I liked everything about this shoe, except one thing. The buckle is located almost at the back of the foot. Very difficult to reach in order to fasten and unfasten. Had to return the shoes, regretfully.

I have a ton of Keen shoes and they usually go from the box to my feet with no break in needed. I particularly like their chunkier style (more foot protection.) But when I saw the Emerald City Sandal, I liked the dressier look. They have the usual Keen comfort that everybody loves. The big problem is the strap...and I've notice this on several of Keen's dressier sandals. The strap needs to be longer! Some of us ladies need extra for our not-so-slender-anymore ankles. If you have to go to the hole on the end of the strap, there is barely enough strap to tuck under the buckle. C'mon Keen, a little more strap please!

Since Earth no longer makes the gladiator sandal which I fell in love with I turned to Keen. This sandal started to pinch my toe bed where my pinky toe is. Also, for $90, I expected a nicer looking shoe. I just don't think this is worth the money. If they would have been $60 I probably would have kept them and broke them in.

These sandals really disappointed me. They do not have the Keen feel. They are too cushy and you slide around in them. They look pretty but don't try any real walking around in them.

Finally a sandal that has half sizes without any horrible Velcro, wish Velcro was never invented. I'm a 7.5 average width, but these are not roomy, so disappointing for Keens. My toes were squished in the top strap.
