I am a Women's size 6.5-7 and was having difficulty finding the perfect equivalent in kids' sizes. I decided to purchase a 6 because I typically wear two or three socks in the winter. When I received them, I found that they were slightly bigger than I anticipated. Nonetheless, I am not exchanging them for a size 5 because a size 5 would not allow me to wear as much socks as I do. They're cute, stylish, and perfect for the cold weather!

I'm normally a woman's size 6, but after reading other reviews I decided to go for the kids' hunter boots in size 4. The reason is because I am just under 5 feet tall! If I had gotten the woman's they would have definitely been way too tall. I LOVE the fit of the kids boots on me; the calves are narrower than the Huntress boots (which I also considered but I don't have very large calves; I read that that style suits taller women with larger calves better). I am so happy with my choice and saved money! The only thing is the reflectors on the back, but I don't mind them at all. I've read that you can take them off by heating them with a blow dryer but I haven't attempted it yet. Oh and the shoes are pretty roomy which I think is great for thick socks, but if you wear 5 or 5.5 in woman's. I would go for size 3. I can sometimes wear a 5.5 but the size 3 was too snug for me! Anyways I hope this helps other shorties like me! :)

I've wanted a pair of the Original tall boots for some time, but was afraid of just how tall they would be on me. I'm 5'1", and after reading how many adults go for the youth boots, I decided to give it a try, and I am quite pleased! I normally wear size 6-6.5, and the UK4/US5 are a little roomy, but not uncomfortably so. They are easy to get on and off and will fit nicely with cushy socks. The shaft is just about 12.5" tall, so it comes a few inches short of my knees. I'd be happy if it were an inch or so taller, but the adult version would have hit me uncomfortably right behind the kneecap, so this is a good compromise. And the price difference is a nice bonus. We don't get much rain, but they have excellent traction on the snow, and they will be great for working in my garden!

As other reviewers have noted, this is a fabulous deal if you are a petite woman with a small foot. I'm 5'2" with a size 6-6 1/2 foot and I ordered the size 5 (EU 37). The foot is roomy with regular socks and the shaft sits a few inches below my knee. Plenty of room for the fleece socks, if I decided to add them at a later date. I plan to wear them for mucking around in my yard, and they are easy to slip on and off - no wrestling with laces at the door or tracking mud into the house. The reflectors are hardly noticeable on the powder blue boot. A great (sale) purchase for half the price of the woman's boot.

I love these boots! The are very comfortable and not too heavy. I love them so much that I even wear them when it is not raining. I am 5'2 so they kids boots are a great height for me. I normally wear a size 6 (6 1/2 in boots) and I ordered a size UK4 EU 7 (5M/6M). There is plenty of room to allow for boot liners or socks. As for the Hunter Fleece Boot liners... I am not overly thrilled about those! Aside from being pricey, they are not too comfortable as the seams are thick and quite annoying. The placement of the seams are not right. I did buy a cheaper knock-off pair from Target that are so much more comfortable!

I'm 4'11 and wear a 6.5 in women (get a 7 sometimes in boots). Bought a size 5 in the green hunter boots. Perfect height and fit and still enough room for thick thigh high socks!

I normally wear a women's size 6, but was able to comfortably fit into a kid's size 4.5 Hunter boot. I didn't purchase the fleece socks that go along with them, but if I had, I most likely would have purchased a size 5 boot. I would recommend these boots to any woman with a smaller foot; great way to save money! These boots are a bit shorter than the adult version & also a bit more narrow, yet still comfortable. Also, they contain reflector patches on the back (the adult versions don't have this). Other than those minor changes, this is your typical Hunter boot. Comfortable, warm & not too heavy compared to some past pairs of rainboots that I have owned. I ordered my pair in Yellow & they are the perfect sunny color for a rainy day!

Love these boots. I were a women's 7.5 and the size 5 fit great. They are a little tight around my runner's calf but I can still tuck in jeans.

I liked the green color. I ordered a size 5 in youth and am really a 6 in women's. It is very roomy. I should have ordered a 4 to compare but in my haste I just ordered the 5 thinking it would fit. I don't regret it completely though because I bought the welly socks and they do make the fit more snug. So I guess if I wanted to wear it without the sock the 4 would have been the best fit. But I can't imagine fitting into the 4 with the socks. It's perfect for rainy days or snowy days. Keeps my feet warm, dry and happy.

These work boots work famously as they were intended ie yard and mucking stalls. Think parents are crazy to spend this much money on a kid as a fashion statement, but oh well. I am a clean 7 and the child's 5/ 38 is perfect! I'm 5'2" and a competitive runner so the height was just right and I have ample room for my calves with socks and jeans tucked in. The measurements are there so use them. They definitely have some arch support and why I would pay more than just the fashion statement boots...I'm on my feet constantly and need a boot that can stand the test of time. In this case it pays to be short...would never fathom paying adult price.

I'm 5'0 petite 37 year old and was discouraged when I had bought a pair of adult Hunter boots about 3 years ago, as they were too high for my short little legs. I'm so happy that I decided this year to look at the Kids Young Hunter. I am a size 6 and bought the size 4 and they fit perfectly (even with the fleece matching socks). I have already worn them and they were super comfortable.

The hunters are really nice an look just like the picture. Unfortunately for me I have to return because my foot grew and they were a little too tight and I don't think they will stretch, but besides that the shoes are awesome.

Love these boots, I am 5 foot tall 36 years old, the kids are the perfect height on my leg, I wear a size 6 shoes, for boots I got to a 6 and a half for comfort and the size 5 Hunter youth gives the room I need; cannot wait to wear them!

I love these boots! I bought them for my son but I will definitely be wearing these. I am fortunate to wear a wear small size (women's 6½). I bought the kid's size 6. I already own three pairs of Hunters for Women. Living in the Pacific Northwest these come in handy from October to May with skirts to leggings they are my go to shoes!

These are my first pair of rain boots! I'm a 4.5 in kids size and a 6.5 in woman's. I ordered the 5 in kids n they fit perfect. I would definitely recommend these Hunters!

I love these boots. I got the kid's size 6 and they are very loose, probably perfect with a liner or thick socks. Unfortunately, I have to return them. I wear a size 7.5 and I'm 5' 4" tall. The boots reach around 4-5 inches below my kneecaps just around my calves, not an attractive leg lengthening look. Also, for some reason, I ordered the boots on a Tuesday and they arrived on a Monday. Very slow for Zappos, not lightning quick as usual.

I ordered the kids' version of these for my 5'5" daughter, based on the reviews that said the height of the boot in the kids' sizes was better than that of the adults. They were not nearly tall enough for her. They only came up to mid-calf. I will be returning them for the adults' size. Too bad as the kids' are cheaper!

Worth every penny! These boots are a classic and work well in all seasons. Hunter makes cozy socks you can insert during the colder months.

These are so great! I am 5'2'' so the womens ones are a little bit too tall. These fit perfectly, and are a good basic item to have! I wear a 6.5 in womens and ordered a 5 youth.

Just got my youth hunters and they are FABULOUS! I am only 5'2", so the adult ones are way to height, but these are perfect! I wear a ladies 7 so I ordered a size 5. They will be great with socks. I am now praying for rain so I can use them.

I am a size 6.5 womens and bought a 5 youth. It fits perfectly. I love these boots! They are the perfect length for me as well. Just a few inches below my knee (I am 5' 2"). Worth every penny if you live in a rainy city like I do, and the kids size was a great deal.
