I love these boots. I have every big calf muscles and have had to return boots on here because they were to tight or wouldn't zip up at all...ultra comfy and great support...a must have for ladies with larger than average calf muscles.

Received boots lickety-split. Had to return another pair of Fitzwell brand boots because they were too tight around the foot. Normally I wear a 6 medium in everything, but as recommended I tried a 6 W in this boot and they fit perfect. Also the calf circumference is spot on (I have 14in calves) and I have plenty of room. Dealing with Matt in Customer Service was amazing.

I went to post to some friends how excited I was to have found some good boots, but made a typo and ended up saying I had found God boots... You know what? it turns out it wasn't a typo... these boots are made of awesome. They are God boot. It's always terribly difficult for me to find boots with low heels and a good wide calf. I had one such pair (also from Fitzwell), but when I went to order a new pair to replace my beat up old ones, I found they didn't have the ones I wanted anymore. In desperation, I thought, these look awesome, but I bet they don't fit nearly as well as the old ones I loved. The wide calf really is wide here. I am able to tuck my jeans legs inside and zip the boots up without any problems at all. The one down-side to these amazing boots is that the buckles sometimes dig in to your pants if you cross your legs. I loved them so much I tried to order a second pair for that inevitable day when I finally find that I've worn these so much that I need to replace them... they were out of my size. :( Still, I can't recommend them highly enough.

I broke my ankle a few years back and absolutely hate shoe shopping now! I have been searching for knee high boots for several months! This is the first time I have ordered online without trying them on! The first pair I purchased did not work out because I needed a wide calf! I received these boots and love them! They are very comfortable! They go very well with skirts and with jeans tucked in! My shoe size went up half a size when I broke my ankle and I ordered these in my old size and they fit perfectly! I wear them everyday!

I just ordered a second pair of these boots, as my first pair is finally wearing out and I can't imagine my life without them. Great style and comfort...they really stretch my wardrobe!

Beautiful boot but it would not fit my wide calf. About 2 inches from the top. Hate that. Always hit or miss on wide calf boots. This one was, sadly, a miss.

My wife can rarely find boots to fit her. She's petite and athletic. These boots fit her perfectly. They look terrific on her and fit true-to-size. The only reason we marked them down on style is the rubber outsole. We won't be able to resole them. We would prefer leather. That said, excellent value and an attractive boot for women who have trouble finding high-top boots to fit.

I ordered the 8WW which I felt were smaller than other ww shoes I have purchased. The style however is very attractive. I'm 5'2'' so the shaft height was perfect, they were higher than mid-calf on me, almost a knee high .The boots allowed my legs to look a little longer. If you are a taller woman I think the boots would be a mid-calf height. I found the calf width to be very comfortable too. I didn't like the gel heel pad that was in the boot initially because it took awhile for my feet to adjust to it.

These are my so-so boots. I'm just glad that they fit my calves. I bought the 6.5. A little snug at the top but no worries. I would've given this 5 stars but I just didn't think it was worth how much I paid for. A little steep on the price.

Nice boot, I ordered 1/2 size larger and is fine. If the calf size in the boot was any smaller, I would not be able to wear it. Barely can get it zipped now, something off with the measurements they have. Hoping the boot will stretch.

While the shoe part felt true to size, as the boot came up to my calf it flared out way to much for my liking. Even stuffing pants down into it didn't help. I know it's near impossible to find something that fits perfectly but they could have trimmed it back a bit near the top. The straps are not adjustable, they come with one hole and any adjusting you do makes the boot fold in a very ugly way no matter which way that you try. While I would love to keep these boots, I have to return them because with those design flaws I won't wear them.

I love the calf size to the boot. The style is very nice. It is not a true wide and it is narrow. I wore the boot so cant return it. :(

Although these boots are very cute I have to say they are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn! The leather upper is soft and comfy but the sole (the heel in particular) is rock hard. I wore these for about 3 hours and my feet were screaming. I don't have particularly 'fussy' feet but I could not tolerate the hardness of the heel. I will try adding some sort of heel cushion because they are so cute but if this doesn't help they will have to go in trash.

Well, the pros: I have rather wide feet with a slight bunion on my right foot, and it's not easy to find shoes that accommodate that. These are one of the rare boots which do, so hooray for that! I got a size 9W (my true size), and the fit in the foot is wonderful. And the soles are super comfy; they seem like they would be terrific walking shoes. But the cons: To start with, the width at the calf is way too wide for me. I suppose wide foot may often translate to wide calf, but in my case, I've got an approximate 15.5 inch calf circumference and am swimming in the extra ~3.5 inch of calf circumference of the boot. Even with pants, that's way too much space for me. On top of that, I've gotta say that the style really isn't very flattering. From the side, the buckles are cute and all, but from the front. I feel like I'm about to go duck hunting or something. Maybe if they fit better, they'd also look better, but I'll never get to know.

I totally loved these boots, especially the style. Unfortunately, after 3 months, one of the soles cracked completely across the width! I was very disappointed, to say the least.
