This is my first pair of Keen sandals although I have many pairs of other Keens. These are very comfortable and soft to wear. Did not have to break these in, just wear them. Was not disappointed in any way with these sandals. Wish I would have bought them last year!

Just as other posters said, they were comfortable right out of the box. I walked all day at Disney world and not a single blister or raw skin. Color is deep brown. Highly recommend.

The color Slate Black is a neutral brown that goes with anything. This the most comfortable sandal ever made. Soft flexible leather that takes no breaking in and is so smooth inside it never rubs, in yet doesn't stretch out and stays looking good. Quality insole with what seems like a firm gel filling, good support. Flattering to feet.

I love these sandals so much that I now own three colors. They are comfortable, wide enough in heat, but not sloppy. The look is great with skirts, shorts, even dresses. I have a high arch and these sandals have just enough support for me!

These are great shoes. I ordered them in two colors. They make your feet look good too even if you have a bunion and have wide feet too.

Wow, what a great shoe. Feels like I am walking on pillows. I have a bunion that is nicely camouflaged and a high arch that prefers a higher heel. Thank you Keen!

Out of the box, onto my feet and instantly favorites! These are the shoes I would take for stomping around old cities in Europe.

This is a very comfortable sandal. I also love the style, I can wear it with a dressy outfit in the summer but also for everyday bumming around. I have narrow feet and the fit was great for me.

I am a mom of 3 young children and was looking for a cute, but very comfortable sandal that I could wear all day, but that could still be dressed up if needed. I got the slate black, which is a nice neutral darker brown, and it goes with everything. My narrow and flat, but wide at the toes, feet feel secure in these sandals and I can easily wear them all day without my feet or back hurting. I normally wear running shoes all the time because I need the comfort and support and these sandals are the same as wearing tennies for me. They go great with jeans or a nice skirt and do not look like grandma shoes. I love them. I ordered and pair number 1 kept having the ankle strap slide around so the buckle was digging into the back of one foot. The other was fine. Zappos quickly swapped them out. Then, a couple months later, on pair number 2, two of the straps on the inside of the foot that are sewn into the footbed started coming out, as if they weren't sewn in well enough. Zappos refunded my money promptly and I didn't even have to return the faulty shoes. Since Zappos didn't have my size in these, unfortunately, the lady on the phone told me a few other sites that did and I had to order from there. Zappos definitely has my future business based on how awesome their customer service is. I would be willing to spend a little more if I know that they are there with any problems. Love these sandals and expect them to last a long time. Zappos is the best to order from!

I love Keens, I have 8 pairs and think they are the most comfortable shoes around. I have always had foot issues and am on my feet most of the day so comfort is a huge priority for me. I wanted a pair of sandals that was a little dressier, not quite as sporty as my other Keens sandals, but still with the great Keens comfort and support. These sandals really delivered! First of all, they are so attractive (although, the slate black color is really a very pretty brown), my husband even remarked on it and he never notices shoes. Second, they are so comfortable. The first day I got them, I put them on and wore them all day, no blisters, no sore feet or legs. The leather is so soft and the sole, is very supportive without being clumpy. They fit a little loose on your foot, but I like that in the hot weather. This shoe is a win-win!

This sandal has turned out to be one of the best in my closet! I liked the comfort of the black ones I'd purchased so much, I bought a brown pair as well. From day 1 they were comfortable - soft leather and comfy foot bed. On my summer Italy trip we walked every day, all day (in incredible heat), and they were perfect! I've had bunion surgery on both feet, and never once experienced a problem with these sandals. They provided adequate support. They work for skirts, dresses, shorts and pants. Sometimes Keens can get a bit stinky due to the material of the foot bed (which washes out in the machine), but that never happened with these. They have stretched out a bit, which I actually like. I do so love my Keen sandals!

Love this shoe - for once, I didn't have to break in a sandal at the expense of the skin on my feet. Love the style and color. As always - great service from Zappos!

Oh my goodness! These will be my shoes for life! I bought 10 pairs of tennis shoes and returned them all because they hurt my feet after a mile on the treadmill! I wore these every day traveling through Israel and Italy for 2 weeks. No problem! Normally, my feet are killing me and I spend my vacation visiting every shoe store in town trying to find something to solve my foot problems! They understand that not everyone has an arch! Flat footed people need shoes that don't feel like you are walking on a lemon or pencils on the sides of your feet. No arches here! I like the suede bottoms which keep your feet from sweating, these are also very cute!

These sandals are really comfortable, even with the first wear. I had to walk several miles the first time I wore them and there was no rubbing or pain. They look really cute too!

I loved these shoes right out of the box! I will take them to disney world this fall. My feet are a tad bit on the wide side, and these fit great!

I love these shoes. Comfort but still city class. More importantly I lobe zappo. They make shopping easy. An item I returned was promptly refunded and they osid return shipping. What a deal.

I absolutely loved the look of these shoes! Very stylish! Fit perfectly on my right foot and felt really good. Unfortunately my left foot is slightly larger and has a bunion. I couldn't even get my foot all the way in, so have to return. Very disappointed.

These sandals fit well and were extremely comfortable right out of the box, but on the first wearing the padded footbed cover material on one sandal inexplicably "folded" to create a small ridge under my toes. It's not uncomfortable enough to affect wearability, but it is a mildly annoying defect.

These fit well, were comfortable and looked great on my feet. The deal breaker for me was the buckle: There was no way to slip into these shoes without having to fasten the buckle each time, which I found awkward and thus an annoying time-waster. Construction quality is moderate. The stitching and piece alignment are less than perfect. For the price, they might be acceptable.

I bought these shoes for a 3-month trip to South America and I was very happy with them. I got a little bit of rubbing at first, but nothing major and it went away. I like the style, they feel a bit dressier than your standard walking sandals but still have good cushioning.
