I wear a women’s size 12, and the equivalent was listed as 43 or 44. This was a 43 and just a tad too short. The 44 works fine.

I find them comfortable, but could be a tad longer when worn with thicker socks. The sole is very flexible which adds to the comfort.

Seem too long. I keep tripping. A shame! Such a pretty red color.

I wanted to love these. The arch support was great (which is hard to find in a slipper) and the berry color is so fun. I especially love that you can remove the insole and wash the slipper. However, there is very little cushiness to this slipper - it's pretty much the rubber sole, one layer of felt and the thin insole. Also, the fit was troublesome for me, as I felt like I was constantly slipping out of the back (even though I typicaly prefer a clog type open back style like this). So sadly, they weren't a match for me, and I returned them. I ended up with one of the Spring Step slippers with the flexus sole. Just more comfortable for me overall.

The wool felt rougher than the fabric in Haflinger slippers. The slide was hard to keep on my feet. A smaller size might have helped, but I also wanted more arch support than this slipper gave me.

Comfortable. Warm. Feels like good quality.

I loved these slippers - the high price tag was pretty worthwhile since they were comfy, fit and I could put my custom orthotics in them. However, less than a year in, both had holes in the top from my big toe. So disappointing.

I ordered these slippers because my current Haflinger slippers had worn out and there were no Haflingers available in my size. These appeared to be similar in style and, after reading the reviews, I thought they would work for me. Unfortunately that was not the case. These slippers were not quite as comfortable in my foot. Additionally, when I walked the back of the slipper flapped up and down. For these reasons, these were returned.

I’ve never bought expensive slippers before. These are very comfortable. I love the arch support and the breatheability (is this a word?) of the wool. I also have a somewhat narrow foot and ordered these based on reviews. They fit very well. The only thing is the wool in the footbed has already started “rolling” - don’t really know how to describe it any better. But so far it doesn’t bother me.

I was very pleased with Ammern Classic, but learned that it provides less arch support than the Veitsch models from Geisswein (very much like the Flora and Lampy slippers). Since I have a new case of plantar fasciitis, I decided to return the Ammern and order a second pair of Veitsch. For those who may wonder, even though the Ammern has a center seam, there is absolutely NO rubbing or discomfort from the stitching.

For me, these slippers ran large. I order a 10 initially but had to return for a 9 which was perfect. Because of the way these are made, you want them to be rather snug so they stay on your feet while walking. I love them and recommend them highly.

These are very comfortable slippers. I love the look and wore than for 30 minutes around my home. There was a very slight touching from the to of the slipper. I am returning them because I tend some days to wear them slippers for hours around the home and I was afraid that the touching/ mild rubbing on the top of my foot may change to uncomfortableness. Wish they could of stayed here.

These shoes are very flexible, with little support. I was looking for a slipper that I could slide into without having to pull it on like a glove. Also when I walked, my feet would slide around in them.

Only reason I am returning these are that they make a 'squish' sound as the rubber hits my hard wood floors. Kinda like being a little kid wearing large snow pants. They are light weight! If not for the sound- I would have kept them.

Love these slippers, quite perfect, like a thick sock. Love the grippy bottoms. The only thing I would change is to have a somewhat thicker sole with a tad more arch support. But they're great! I wear 8.5 - 9. These just fit me in a 9.

Ordered these for my husband. Unfortunately they were just too wide. He has a very narrow foot and these slippers wouldn't stay on. He could have worn them by wearing heavy socks with them but only in the winter. He liked the idea of warm woolen slippers, the arch support and the soles but... Exchanged for another brand and style. They're too wide too. Will be returning.

I have been buying/wearing these slippers for some years now. They have a moderate arch support, which I like; in fact, a little more would be even better for me, but these are definitely the best I've found. We don't wear our shoes in the house, and since I work from home mostly, these get a lot of wear. They are really comfortable, although, of course, they eventually wear out, and I always buy more. My feet do get a little hot in them, that's my only real complaint.

Nice arch support and high quality. But I don't get the sizing. One of my kids has the 37 and it almost fits me, so I went for 39, but it is barely larger than the 37. Sending these back; not sure I'll exchange for the 40 with such size inconsistency.

These didn't have enough arch support for me, but they were cozy. The soles aren't totally outdoor, but do have grip. They kind of squeak when you walk but I'm sure that would ease up as they get worn.

These are very comfortable and warm. These were a present to my son and he is happy with them. They are wide enough for his very wide feet and he loves the color (green).

This is my wife's third pair. She wears them out through continuous use. She especially likes the arch support. The toe area wears out first.

Loved these immediately. Super comfy. Only issues are they stretched out after about 6 months and now a year later are too big. Also cause stinky feet! Still have loved them while they lasted.

The slippers are well-made and very comfortable. They have great arch support! They do stretch as I wear them but I don't know of any boiled wool slippers that don't do that.

Nice slippers with moderate support. They are too warm for hot weather but fine the rest of the year. Thin socks work with them for me. Bottoms are rubberized but would not be good outdoors if it is really wet or on ice or snow.

Arch is significant. Too much for me, but maybe perfect for you. Very nice slippers. They fit perfectly.
