Not a fan. I'll keep them as a replacement for the "falling apart, you can't wear those any more" house shoes (slippers?). Have worn Merrell slip-ons for years and they were much roomier. These are tight. Won't buy them again.

Bought these for my husband, he said they were to large width and length wise. Since it doesn't come in narrower sizes we had to return them.

It looked nice in the photo, but in size 14 the vast expanse of brown mesh was unattractive, even for a clog style shoe. The sole is comfy and squishy like a cushioned walking sport shoe, but lacking the firm support typical of a clog.

I was looking for ECCO when shopping, typed that in the "Search" function, and saw these shoes. I didn't realize until I took them out of the box that they were Merrells. A little late then. I DO NOT like searching for a brand name and having other brands snuck into the results. But, these looked good so I tried them on. I have had Merrills before and liked them, just not as much as ECCO. These shoes are very comfortable and fit like gloves, so I am pleased with them, but they still are not the brand I chose. I will probably keep them and will decide today.

Was trying to replace original pair, but similar but missing the center support from the toe to top of shoe, don't like the new style to much mesh on the top no structure. 15 year old pair is a better design.

Online it looked like a perfect substitute for the 5 pairs of earlier generation Merrell that I have but unfortunately are no longer offered. This is my correct size and they fit properly; however, they are more like a clog and my heel comes out after each step.

I am a woman and wear an 8 1/2 extra wide in my athletic sneakers. I have a very difficult time finding shoes wide enough. so, I thought I would try a size 7 in men's in medium. This was a touch too tight. They did have good cushioning from what I could tell from the 10 minutes I wore them in my kitchen but again, just a touch to tight across the sides. Thankfully, Zappos has the best return policy ever!

This is a fairly nice shoe, but it won't work if, like me, you have high arches. The front part of the shoe is quite low, and doesn't allow your foot to slip in easily if your arch is high. Merrell used to make the "Jungle Slide" that accommodates a high arch, but now only produces it in a camouflage pattern.

I really liked the look of this shoe. But the fit was not good. I had a previous, very similar model of Merrell slide that fit perfectly. This one was much tighter around the front of my foot, and the elastic that allows the "tongue" to move was not very stretchy.

This is perhaps the 7th or 8th pair of this Merrell model that I have purchased over the years. However, this is the first pair where within the first week the insoles come out when I remove my feet. As might be expected, it comes out ball of my foot first and then the heel thereafter this creating a condition where the pad has to be repositioned. Is quite a nuisance for a shoe that is supposed to be a slip-on. This may be the last pair of these I ever buy.

This shoe is attractive but runs really big.

Just got my order. This model is not as comfortable as previous (Merrell Breeze) model. Stiff and produced an instant blister on the top of one of my toes! They are also "noisy" - i.e., they make noise when I walk. Awkward sound that I hope goes away with age and use (assuming I break in the shoe before it breaks in my feet. This is not what I had come to expect from owning dozens of Merrells over the years; not really very pleased.

I always wear size 11 and I have a narrow foot. This shoe seemed to be about size 12, and although it looked wide enough, it was too narrow.

Let me begin by saying I own four pairs of Merrell shoes and love them all! These shoes are uncomfortable and will slip off the back of your foot. I own a similar pair of Timelines that do not slip nearer as muc, if at all. Problem is Merrell uses leather around the back of the shoe and will always be slick. I ordered these in a 11M and because they slipped so much I assumed they were 1/2 size large as several other reviewers stated.So I ordered a 10 1/2. Not any better. I wanted to like them, but what good are shoes that you can't walk in:) The style is very nice. Fit, not so much. I will now have returned two pairs of the same shoe. Zappos is the greatest place to purchase shoes. Return, exchanges, or money back, never ever a problem. Customer service 5 stars!!!!!

First try was much too big and so was the second - a half size smaller than my normal size. Much of the problem is the gussutted tongue that's just too high for a normal instep. Easy to put on but then you're swimming in it.

I bought a pair of Merrell Encore Bypass in color grey over a year ago. I is very, very comfortable to wear, easy to slip on/off, very durable. Only annoying issue is as time goes on, the leather part of the shoes start to show uneven ugly wearing color. Even though it is still good to wear and comfortable, buy my wife insists I should buy another one with different design.

The width was slightly narrower than expected, and after repeated wear, squished by little toe against the fourth toe, creating a callous on the fourth toe. Also, the seam where the mesh top meets the rubber toe part tore over time, creating a small gap that allowed water to permeate, so my feet got soaked when walking through wet grass! Would not recommend for the money spent.

Arrived comfortable but too wide in the heel. Proceeded to get bigger until very loose. Now gives poor arch support. I am a fan of leather Encore groove. These are totally different.

These are very comfortable shoes, lacking any style, in my view. My low rating is due to the poor build. We are a no-shoes-inside household, with the exception being shoes only for inside the house. These shoes have been my inside shoes for a year, being worn 10-15 minutes in the morning before work and about 1 - 2 hours at nights, plus 2-3 hours on weekends. The lining in the back is already ripped on the left shoe from such mild use/wear. If these were low priced sandals or clogs I would understand, but for well priced item, this is very disappointing.

Years ago I bought a pair of Merrell's Ventilated Jungle Mocs. Best shoe purchase ever! I've worn those shoes all over the world, in casual and dressy situations, hiking and dining. Great shoes. For some insane reason Merrell stopped making them, and replaced them with these. These are not shoes, they are slippers. Order these if you want something comfortable for chilly mornings to pad about the house in. If you want shoes, get something else. These are not for wearing to the airport so you don't have to unlace at the checkpoints, or around town on hot days in Barcelona, or on a casual date. These are slippers. If you need slippers, get these. If you want those excellent Jungle Mocs, get a time machine, because someone at Merrell's axed them long ago.

I have worn the primo breeze for several years and was unable to find them and these are the closest that I could find. I was very disappointed in these! With in a month the inside rim of both shoes wore out and I have cheap yellow foam falling out of my shoes while I walk. No more merrell for me. Next I will try either Dansko or Keen.

Extremely narrow and uncomfortable... Very surprised at all the good reviews...

My husband agrees with the previous reviews that the change in style has decreased the quality of this shoe. With the elastic and lack of back edge, it does not stay on the foot.

Much too big! Also bought a pair of similar Ecco shoes and they fit perfectly. These shoes are only appropriate for wet grass, etc., and even then you should proceed with extreme caution.
