I wear a size 5.5 women's and I bought the big kid size 4. The sizing can be confusing but these have plenty of room for me. They fit great through calves, which is sometimes a problem for me because I'm under 5 ft tall and have muscular calves. I would buy these again any day! They are comfortable and I know I'll get so much use out of them!

I love these boots! I am 5'2" and these are the perfect height for me. I don't mind the reflectors, so I decided to save the money and get the kids boots...especially because the adult boots were way too tall. I ordered both the size 3 kids (women's 5) and size 4 (women's 6) to compare. I'm glad I did! I'm usually a women's 5, but I was way more comfortable in the size 4 kids. So to me, they ran a little small. Also, the shaft of the boot was a good inch-inch 1/2 shorter on the size 3. They looked a little goofy that short on me. The size 4 was perfect in size (especially if you are going to wear with socks) and in height. I didn't realize that the shaft height would vary depending on the size.

These boots fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 6.5 in shoes and I am lucky enough to also fit in children's sizes as well. I ordered a big kid 6 and they fit great. I definitely recommend these.

First, Zappos has the best customer service, hands down! I ordered two pairs and needed them to go on a holiday within a week and a half, and Zappos kindly assisted and helped me with all my questions and even expedited my shopping for free! Second, I absolutely love my new pair of Hunter Original Black wellies! I have been eyeing them since I went to London and when I got back home, I was contemplating since Southern California doesn't rain often or have sudden cold temperatures. I am glad they have the kids sizes for me as I am 5'2 and fit a size 6.5, 7, 7.5 shoe (depending on the shoe) and they don't cost as much as the womens size! I tried the womens size in Nordstrom and I found it too bulky with the shaft and circumference being way too large! I looked ridiculous! Thank goodness for being short and able to fit kids sizes! I ordered a size Big Kid size 5 in Matte Black and Matte Lipstick Pink, and they really do look great in everything! Especially matches all my colorful skinny jeans! At first when I received them, they felt a little snug around my big toe, and was contemplating to opt for the Big Kid 6, but I wore them around the house for an hour, hoping to break them in just a tad and they turned out to be perfect for! I wish the shaft was an inch or two higher, but overall, I love them! They are comfortable and I am definitely going to collect more colors and even try the original glossy wellingtons!

Got these boots today and love them! I'm 5'2" and wear a size 7 in women's. I got them in a size 5 and fit perfectly! Perks of having small feet! These are perfect for Washington weather.

I'm 5'1" and normally wear a 4 or 5 in women's shoes. The adult 5 hunters were too big for me. I got the kid 3 and they fit perfectly. They aren't as tall as the adult boots but I don't often have to wade through foot deep puddles so theses are just fine for my purposes. And they are much more comfortable and supportive than my previous rain boots which I was worried about in trying the kids size.

We bought these for our teenaged daughter that is 4' 10". Kids sizes are so much cheaper than adults. The fit was perfect in the foot. If you are over 5 feet tall, you may think that the shaft is too short - if you want the tall boot look. The kids boots have reflectors on the top and bottom at the back. It did not bother my daughter to have this, but you might not like it. You should look at buying the Welly sock. The adult Welly sock was not too tall for the shaft of this boot, she just tucked it in. With the Welly sock, the top reflector is covered up. It was worth the savings to get the kids size.

I'll admit, as an adult, I wear Hunter boots when the rains come in. I decided to purchase Hunter boots for my children mostly because I stick with brands I trust. It was a stretch to pay the extra money for kids as I know their feet will grow out of them in a year, but my children have grown out of wanting boots that look childish (i.e., designs). The boot is tall enough to not let the rain inside and are pretty durable. We are all happy with our Hunters.

Bought these for my 10 year old daughter. They are super cute! They run large like all Hunter boots. She wears a 4.5 shoes and I bought a 4. These will fit her for awhile.

