Even though I was going to wear these without socks, they were too short. I like the style, but have to return them.

Would have kept them but toes touched the front of shoe, material is all man made and had the plastic/synthetic smell to them. The style and look were really cute.

They are nice and loose, but they are hot and your feet will sweat. They are very light and the sole is great. But not for me.

I really wanted to like these shoes. My doctor told me I needed to strengthen my arches so I thought I would ease into the barefoot trend by wearing these. They looked cute enough for everyday wear. I got them and they did not look cute like the picture. They looked like Frankenstein shoes on my feet and felt like wearing empty tissue boxes. They just felt weird and boxy everywhere but the toe box. That felt really short and rubbed against the top of my toes. I tried two sizes and they both felt the same. Oh well, the search continues.

These shoes are built for feet that angle down from the big toe to the little toe. If your toes, like mine, are more straight across they are unwearable. The shoe slopes down at the toes so bang into my toes and will cause blisters and lost toe nails. Too bad, bc otherwise they would be comfortable! But in my case, I can't wear them and need to send them back.

I have high arches, and I wear arch supportive shoes. These have arch support, but it was weird, kind of intense. The strap did not work well across my bony feet. I wear a 9, on the narrow side and these shoes just looked like big ugly barges on my feet. They are really unattractive and the gray not a good gray at all.

These shoes changed my life. I will not go back to a regular pair of running shoes ever again. These shoes are adorable, and perfect for travel: they are light, look great, go with typical clothes, and excellent for throwing on to go for a jog. I bought them for a cruise to run the track and wear in water sports, and they are perfection. I am typically a size 7½ - 8. I ordered 7½. They do fit perfectly, however, when I run, they rub my footbed and make a blister. If I wear socks, it is not a problem. I have not decided if I needed a size larger to correct this, or if I need to wear them tighter. All the same, the style, function, support, and utility outweighs everything. Things are perfect for beach running to street jogging.

Very comfortable and light. Shoe runs about a half size larger than I normally wear. I ordered a size 8 and I really could have used a 7 1/2 in this shoe, but it will do well with socks as I'll be wearing it at work. I can stand on my feet all day with no problem. I love this shoe and am going to order it in a different color!

These are fantastic! I'm a barefoot kind of person, and these are definitely the next best thing - only maybe better because your feet feel free and can breathe, yet the vibram sole protects you feet while still allowing you to feel the topography of the earth beneath you. And they are very cute with shorts, capris or long pants. I highly recommend them.

I love these shoes! I find them very comfortable for walking. I am on my feet a lot for work and really like the feel of these. I have plantar fasciitis and have bought many different shoes without success. I can wear these and be pain free.

Ordered these shoes because I have plantar fasciitis (severe foot pain) and wanted something for summer that would give better support than a flip-flop. These are great shoes with good arch support, but not as much cushion on the bottom as other Merrell shoes. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase!

Love love love these! Cute, comfortable, easy to pack. I've worn them to work, to trade shoes where I've stood on concrete floors all day, and to wander around the state fair all day as well. It's hard to convince people that the "lack" of support is actually better, but it really is. I have no back pain and no foot pain when I wear these, even standing all day. They're great for walking and I think I'd even do a light duty hike in them.

Found this shoe for my sister who is developmentally disabled and has feet problems, crossover toe and bunions. Foot doctor refused to operate. This shoe works great for her. Before this shoe she would ask for shoes every time I would take her shopping. She loves these shoes. Not sure what I will do when they quit making them.

I am generally a true 7.5, but the 7.5 in these was at least a half size too big. Otherwise they seemed great, light, versatile, and "barefoot" style. I indicated "no arch support" but they're not supposed to! Going to try again, sadly in another color.

Love these shoes -- good for walking, weather, legs, feet and posture. Roomy fit. They even look good! Many compliments. Bought a red pair and a black pair. Note: they run about 1/2 size large.

These shoes feel wonderful straight out of the box! I usually wear a size 8, but had to reorder a 7.5 as they definitely run large.

I have worn these shoes almost everyday for a year doing everything imaginable and I love them love them. I really love them. I go barefoot a lot so these shoes feel great and my feet never hurt. I just always go! I am 61 and they look great with my yoga pants and do everything I do.

I have wide feet and wear size 8 sneakers. For dress shoes I wear either a 7 or 7½W. With that being said, it took a couple of exchanges to find the right size (Thank you, Zappos!). I ended up with a 7 (these are the lavender ones). These are definitely wide, and I love it! They are very comfortable. I broke these in first to get use to them before going on to New York City for my trip. When you first wear them, the heel can rub a little bit. You will need to fiddle with the strap to get it to a point where you know it will be comfortable for you. Merrell.com has a training guide - if you are new to barefoot. The site said that to wash them I just toss them into the washer and then let them air dry. After wearing them a lot, it started to get dirty on the inside and even smelly (even though it mentioned they had that micro stuff on them). So I tossed them into the washer. They came out a little bit cleaner (the inside is still dirty) and smell better.

I love my Merrell Barefoot Pure Glove shoe...so much so that I have 3 pair of the mary janes and 2 pair of the lace-ups! I recently had an accident and broke my leg. When it came time to get up and start partial weight bearing, I tried different shoes and the ones that worked the best (they are light and hug your foot nicely) were my Barefoot Pure Glove shoes. I decided I had to have more so I came straight to Zappos where I found the same wonderful shoe at a great price so I bought 2 pairs! Prior to my accident, these were my go to shoes anytime I had to walk a lot, for exercising and just hanging around the house. Unlike my bulky sneakers, they have a slim sole shoe that gives as much support and feels like you aren't wearing anything! Best of all, Zappos got them to me within a few days! Now I can change my shoe color every day! My physical therapist loved them and inquired about them! You may want to order a half size smaller. I'm a 9.5 and the first time I tried them on at the store I had to get a 9. What an awesome shoe!

I really like these shoes. They look cute with multiple outfits. Two down sides: I feel like my feet get hot sometimes and the price ( unfortunately, minimal shoe does not equal minimal price). I would order them again though.

Love. This may be the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever worn. Can be worn with socks or without. I have worn them all winter using black socks to make them have more of a shoe look. I will take the socks off come spring. My only (small) gripe is that the velcro doesn't cover fully. If they fixed that, this would be the absolute perfect casual shoe.

These are great! I am one who would be barefoot at all times if possible and generally slip my shoes off as soon as I walk in the door but I find that I tend to leave these on.

I bought these after adapting to my Vibram 5 fingers for running. I've always been an arch support and padding person but I'm now sold on the benefits of less. These shoes fit comfortably, with a generous toe box. The velcro strap allows them to fit just right around the foot. They're well-made. After 6 months of regular wear, they still look fine, and I'm shopping for more. They'd look more elegant if the strap were color-matched to the shoe, but otherwise they're a reasonable and subtle minimalist shoe.

Comfortable natural feel. So far I have worn it for walking and I like the barefoot feel. It seems a little wide (M) because I do not wear this with socks. I have the lavender which is a blue/lavender and very pretty.

Shoes are comfortable and cute, although they look even more "sporty" in person. Stylish for exercise shoes, but wouldn't pass as daytime casual. Very comfortable (as a barefoot shoe), but I found that they ran large. I'm a 9.5 in most shoes, and I might take an 8.5 or 9 in these.
