I have the same size in the Encore Breeze (not 2) and this one does seem a little bigger, but not enough to change. Heavier socks will do it. But if I buy them again - which I will - I will try a half size smaller. They are fabulous shoes. I can wear them all day teaching and my feet don't hurt!

These shoes are so comfortable. No breaking in required. Zappos.com has the best customer service that I have ever received.

These are super comfortable. I like how light they are but still have a thick, solid sole. These will be my runaround shoes this winter. I already got to try them out a week ago and they're great. Footbed isn't very cushy and I bought new support insoles. I have a super high instep and often shoes like this don't fit or hurt me, but these are great.

This shoe may not be much to look at...but it feels great! I am on my feet 8-10 hours a day and these shoes are a life saver. I have 4 pairs and will keep on buying them.

Love these Merrells, but had to return as there was a dark spot on the mesh fabric. I plan to re-order if they are still in stock!

After searching in every retail store possible, Zappos came to my rescue with the perfect fitting shoes (exactly like what was described) and a very quick delivery. Zappos even sent them faster than I had requested. I felt like they wanted to help me personally and that my business was truly appreciated. These are great shoes. They are lightweight and fit true to size. They are my new, supportive shoes to wear every day for work, since I do a lot of standing.

I've been wanting a pair of Merrells for a long time and where better to buy them than Zappos? I ordered them on a Sunday and they were delivered to my door on Monday! What service. I don't know what impressed me more the quality and comfort of the shoes or the quality and service from Zappos.

I love my Merrells, all of them! I've owned and worn out several pair of this style already. This particular pair was acquired for a European friend who tried mine on and loved them too. And when I do charity walks, when everyone else is wearing sneakers, I wear my Merrell Encore Breezes.

These are great shoes! I thought I wore a 10, but the 9½ feels great. They are even kind to my bunion! And Zappos is a stellar purveyor of excellent customer service!

On my feet all day as a nurse in an OR. Simply the best. Plantar fasciitis no longer an issue all day. Wish I had found these 6 pairs of shoes ago.

This model has been my go to field work shoes for years, but the upper finally began to separate from the sole. I have a high instep and I had to order size 8M last time, because they were not available in wide. This time I ordered size 7W (7W usually fits), yet find the footbed is a bit too long. So I will re-order in 6½W.

I love these! They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. It's like wearing slippers. I have the black and would buy other colors but I don't like the tri-colored shoes. I wish they would all be one color. Hear that Merrell?!

I love these shoes. They did run large so I can wear thick socks with them. Extremely comfortable for standing and walking all day.

I have multiple pairs of the Merrell Encore styles and they are my go-to shoes for nearly all occasions. I have a high arch so I have to replace the foam insole with an orthotic, but the lip around the heel of the Encore is enough to hide the orthotic and keep it from shifting. I got the Encore Breeze 2 for summer wear, but they have enough lining under the mesh for my bare feet to sweat a little. I was expecting more airflow like my Merrell Circuit MJ Breeze, so I subtracted one star for comfort. I'll have to try the toe socks another reviewer mentions to see if those work for me.

Pretty comfortable walking shoe. I have wide feet and this shoe does not seem to pinch after I have been in them all day and my feet have a tendency to swell. A little expensive, but if you want a comfortable shoe I guess you have to pay a little more.

I've been wearing Merrell Breeze shoes for years. They stay comfortable and last a long time. They're much more comfortable than any other clogs I've tried.

I have had the Merrell Encore Breeze 2 for a few weeks. They are so comfortable I think I should buy more so I am not wearing the same pair every day.

This is probably at least my sixth pair of Encore Breeze. I cannot seem to live without them. This pair, however, was just a tad short and gave me blisters on my heel on my first dog walk. I am going to have to return them unfortunately - hope the new models have not changed. I wear a size 11½, so I need shoes that are not all the way closed at either the toe or heel. So these shoes have fit the bill up until this pair.

I recently ordered 2 pair of Merrel shoes from Zappos and was amazed at their excellent customer service. Every promise they made was performed just as they said. I received the shoes overnight!

Great! I have 3 pairs of these -- they are literally the only shoe I can wear with my orthotics that does not look too "old lady!" Only problem is that one of the 3 pairs squeaks when walking. Otherwise, they are comfortable, wear well, and with slacks, pretty much go from casual to dressy with ease.