I usually wear a 6 1/2 in most shoes and boots. Originally I ordered the big kids size 5 based on other reviews, but found that my big toe and heel rubbed, so exchanged it for a 6. It's a little roomy, but much more comfortable. I ordered the shearling insole to add padding and take up some room. My feet and calves are both narrow, so even the kids boots are a little wide for me, but fine for getting around in the rainy Seattle weather. Wish they'd make a petite or narrow version! I also used olive oil to buff them, based on a post, as one had white bloom when it arrived. Worked like a charm!

I can't even tell you how much I love these boots! I am a women's 6 and the 4 fits me perfectly. You know how so many rain boots are clunky and heavy and uncomfortable? These are not at all - they are great for walking around the city in. I also like the reflectors on the back - they are not that big, and since I'm walking around the city in the dark a lot, I like having them.

These are great! I am an adult with small feet (3.5 kids tennis shoes / 5 woman's boots). The size 4 kids Hunter boot was perfect! It is comfortable in thinner socks, but still gives me enough room to use the Welly inserts, and thicker socks. Such a great thing to have sitting next to the door for quick pull-on (I use them to take my dogs out every morning, and whenever it rains).

I'm an adult and bought these for my 7 1/2 size feet. They are awesome. So well made and super cute and the kid price is so much better.

As a 24 year old woman wearing a size 5-6 shoe, I always look at the kids shoes to catch a great deal. These boots are perfect. Personally, I thought that the women's size were too tall on my knee, they looked good, but hit my knee cap when I bent my leg. The kids pair sits about 2 inches below my knee (I am 5'2") which I believe is the perfect size, giving enough room for socks to come up above the top of the boot. I originally ordered the size 5 kids, but returned to order the size 6. The five fit me perfectly with a little room to spare, but I wanted enough room to fit thick boot socks in the winter, so I returned and bought the size 6. If you plan on wearing socks under these, I suggest ordering a size up. Zappos delivered each pair the next day and made my return very easy! I ordered the black pair and they are a perfect staple to add to any wardrobe. If you can fit, I highly suggest ordering the kids rather than the women's boots. They are perfect. Can't wait to get a pair of hunter socks!

My daughter loves these Hunter boots. They fit true to size and hit just below the knee. Perfect!

My teenage daughter wears these and loves them! They are very well made, and I think she will get many years of use from them. They have a classic look and are comfortable.

I like this boot, I have a small foot...wear a 3-4 in kids and a 5-6 in womens and the youth size 4 fits very well on my foot, kind of loose but comfortable! I kind of sort of don't like the reflectors on the back but they might grow on me eventually.

I've been wanting Hunter boots for a while now and I finally decided to purchase them. I didn't want to pay the price of a regular women's size boot so went ahead and purchased a kids size 6, I usually wear a women's 7 men's 5, and they fit perfectly! I was very pleased! So was my sister who wears a 6 in women's and purchased a 6. I really recommend these to anyone!

Bought these for my daughter to use at a 3.5 week summer sleep away camp. She were so comfortable she wore them almost every day and besides the mud and dirt, they still look brand new.The quality of these boots are really amazing. Very impressed.

I LOVE that the tall Hunters come in youth sizes! I originally ordered the tall Hunter in a size Woman's 6, but the boot was just way too overwhelming on my legs. Too tall & too big for my petite legs. The kids size 4 fits perfect if you find the woman's size 6 is too much boot for your skinny little legs!

Super cute! I'm very petite (5'0") and these boots fit perfectly. They have some arch support which is great for my very flat feet. They don't have the nice gloss that the full sized ones have, but I'm perfectly content without it given that I clean them every now and then. A great deal for smaller women!

I love my Hunters! I am short, 5 feet tall and the women's Hunters were too tall and came up too high. The kids are the perfect height and the only real difference are the reflectors on the back, which aren't super noticeable in my opinion. I wear them all the time, from playing with my kids outside, and to work on rainy days. Super comfy and I get lots of compliments! I normally wear a women's 6 and the kids 4 is prefect.

I'm petite and the regular tall Hunters were way too tall for me kept hitting me in the knees. These are a good compromise. I'm 5'2'' and though I wish they were about an inch taller, I still like them a lot. I wear a 6.5 in woman's shoes and ordered a 5. Fits great.
