I ordered these because I have been having multiple foot issues, all of them painful. I saw how many reviews - most favorable, and decided to try them. I am glad I did. They sent the regular width in error, but quickly replaced them with the wide width I had ordered. No hassles, or inconvenience.

My "go to" shoes. I wear them everywhere. In the house and to the store. I have Achilles' tendon problems and these are the only shoes that give my foot proper support and comfort.

I purchased these for my elderly Aunt (late 80's). She loved them and everyone in the assisted living facility lined up at the computer to order them. (You're welcome, Z!) These are great shoes for anyone who has issues with laces/straps and even velcro (you still have to bend over). They slip on, are tight enough to walk without slipping, have comfortable footbed. Only complaint is that they are mesh (gets wet in heavy dew - dog walking) and the leather ones are ugly. Really ugly. They used to make a nubuck brown and black - much better. I have an old brown nubuck pair that I'd love to replace so I'm still waiting for Merrell to get on their game. Five star rating.

My podiatrist told me to get since I have plantar fasciitis and they seem to help. They run a little tight around the top of the foot so I had to go a size higher. Very comfy.

My favorite knock around/dog walking shoes. Very comfortable and well made. Mesh top allows breathability but also water which may be a downside for some. I have a hard to fit foot and a high arch and this shoe works for me. A fine basic shoe.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They are lightweight, give great support, and look really nice especially with pants. I'm getting them in every color I can find!

Wonderfully comfortable shoes with enough style for work. Silver mist is an eye-catching color but I own these in every color but navy. Zappos' service is impeccable -- hundreds of shoes to choose from, easy to order, free and fast shipping -- who needs more?!

My fave Merrell of all time was the Mary Jane Encore Breeze, which they quit making. Bummer! I got these in two colors to replace two of the MJEB. They are not the same, but they will work.

I recently purchased the Merrell Encore Breeze 2 in black. I love these shoes, very comfy. Unfortunately my new dog decided to eat them yesterday and I will need to purchase a new pair. I highly recommend this shoe, just keep them away from your dog if you have one because apparently they like them too.

I needed a shoe with support due to foot pain. These shoes were recommended by my doctor and I love them. I am experiencing no pain.

I have a pair of Merrell Encore Breeze 2 clogs in tan like this but in 8.5 medium I bought at second hand store just to see if I could wear them. Hurt my foot and they were life savers. Have to wear quite large orthotics for plantar fascitis so even though the 8.5 size was a little too long, I have worn daily for several months. Wanted black ones, so ordered in both an 8 medium and 8 wide. Podiatrist suggested I keep the 8 medium. But I wish I had kept the 8 wide because with orthotics, even though wide in heel, it would have been more comfortable and cooler in hot weather. Anyway, these are really comfortable. I sprayed with waterproofing so hope they will stay dryer in rainy weather. With the 8 medium and wide, I have to take out the insole they come with to accomodate orthotics. I think without orthotics, I would wear a 7.5.

I recently purchased my second pair of Merrell's Encore Breeze 2. They're my go-to casual shoe regardless of the outside temperature. I ordered my regular shoe size in navy. They fit perfectly, and the color is true to what appears online. Thanks to Zappos speedy mail order, I had my new shoes in a few days.

I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. My first pair were given to me by my daughter eight years ago and they still look good and feel good. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, and when they get dirty, I throw them in the washer and they come out looking brand new. I just purchased a pair for another daughter, and she loves them. I give them 6 stars, five are not enough!

Just bought my first pair, ordering my second. They are so awesome. I ordered 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfect. I stand all day over 10 hours and these shoes keep you going.

This is a comfortable, supportive, and attractive everyday shoe. I have been wearing this model for the past two years and just reordered. I have them in black and a beige. I highly recommend them.

Very comfortable fit, wearing it 3 shifts straight, out of the box. It is lightweight and fits my pronating, flattened and slightly bunion feet well with decent support. I get away with wearing it to work with slacks although in another color may appear too casual for that.

These are the most comfortable shoes on the planet! And...they look nice too and not too clunky. Bought another color-had to have it.

Great shoe, fits my strange foot really well! I have a hard time finding shoes that fit my crazy foot that's wide at the base of the toes, really long toes, and really narrow at the heel. The Encore fits, and with effortless ease. I wear them every day to work now and I credit the Encores with helping me get through herniated disc pain. I look forward to many more years with the Encore Breeze.

These are my annual pair of Encore Breeze 2. Last year's have acquired the status of garden shoes. So basically I wear them when dressed for work and errands, as well as for doing the hard stuff like weeding, carrying, etc. They are life's staple shoe.

Merrell Encore Breeze 2's are really comfortable shoes. When my local store stopped carrying them, I looked to Zappos and voila they were there.
