I love my backpack because it's cute, not heavy and made well. Although, I did not know the bag was small it's still great for school. I use it everyday and I feel as if I have nothing on my back. It's fashionable and handy. I strongly recommend this backpack if someone is looking for a bag that's not made cheaply and feels like a feather.

I received the bag in a timely manner. Packaging was great. My 9year old son loved the bag! It was a perfect fit for his tall thin frame.

This a really cute backpack. It is sized for a first grader or a kindergarten child. It was too small for my third grader.

I was looking for a simple looking backpack that would match pretty much anything I'm wearing if I'm on foot, that can carry my water bottles, laptop and some other small items. I found it! It's great for being on my motorcycle because it hugs my mid an upper back and doesn't out strain on my lower back. One thing I had to add on we're securing straps so that it can hold my taller water bottles. This was made for the youth as it's in the children section but it works well for my size.

My 6.5 year old son picked this book bag because he liked the flashlight green color. He has been in school a week and it is the perfect size for him and is very comfortable. It would have been nice to have an extra zipped pocket on the outside but it works! This is a great small back pack for camping as well.

I bought this backpack as a small(er) option for my son who was entering Kindergarten. I wanted to buy a quality backpack that could potentially last a few years. My experience with North Face backpacks has been positive and I have had my Jester backpack for over 6 years. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about this backpack. Although super comfortable (per my son) and visually appealing (Lightening bolt pattern) the side pockets were demolished within weeks of use. This is a kindergartner. I know kids can be heavy on clothes but a backpack? It appears that North Face did not think to reinforce the bottom of these side pockets leaving no protection between the ground or whatever surface the bag rests on and what is inside the pockets.

I bought this for my 9 year old in 4th grade. Was hoping it would last her threw elementary, but the bag is a LOT smaller than i thought. She LOVES it and will keep forever. Just have to get a bigger one for next year, and yes it will be NORTH FACE!

I bought it for my son who is in second grade, its too small for him and he can barely fit his pocket folder and his hoodie. When winter comes he will not be able to fit a coat in there. I would buy this for my 2 yr old to put his toys and snack in when on the go.

Ordered for my middle schooler. We read the measurements and thought it would be ok. But it was say smaller than we had expected. Will be returning this one. Already picked up a larger northface backpack and it's perfect. This one is best for k thru 3, maybe 4th grades.

The bag I ordered and received looks nothing like the picture online. the sides and bottom of the bag are brown, not the beach glass green like in the picture.

My daughter needed a bookbag for the 5th grade. This bag is way too small for a 5th grader. I thought 10yrs old was still apart of youth but I guess I was wrong. This bag is more for a 5-8 year old.

This back pack's materials are too light. I purchased 2, one for my son age 4 about the right size and another one for my friend's son age 6, too small for him. I will suggest to give it a name as kids age 3-5, and it shouldn't call Junior Bag!
