I absolutely love these boots. I got them early this year and they look great pretty much with everything. I like them so much that I'm thinking about getting another pair.

Purchased for our grand-daughter. They looked so cute. NOT combat boots, but feminine and fashion forward.

Oh my gosh, I just love this boot. I love it so much I am ordering an additional pair. I had my mother try them on and she loved them too so am giving her this pair. The boot has a great sole. It is rubber and grips very well. I take a 9 1/2 ordinarily, but I ordered a 10 in case mother liked them and I will be ordering my pair in a size 10 too.

I absolutely love these boots! Zappos makes it so easy to purchase. The site is user friendly and shipping is ridiculously fast! I am going to wear these boots with everything this fall!

The Troopa is not just stylish, it is truly comfortable. This trendy boot takes you from jeans and tees to mini skirts and sassy tops! I have been able to mix it with so many different styles!

Love these shoes! very comfortable could be worn daily. I have very little legs so it was great to find boots with the right circumference. The leather is of very high quality.

I was really surprised that this boot's so good! Originally I purchased "Jenifer Tanker Boots" by Vintage Shoe Company and "Savanna Lace Up" by Durango but despite higher price when try to wear them the best look and most important feel and comfort came from the "Troopa's" which was absolutely unexpected and great surprise! Consider that other boots 2 to 3 times higher in price! The only thing I did I spent 30$ and added extra sole; now boot's quarter inch taller looks even more cool and feels better.

This is a fantastic pair of boots. I was a little hesitant at first because of some of the comments regarding the quality of the boots being poor (such as the the sole coming off), but I bought them anyway because of the other positive reviews. Since Zappos has such amazing return/customer service, I figured I would just return them if they were bad quality (even though I hate the hassle of returning things in general). However, these boots are absolutely amazing. They really are super cute. I love them! They run slightly large; I am a true 6½when it comes to shoes (with or without regular thickness socks), but I always buy size 7 boots to make room for thicker socks. But usually even with thick socks I always have some wiggle room. I find these boots to be on the larger side; they seem to be half a size larger (a size 7 feels like a 7½). I did not exchange them because I do not mind it so much. Larger boots are fine sometimes for comfort. For reference, I have medium to slightly narrow width feet. When I first got the boots, the zipper on the left boot kept getting caught because the trim on the inside of the zipper was a little long. So I just trimmed it myself with scissors and it is perfect! I love the zipper accessory because it makes the boots so much easier to put on and take off. If you are not sure whether to get these boots or not, buy them. You seriously will not regret it.

Very comfortable. My only complain is that the ankle shaft is a little wide for me.

Good fit and comfortable enough for the price! Hope it is as durable as my last pair!

the top of the boot is too loose. i laced it up as tight as possible but its a little weird. still comfy and very durable.

The sole of the boot is extremely comfortable. The only problem with comfort is the odd stitching near my little toe. I have to size up so that it doesn't bother me. But then I have way too much room in the toe area if I do. They would be way too long. This is a beautifully designed boot otherwise. Great quality leather also. But my recommendation is to go up 1/2 size, then it may be okay.

These are much more narrow than the troopa 2.0 - I had to size up. Cute though!

Usually take a 10.5. Had to order an 11 which feels sloppy on my feet. The leather is stiff.

These shoes are super cute! If you have wide feet, absolutely size up at least half a size, because the wide width in my normal size was still extremely narrow. They're very comfortable, perhaps due to the fact that I sized up. Breaking them in hasn't been as painful as some other boots, no major blisters, but the top of the zipper did scratch and chafe my legs the first couple wears, easily remedied with strategically applied band-aids. I got them in both black and brown, since they match my style perfectly. The brown isn't as dark as the picture appears, they're much more orange-toned, but still neutral enough. Can't speak for longevity as I've only worn them enough for any wear and tear to appear.

I usually wear 6E, so instead I had to go up to a 7W to get the width I need. (This is not an unusual compromise.) There are super cute and made of real leather, and are starting out a bit stiff but I’m sure they will soften with time. I look forward to wearing them a lot this winter in Northern California.

I usually wear an 8.5 and had to return for a half size bigger. I could get my feet in with thin socks, but it was snug. Exchanging for a size up! Overall they are super cute!!!!!!

Wasn't very wide. The vamp (part after the laces but before the toes) was so tight, though I suspected it would loosen up after time. My foot kept sliding up and down in the heel when I tried it on. I dare not try a Narrow version of this boot (same size). I usually can wear a 10W but I had tried that one before and it was way too small.

I can wear a 10W in most brands but I couldn't even get my foot inside it.

I purchased a 9 wide, which is my normal size. They fit well but were not overly wide at all so might feel narrow for some.

I bought these boots years ago and loved them. I just tried them on and I’m pretty sure they’re a lot smaller than the same size and width I bought years ago. I can fit them on my feet and hopefully with some wear they’ll stretch out a little and got better.

I have a wide foot so this worked but wish it was a little wider. Love the color and zipper on side is great!

I like the color, height, and cut of the boot, and it feels true to size. The reduction in stars for overall impression is due to the strong chemical odor the boots have. I was able to try them on and walk around the house in them for a little while, but they've been airing out in my garage for the past week and the smell hasn't quite faded away. I'm sure they will be a staple of my cold-weather wardrobe, but not until they no longer stink.

Very cute but not much support. Worried about all day comfort.
