I hated to return this sandal. I already have this style in black & I love it. I ordered because I thought the color looked like a rusty red, but in reality it is a very deep dark red. Beautiful color but did not match with the items I had in my wardrobe. You will not be disappointed in the fit & comfort of this shoe.

These are beautifully crafted and comfortable sandals; wish they came in a wide: I'd buy a dozen! I even went up a size to see if that would make a difference, but my foot was still over the side. Too bad because they are gorgeous!

Super comfy! Wore these around Chicago for 3 days. Snug on your ankles for great support.

I purchased these sandals to it the role of nice-looking black sandals I could wear to work and walk at least a mile in. I was hoping they would also work as travel sandals (meaning I could walk at least 6 miles a day in them). I've had them for a month and can say that they are good work sandals, but I wouldn't take the. As primary travel shoes. My main issue is that the part of shoe my foot sits on is rather slick. This means that my foot moves around a bit with every step. If the sandals had a slightly grippy footbed, they would probably have met my travel requirements. As they are, they are good shoes for work and casual walking. They also look cute.

Cute shoe, good arch support, and very comfortable. Sometimes one of the two straps on the front keeps sliding over to the right, so I keep adjusting it, but other than that, it's a great shoe!

This shoe fit in my normal size, and I liked it, but the ankle strap was so short it was hard to buckle, and it didn't easily slip over my heel. I swapped it for a half size longer, and with a little tugging, can pull it on without undoing the buckle. So far, it hasn't stretched out. As another reviewer said, the slate black is brown. That was the color I wanted, so that was ok. Just wonder why they would call it slate black.

Right foot bed appeared to have been wet at toe area. If shoes had fit well, I would probably have kept them. Straps were too long, and I couldn't make them fit snuggly around my ankle.

I ordered these in black and another color. They were both very comfortable, but the black pair were definitely shorter than the other color. My daughter who wears a 1/2 -1 size smaller than me kept the black pair and I kept the other color.

Shoe was very comfortable. Sole and leather footbed of shoe were nice. I had to return the shoes because the front of the strap that goes across the toes was pulled up along the front edge instead of laying flat. It seemed to happen because I had to tighten the buckles at the ankle down to the tightest hole. Otherwise the edge did not seem to pull up like that. My foot is medium width, except for my heels and ankles are narrow. It makes it difficult to find dress shoes sometimes as many medium width shoes are too big in the heel but the narrow width is way too tight around the ball of my foot. If you don't have narrower heels/ankles then the problem I had with this sandal probably won't be an issue for you.

This particular pair of Keen sandals has a slight problem! The right sandal's buckle is on the outside, however the left sandal's buckle is on the inside! Did not realize this until we were already on our trip. Anyone else find this mistake? The sandals fit nicely and very comfortable, just look a a bit strange.

I have flat skinny feet that are wide at the toes and needed a comfortable and supportive sandal that I could wear all day chasing my 3 young children and still be able to move at the end of the day. I can dress these up or down and they still look nice. The toes are nicely secure, but not too tight and not too loose. I like that my baby toe is completely enclosed, so I won't hit it on things and my feet don't slide forward. They are a little loose on my feet, but as the day goes on and my feet swell a little, they are not too tight, so it's perfect. I ordered a 9 1/2 (I'm usually a 9 1/2 but sometimes a 10) and they fit perfectly. I fit into them on the last hole (smallest), so for someone with more narrow feet, these may not work. I don't think they look clunky or bulky at all and they are so comfortable. The straps do not dig into my feet or pinch at all and the insole is very soft and my feet don't stick to it when they sweat. I don't get that flip-flop foot slapping that I have with other pairs. The first pair I got had something wrong with the ankle strap. It kept sliding around my ankle so the buckle would dig into my foot at the back. Zappos was amazing with exchanging them super quickly, even though I got rid of my original box and everything. The replacement pair fits and I have worn them all day for about a week now and absolutely love them. The slate black is a darker brown color. These are worth the extra money.

Comfy, no rubbing of straps. Although the footbed is a bit sticky I hot humid weather. A suede footbed would make these sandals perfect! Which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Absolutely loved how they looked, wonderful soft padding yet supportive - perfect (medium gray) color. But one squished loudly when I tried them at home, totally unacceptable even though they felt more comfortable than anything I have tried on in ages. Also too roomy in width and height for my slimmer type of foot. If your feet are wider or you have some height in your instep, I would highly recommend ordering some and hoping you don't get a noisy pair. If you do, Zappos return policy to the rescue.

Really nice looking sandal. However, it was too narrow for my wide toe box. I didn't even feel like it would stretch enough to be comfortable in the long run, so they were returned.

The style is a casual cute. They are wide enough for my wide medium foot, but the length was accurate. The arch support is pretty low. They just felt odd. You don't know if you don't try. Zappos shoes are always worth a try and the customer service is the best.

Loved the color, comfort, style, but they're 1/2 size too large, and buckle was awkward to secure, and no elastic in that strap to allow me to slip my foot into the sandal after they've been buckled.

Really cute sandal, very comfortable. Ran large for me (size 9). I didn't like the fact that the buckle around the ankle was closer to the back of my leg, making it difficult to buckle. Probably would have kept this pair if it had fit me better.

Really pretty and comfortable. Although the foot fits well, the straps are loose over top of foot. I think the leather stretched a lot. Be careful of sizes. May want to try a 1/2 size smaller.

These are cute sandals. I purchased them in the gray and thought they would go with everything -- a bit dressier than my other Keens but I found the buckle to be very awkward to work with. I decided I didn't want to spend my summer trying to buckle and unbuckle my sandals.

I really love the style and comfort but they turn the bottom of my feet black. I took them on a trip for the past 10 days and didn't have many shoe options so was constantly washing my feet. I hope this is a new shoe issue otherwise I will have to return.

Really cute, sturdy looking sandals. Unfortunately they didn't fit me in either of the sizes I tried -- they were either too small or too large.

I bought these shoes because I needed some sandals for walking in Europe and had heard that Keen made comfortable shoes with good arch support. Arch support is extremely important for me because I have very high arches and normally wear custom orthotics. However, I didn't want to wear the normal Keen sandal because frankly I think they are really ugly, especially for wearing in Paris. I chose this sandal because it was better looking than the other Keen sandals I've seen. However, the arch support was not great at all; after walking a couple miles, my arches were sore and I had to switch back to my Keen Presidios for the remainder of the trip. I also thought these shoes were a little narrow; I have very wide feet but my Presidios fit great, and I thought these sandals would be wide enough as well-- but they weren't. Overall, I am disappointed because I thought I had finally found a good looking sandal with good arch support-- but I guess even Keen is unable to achieve that.

These shoes had decent heel support, but not enough arch support for me, and the ankle strap hit in an odd place on my ankle. I will be returning the sandals.

Alas, such a cute shoe. But not a lot of support, so it won't make it through a work day. I will sadly be returning.
