These are great boot that fit great! I am 5'3" with athletic calves and these fit right over my legs with no trouble. There is even a little room in the calf so I can tuck in skinny jeans. The quality of the boots is great! The foot bed is comfortable and I did order the wide width as well. These are synthetic but really look like leather. Overall this was a great purchase!

I LOVE these boots. I have always had a terrible time finding leather boots to fit my calves. These fit perfectly, without even having to pull the sides together. The leather is good quality, and they are super comfy. They are really good boots for the price.

Great boots overall - they fit my calf and are comfortable. I ordered them in a 9.5 W and this allows me to put in my orthotics which really helps. The only negative is that they are synthetic (read not leather) and you cannot tell from looking - you can tell when you put them on and take them off. Overall a great shoe for those of us who have large calves and want to be stylish.

I love these boots! I've never been able to find tall boots that actually fit around my legs and don't look really cheap and style-less. So, these were a lovely surprise. Plus they are really comfy, even after wearing them all day.

I love these boots! I'm a size 24 and always have a difficult time finding boots to fit my calf. Success! Very comfortable and super stylish with an edge.

These are awesome! I have been searching for a pair of boots with most disappointing until these boots! It is hard to find boots to fit muscular calves 17½". My favorite boot for fall! After returning the 5.5 WW for a 6.0 WW so happy that the calf and foot fit both a regular and heavy sock but look slim not bulky--nice fit and love the look. Not sure about arch support since not a lot of walking has been done in them yet but I plan on it and might need a second pair. :)

Love this boot! Fits my wider calves perfectly and I get so many compliments on them! Only negative thing is I ordered them last winter in Cognac, and after wearing them all season, and then just starting to wear them now, the insides fell apart. :( It didn't stop me from ordering a replacement pair in the chocolate color though because I love them so much!

These boots are great. Great quality and fit, they're very comfortable around the calf.

These were definitely a splurge for me but I'm in love so far. The real leather is lovely, and the fit is perfect. (I have 17"-17.5" calves and ordered the boots in size 10W). Also, they are just dressy enough to wear to work, but the extra buckles make them just a tiny bit rock-and-roll, so they'll work with my short skirts and fishnets on weekends, too.

Excellent! They actually run a little small; normally I wear a 7.5 W, but ordered this in an 8. There is now a little bit of room, but it accommodates the fluffier winter and fall socks. The soft inside of the boot adds a little extra warmth without making my feet feel hot during the day. I have athletic calves, but wear a size 8 pant, so it was hard to find boots that weren't too small in the circumference, and when I tried most 'extra wide' boots they were far too big around and looked like I was wearing big sister's shoes. If you have a 16" circumference these will be just right. The black goes with everything and the buckles add that little extra interest. So far I've gotten compliments every time I've worn them. I am a teacher, and they are more than comfortable enough to wear for ten hours at a go. The only thing I would say is that the middle buckle constantly flips up when I cross my legs, and the leather in the buckle is already beginning to flip up due to this. However, that's a pretty minor complaint in a boot I really like wearing. Zappos was great as usual, returning boot after boot until I found the right one. Nowhere else could I have found my perfect-match boot.

Wooow!!! I've been looking for boots like this for many months. First, I have 16” calves because I practice a lot of sports. Second, it looks like a European boot, with such a style - no heel, be able to use it with jeans inside. Extremely comfortable and the inside is awesome! Size is perfect. I am 8 1/2 and I ordered a 9 only because I like using cotton socks with it. Otherwise, you need to order your exact size! High quality brand by the way... Great Purchase!!!

Love the boots! I always had trouble finding boots that would fit my calf. This one is like made for me- feels like a second skin! Highly recommend!

Perfect w/ leggings or over skinny jeans! I am petite (5'0, 105 lbs) but have athletic, oversized calves -- which make it IMPOSSIBLE to find boots that fit. Most boots either do not fit my calves, or are very snug, making my legs appear large. These boots however fit perfectly. There is even some space in the calf area, which gives the illusion that I have a slimmer leg. They run a little big size-wise, I went a half size smaller, but you can afford to go a whole size. Overall, very comfortable. Not a huge fan of the buckles, but I'm very pleased overall. Works perfect as a casual day time look over leggings or jeans. Fitzwell needs to make a style with a wedge now so I can wear them on weekend nights out!

Great boot - Boot fits great - looks great - only thing it could use is a little padding on the innersole - so I added one.

Pleasantly surprised - The first wearing they were a bit snug in the toe box area (I have bunions on both feet) but the more I wore them around the looser they got. I have been able to wear them for many hours with no discomfort. I was very pleasantly surprised. It has been the first boot that I have been able to wear with my 16 inch calf and they are comfortable.

RE: Extremely Pleased - This boot is amazingly comfortable. The first time I wore them walking in New York City for over 3 hours and my feet couldn't be happier. The gel insole was great. I wasn't crazy for the front style of the boot with the rounded toe; however, it was worth the buy.

Incredibly comfortable boots!!! These are possibly the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I wear a 9W and these boots are perfectly sized - lots of toe room, no pinching anywhere. I wore them all day, right out of the box, and they were comfortable the entire time. And the wide calf was perfect for my 16" calves.

My favorite boots - These boots fit so well. They are lined and roomy enough for bigger legs. They don't slip or skid when walking. They look great with skinny jeans and a feminine blouse. They don't need to be broken in at all. My feet were warm and comfortable the first day I wore them. They are my absolute favorite boots.

Finally I found a boot that fits these calves 16 inches. Just got them today and they were perfect size 8. Love the look and the feel. This is the first pair of boots that fit comfortably all around. May not be for everyone, especially if you're not sure about your calf width. Very happy and satisfied with this purchase. Thanks Zappos, I'll wear them with everything!

I received my boots in record time and I loved them out of the box; unfortunately, they were much too large for me. I usually wear a size 8 ½ or 9 so I ordered a 9 because I have such a large calf (16½) but I could put the boot on and off without unzipping them. Way too large in the foot and calf.

Nice looking boots perfect width - I really like these boots but wish I had gotten them a half size smaller. The narrow toe broken in very quickly so now they are a too long and slosh around a lot. An insole helped the fit a bit and the uncomfortable heel. The fit of the calf is perfect and even tapers down to a normal ankle width which most wide calves don't. Overall these are great looking boots just wish I got them a bit smaller.

Pretty boot that fit really well for me. I am short (5'1) with really curvy calves (16.5in circumference), and I had plenty of room in these boots. However, I decided they were a little too dressy for my needs. The buckles add a very nice touch and are good quality. The leather is lightweight, and they are not a heavy boot.

I bought these primarily for the look, but wear them all the time for the fit. I have wide feet and wide muscular calves, and good fitting boots are very hard to find. These fit like a glove, like they were made for me. I am very pleased with these. There are a couple things I would have liked to have in these boots: some cushioning in the foot bed and a heel that doesn\'t make a clicking clomping sound when I walk. Other than that, these are great!
