Good lightweight boots for daily wear. There's nothing spectacular or flashy about the design, which is great if you're not into that sort of thing. These boots have solid soles and good, but odd, arch support. While the arch support is unusually high, it's also narrow, which makes it feel like it's only supporting the highest part of the arch. It takes a little getting used to. And while these boots are easy to clean because they're machine washable, they're also completely not waterproof. Anything other than a slight drizzle leads to wet socks. As for color, the brown is very warm, with distinct purple undertones in the right light. I mostly wear mine with blue jeans, but anyone planning to wear them with brownish slacks might find them hard to match properly.

While I agree with the reviewer who compared these to bedroom slippers, the heel cup is so supportive and stabilizing that I find I walk straighter and have had absolutely no foot pain whatsoever. So there is arch support, but more from the support of the heel. They won\'t be warm enough to wear in the winter, but they are perfect otherwise.

After much, much searching for a vegan shoe, I have settled on the L8. It is incredibly comfortable, very supportive of my high arches, and delightfully light-weight. While I'm not crazy about its looks, I am grateful that Arcopedico at least offers a plain black boot. Thanks Arcopedico! As a new vegan, I have been amazed by the lack of flattering options available to vegan shoe shoppers! I would like this shoe more if there was a defined toe box that would help it to look less like a slipper. But because they are so dang comfortable, I'm accepting them as they are.

Great arch support and very comfortable though I haven't worn them outside the house because I may return them. They feel a bit short in the front and the toe box is quite flat. The material stretches so I don't feel pinched but I'm afraid my big toe will wear a hole in the shoe (I've done it to leather tennis shoes with a lot of wear). For this price I'd want the shoe to last. I'm ordering the L19 to see if the size really is different. These 38 were sized at 7-7.5 US and the L19 38 is described as 7.5-8 US. Don't know why there is a difference in the US sizing...guess I'll find out if they really are different. I also think they are a nice looking boot and the fabric has the look and feel of really soft suede (I ordered the brown). Don't know how warm they would be out in the cold weather.

These are the best and most comfortable booties out there. I ordered mine for a trip to Paris. They are made of all vegan materials and only weigh a few OUNCES and fit absolutely true to size for me. I am a true US5 or UK3 or EU35 abandoned these are plenty big enough for socks. The Lytex material is breathable, water resistant (I sprayed them with a waterproof spray just in case), amazingly soft and feminine. I got the black suede and ordered the grey today! Zappos is am amazing retailer and I don't say that lightly. They got the shoes to me in a day! E replaced with your own orthotic if need be.FOR COMPARISON, (I wish that I had seen a comparison between the L9 and the L19 before I ordered them lol.) THE L8 BOOTIE HAS A NARROW SHAFT AND NO RUSHING. THERE IS NO RUSHING ON THE SIDE OF THE L8. THE L19, ON THE OTHER HAND, THE L19 has a RUSHED "LEATHER" SHAFT AND IT IS 1.5 " SHORTER SHAFT. I GOT THE L19 AND THE L8. I AM RETURNING THE L19 and exchanging it for another L8. It seems to me that the L19 runs a bit looser than the L8. I love shoes and these are a practical addition to my minimal wardrobe. I like that they are vegan as I am an environmental scientist and need to walk my talk. Order either one and you will not be sorry. Great arch support as well. Btw, I sent Zappos an email thanking them for their cheerful help and they responded with a PERSONAL, NOT CANNED, EMAIL. FANTASTIC customer service. If you are sitting on the fence with these in mind, don't be afraid to buy either on of these great Arcopedico booties.

These little boots are attractive and comfortable. I have some bunion issues, so it's hard to find a shoe or boot that works. Arcopedico is generally good for me. They also appeal to my vanity, although comfort always takes precedence.

Heel rear support not stiff enough. Concerned that the shoe would collapse over at the heel. Otherwise a great feeling shoe/boot.

I bought these in September 2018, and the zipper is now broken because the stitching holding the zipper in place pulled apart. This happened to my former pair, but it was after a few years. Very disappointed, because I love the way these shoes fit and feel, they are super comfortable. It will cost $50 to fix the zipper, so I may try to do it myself.

Excellent arch support for high arched feet with the addition of thin arch insoles. Very high-quality bootie. On my 3rd year with one pair and they are holding up amazing. Soles are very long wearing. Well worth the price. I wear them for walking, shopping, everywhere.

I love these boots! I am going to buy the same pair again but in a brown. They are comfortable and go with anything. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day - the boots don't give me any problems. Since they are so soft, they naturally conform to the shape of my foot and I didn't have to "break" them in.

Fit is perfect. These are my new favorite boot boot. Wish they had the same size in knee high boots.

Very comfortable and cozy boot to throw on when it's cold outside. Runs a little big, but perfect with warm socks. Love that is washable, though haven't tried yet! It's not particularly stylish so I just wear it under pants; still looking for a cute vegan boot to wear with dresses and skirts.

These are fantastic shoes! They are like socks, but with support. I have very cranky feet (with plantar fascia, bad ankles, etc.), and these shoes make my feet very happy indeed. And the fact that these are non-leather is awesome.

I received these boots this week, and so far I love them. They are very light weight, very comfortable and very plain. Their simplicity when worn with a black pair of slacks is very flattering. They feel like bedroom slippers. I am sure I will be wearing them every other day this winter. That there is no leather in them and that they are washable is a plus. What I really love is Zappos. They are fabulous company!

Arcopedico boots are the most comfortable and supportive. These L8's are super cute. The brown is a really rich mocha, which matches well with anything in brown shades. I wish they came in gray, I would get another pair.

This is my go-to shoe. It's flexibility makes it totally comfortable in the toe box for my hard-to-fit short toes. The arch is high, but that works for me. The shoe description says padded insole (which it isn't) but it's supportive and flexible. The heel cup does something good for my posture. The shoe is very light and it's washable. All in all, for me it's a five star shoe.

A very comfortable boot, particularly if you have any problem with your feet. Nice material. I have several pairs.

Love these. They are cute and very comfortable. I know I will wear them all the time as I live in Minnesota and boots have a long season here!
