitting, but looked good. I'm 5'10", 145 pounds. Won't put this in the dryer.

I ordered this and the Vitaliti strappy dress, both in small. (I am 5'7, 140 lbs, 34B) While the Vitaliti fit like a DREAM (but could have used more bust support), this dress was fabulously supportive and flattering up top, but too tight and clingy for me around the middle. (No way to hide the post-baby bulges.) This dress was markedly more fitted than the Vitaliti. If I was in better shape, I'd have kept it, as I think it's the more flattering and interesting of the two dresses. For me, the length was perfect and just above the knee. Any shorter and it would have felt too young. (I'm 40!)

This dress is very cute and easy to wear! I am pretty consistently a "medium" but I am a 34D so sometimes the tops of dresses just aren't big enough so based on the other reviews I ordered it in both M and L. The L was fine but not as snug around the torso as I would like. The M is definitely a bit revealing but not overly and so great to not have to wear a bra (another thing about the L, band around the built in bra was a bit loose too). Falls just above my knee (I'm 5'7"). I thought it was a little too long but due to the revealing nature of the top and the fullness of the skirt (and my age!). I think the length is appropriate. I got tons of compliments!

I love this dress but I did think it was just a little long for a fun halter dress. So I had it taken up a few inches.

This is my new favorite dress! The silhouette is elegant and very flattering. I was a bit worried the fabric would be too 'athletic,' but it is a perfect cotton knit, not too flimsy and with the perfect amount of stretch. I am also pleasantly surprised at the amount of support the built-in shelf bra has. I am a 32D and even I could go bra-less in this dress. That's enough reason for me to want this dress in every color! Well-made and worth the price.

The dress is very nice, I ordered a small and the top is very snug. If I get a medium the dress will be entirely to big so I would caution those with any bust. Because I may need to send this back.
