Love these boots! They are comfy and stylish. A little tighter than I'd hoped on my calves, but works fine for tights. Not sure I could tuck skinny jeans inside. Getting lots of compliments on these!

Very chic and comfortable. Can walk all day without feet hurting. I received a ton of compliments. I have a wide calf and at first it was a bit tight but after a few wears the leather soften and they feel like butter! No sagging. Love my Rider boots!

Overall, I love these boots. They fit true to size and are pretty comfortable. The only issue I have had is with the zipper. It tends to catch the material around it designed to protect your skin from the zipper's teeth. It also snags around the heels. But, I love the boots so much that it is really a minor annoyance. As usual, the customer service and speed of delivery is mind boggling. I love buying shoes from Zappos!

This is a wonderfully stylish boot, the problem was getting the right size. Once I saw it I knew I had to have it, so tried 3 sizes until I got the right one. Zappos is great to deal with. I called them twice for advice and they were superb on the phone and the delivery service was fantastic!

The crayon trick is a must. I also struggled with the zippers on these boots. But after reading other reviews, I rubbed a crayon up the sides of the zipper and I think it worked! So glad, because I really didn't want to have to return them! Thank you to the other reviewers who mentioned the crayon.

I have looked for a long time for riding shoes this wonderful! Unlike many riding boots, they are not cut narrow. The footbed is comfortable--extremely flexible and with some traction. The leather is soft with a sheen, and there is no slouch in the boot shaft. I love the back zipper and in spite of what some other reviewers have said, I don't think the calf is too wide. I have somewhat wide feet but thin legs, and the boots fit me perfectly. That said, if you are expecting a very narrow shoe, you might want to order a size down.

Great boots, easy on/off. I took them out of the box and walked an entire day in NYC with them-super comfortable. Several people have asked where I got them, great simple riding boot to wear with anything.

Great boots. I am athletic and have 15" calves. I have had nothing but trouble in finding riding boots that will fit my calves. I bought a 7.5 size boot, and the calf radius fits perfectly. The shoe bed feels a little bit larger than other size 7.5 Franco Sarto shoes I've purchased, but is not too large to matter. The zipper seems to stick a little bit at the bottom of the boot, but it seems to be working in the more I wear them. I love these boots.

I bought these boots in dark brown for their clean, simple look. Without a ton of money to invest in multiple pairs of boots, I needed something versatile and classic. They fit the bill perfectly. I am 5'10", shoe size 11, with big athletic calves (I almost gave up on finding tall boots because I've had such trouble finding a pair that fits). These boots are really comfortable, even with jeans tucked in. They are truly knee-high for a tall woman, as well, hitting me just a couple inches below the knee. I especially like that the outside top edge on the boots is higher than the inner edge--I think this is a very sleek and slimming look. Very happy with the purchase. These are a wardrobe staple!

These are the most amazing riding boots! I spent years questing for a good pair. I have bigger calves, even though I am a small girl, and these fit great, with ample room around my calf area. They are also comfy; good for walking around, and I get tons of compliments. They are also priced a lot better than some boots that don't look or fit nearly as well.

Normally, I wouldn't take the time, but these boots are outstanding. They were the fifth pair I ordered while seeking high quality elegant black riding boots that I expect to have for a decade or more. They are beautiful, comfortable and elicit comments from many friends who notice their numerous outstanding features.

My favorite boots I have ever owned. My regular size feels a touch large - but good to have room for thick socks in winter.

I love my new boots! Thank you to all those who wrote a review and it really helped. I did a lot of shopping for a riding boot and these met my criteria perfectly. Comfortable and attractive, just enough dressiness to wear with a skirt but not too much to wear with jeans. The zipper in the back is great and loosens up after use. They don't fit snug on the calf but I ordered a size 7 and they look great.

I just love these boots! I have gotten so many compliments on them. They were exactly what I was looking for. The button detail on the back of the boot is fantastic. I am a kindergarten teacher and I am on my feet all day! I can wear these boots to school and my feet still feel great at the end of the day!

This is the most comfortable boot I ever bought. It is also the most reasonably priced. My favorite because it is so comfortable and stylish. I bought it in camel and now I want it in the other 2 colors!!! I highly recommend this boot.

This is a great boot which has garnered lots of compliment. It is very comfortable, but does not retain heat well, so if it is cold outside wear an extra pair of socks! It fits true to size. The only problem is that the leather scratches very easily.

This is THE perfect boot. I've yet to find a boot that I like the look of this much, unfortunately it's not the perfect boot for my leg type.

I love these boots. I tried a bunch of others from Zappos before I chose these. They are stylish, comfortable, and a bit unique looking with the back closures. I love them and get compliments all the time. Only one caution: wear thin socks with the boots or your toes will be too cramped.

Absolutely love these shoes! They are so gorgeous and quite comfy. I generally get an 8 1/2 but got these in an 8 and they are perfect. They look and fit great over jeans. Highly recommend.
