I love these shoes! I've had Keen sandals in the past but getting small rocks & sand in my shoes while walking my dogs drove me CRAZY! This style feels like a sandal but protects like a closed shoe. No rocks! No sand! Not a lot of support so I use athletic insoles.

I have been a fan of Keen shoes for years, and continue to appreciate the great support of their shoes. The McKenzie is light weight and the mesh is great at keeping small rocks and sand out. I recently sprained my ankle, but still find the McKenzie stable and supportive. I use these shoes hiking, at the beach and generally all around.

I bought these shoes since I wanted a sandal-like shoe that would fit my orthotics. These are perfectly breathable and my orthotics fit in the shoes great. These are cut more true to size than Keen's hiking boots. My feet measure a 6.5, but I bought a size 7 so I have room for my orthotics. I also own Keen hiking boots which are a size 7.5. Like all Keens, they have a very roomy toe box.

I like this shoe so far. The mesh prevents those small (and irritating!) rocks from getting under your foot, yet it is light, cool & dries quickly. A very good rafting/boating shoe, especially if you are in and out of sandy/rocky soil. It runs big by at least 1/2 a size, however.

Great shoe! Nice and wide at the toe and wonderful support in the arch. I work three 12hr shifts in row and these shoes didn't bother me once and my feet weren't tired and there was nice and cool (d/t mesh ventilation on top). They are very lightweight also. Walked the beach this morning in them and they were perfect for leisure too. Thank you so much Keen. Always happy with your products and you Zappos for amazing customer service.

I bought these for my wife they are her first Keens and she loves them, So much so that she ordered another pair of Keens for work. As always love Zappos and love Keen.

Love this shoe. I had a similar Keen shoe severals years ago and wore them out but I couldn't bear to throw them out because I could not find a similar style. Finally! I like the darker color and the blue trim adds a little zip. These have a nice, wide toe box so if you need a wide with, this is it.Because I have some foot issues and need room (sometimes require an orthodic,) I look for that toe room. I think there is a little better support than in my original pair but I could walk long distances in those as well.

This is my second pair of these 'adventure' shoes. I wear them to kayak, hike and when I travel. I find them more comfortable than a sneaker and can wear them with or without socks. I am able to machine wash them as well which is nice.

Love these! The usual comfort, versatility and style you get from Keen. They are lightweight but have a sole which can handle rough terrain. The mesh outer keeps your feet nice and cool in warmer temps. And I love that the toggle closure will never come untied like a conventional lace. True to size, great color too. What more could you ask for?

Bought these as a replacement pair for ones I have used and abused. Love this shoe; however, the new ones seem to run a tad smaller than my originals.

Fabulous shoe. I love Keen shoes. Nice wide toe box! Couldn't find it locally. Guess it's last year's model. But Zappos had it! First time I've shopped Zappos. Speedy delivery. Always heard great things about Zappos. Now I know it's true.

These are awesome shoes! My daughter and I each knew immediately upon trying them on that they were the shoe for us for hiking in hawaii. I have worn them to work too however! No real break-in required. I love how the tongue is one with the shoe instead of drifting from side to side. These are true to size, a little on the wider side, but I can tighten the laces up and be just fine. My daughter suffers from gout, so the wide toe box is particularly awesome for her.

These are my new favorite shoes. They are comfortable and lightweight. They are also easy to get off and on.

Exactly what I was looking for for our trip to Costa Rica. I wanted protection for my feet when hike through the rain forest. Once I put my own arch support in this shoe, it felt perfect

I never write reviews...but this shoe has been amazing for me. I work outside in all types of terrain including forested wetlands, hammocks, mangrove islands, beaches, springs, marsh, on boats, etc. and this shoe is so light and comfortable. I don't have to worry where I'm going when I put these on in the morning because I know they'll get me there and back! I've had my shoes almost 2 years now and they don't rub blisters on my feet like I've experienced with most shoes when wet. And I love that there is some protection for my toes. As others have mentioned there's not a lot of arch support, but you have to keep in mind this is a shoe that is designed to be in and out of water without getting bogged down. Plus no crazy colors so I can wear it to work!

Great shoes, have received many compliments on the look of them. They fit my foot perfectly, and are very light in weight!

Bought these for a month-long camping trip and they were the perfect shoe! Great in hot weather, easy to slip on and off, perfect for trekking through mud, sand, rocky trails and rivers, and even super easy to clean. These Keens are lightweight and super comfortable, the only Keens I tried on (out of about 6 different styles) that weren't heavy. Well-worth the price, I would definitely buy them again.

Great comfortable shoe! I love Keens and this shoe is just as wonderful as the others I own. They are very light weight and the wide toe box is always a plus...I have 3 pairs of these shoes in different colors.

These are great shoes! I have wide feet so Keens are always my go-to shoes, but these are exceptionally nice. Additional bonus is that they fit comfortably over my very high arches. These are very light-weight and flexible, great water shoes even though they look more like hiking shoes. I was able to wear them without socks the first time I went out in them. Spent hours kayaking, they were wet most of the time, and my feet were always comfortable. Also work great for all-around walking shoes. Keens tend to run small but I found these fit exactly at my regular shoe size.

This is my first pair of Keens and I really like them. They are very stylish in an outdoorsy, hikerish way. They are a wide shoe, maybe not the best for someone with a narrow foot, but it works for my average one. I gave them four stars for comfort, as they are a bit scratchy inside; I'm not sure how that will turn out when I try to wear them all day. I wasn't sure what to expect about the arch support, the reviews are very contradictory. That said, they don't have much extra arch support, just what you'd expect from an average shoe, but not athletic shoe level. The footbed is spongy and comfortable, I don't find it hard as some claimed. Also the foot box is roomy, which I like, but the whole shoe felt like my size as normal. I bought them for a vacation in Colorado and I might do a little hiking in them. I think they will do nicely for my purposes.

After searching for over a year to find a comfortable shoe for my uncomfortable toes I have finally found the perfect fit. Wide toe room, leaving the rest of the shoe "normal" fitting. I walk my dog daily and I am so happy with the comfort of these shoes I have just ordered a second pair. Free shipping and Zippy Zappos delivery!

I really like this shoe. Light weight with good ventilation. Great for short hikes. Not great for dusty conditions given the mesh exterior. Sturdy soles for rock but also good flexibility. Good sole protection. Dry quickly. Easy on and off.

I bought this shoe to wear with shorts and capris at work. I am on my feet all day and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. Like being barefoot but better. They are very lightweight and cool. Other reviewers said they didn't have enough support and they aren't meant for heavy duty hiking but for indoors, light hiking or the water they are fine. I was so happy with them that I bought some for my mom and dad, 2 kids and my boyfriend also bought a pair. True to size. I wear a 9 and a half and they fit perfectly. Nice and roomy in the toe area. Great delivery from Zappos as always.

I read other reviews and was able to try these on locally, but not in the color I wanted. I did order a 1/2 size smaller and they fit great. I love that the heel is enclosed so rocks don't get in. Great and comfortable!
