Ordered 3 options for my husband and he picked these. They are true indoor slippers, not indoor/outdoor shoes that seem to be more popular but not what we wanted. Nice quality workmanship.

These are very nice slippers. They are very warm and I like the durability of the sole.

Soft. Thanks so much for the softness on my bare feet. Love not having to wear a sock. Support is good, but not great. They are quite good looking.

I got these slippers for a Christmas present to myself this year. They are fabulous! My husband cannot understand why I paid so much for slippers, but if these last as long as I think they will, they will be worth every penny. My only wish is that they weren't so wide. I have a narrow foot, so I have to wear socks with them to be comfortable.

These are the best slippers for people with high arches! Also great for wide feet. I wear either a 6 or 6.5 and the size 6 was just right in this slipper. Comfortable with or without socks and I do not find them to be itchy at all. You can take out the removable insole to add your own custom orthotic but I find the slippers supportive enough as they are. Very happy with this purchase!

Perfect slippers for a persnickety shopper! Fit is perfect, great arch support, substantial wool, and beautiful color. I have had them for about six months and still love them. Giesswein makes a quality product and I will be back for more.

I love these slippers. I decided to spend the extra money after buying some much cheaper Dearfoams that had a slippery sole and fell off my feet frequently and especially going up and down stairs. Realized that I was putting my life in danger or at least my bones (I have osteoporosis). These slippers stay on, have a nice non-skid sole, keep my feet warm, have good arch support yet are soft and flexible, and are worth every penny of the extra cost.

Love these slippers. I have a narrow foot and these work. Really feel perfect when I have a thin sock on. Not clunky. If you wanted too, you could wear these outside, I don't. Warm, arch support, and comfortable! I can tell that I will get more than one year out of these slippers; as compared to Uggs brand!

I have a pair of Haflingers that were a major disappointment. Size 5 and way too big. Then recently I bought "Relax slipper" from Orthaheel, & must return them: the 5 was so big my feet slid right through the open toe. So when I read that the Geisswein tend to run a bit small, I thought I might hit the jackpot. Still, I ordered 2 pairs, 5 & 6, just to be sure (never did that before), and lo and behold the size 5 is perfect and the size 6 works too. I am in the house most of the time and the floors are hardwood. I need slippers with arch support and enough cushioning to offset the hard floor. I need to be able to change shoes from time to time throughout the day as well, so I'll keep looking for another pair to give my feet a change of pace. Meantime, these look like they'll be great (just got 'em).

I have had several pairs of boiled wool slippers and there is simply nothing else like them. Warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and with just enough arch support for me to feel comfortable in them for hours even on hard floors (I cannot go barefoot comfortably). I had my fingers so crossed that these would fit well. I have had trouble finding this type of slipper that is not too wide for my slightly narrower than average feet. It was not to be. The beauty of wool slippers is that they feel like you are barefoot, but if they are too wide, you end up scuffing them everywhere and I don't find that to be comfortable. Too bad. I will have to keep looking.

I love these slippers. I wear them most of the day as I am home with two young kids. Prior to getting these, I was in socks most of the day and every night my feet ached. These provide enough support to prevent that; no more foot pain! However, they are not soft and cushy, if that is what you are looking for. The removable insole is more like what you would find in an athletic shoe, though they are wool. I usually wear a size 8 US and bought these in size 40. I like my slippers to be roomy enough to wear thick socks with them, but not so big that I cannot slip them on barefoot and the size 40 is perfect! I also appreciate the non-skid bottom. I have to go up and down wood stairs all day usually carrying a small child and these feel very secure while doing that. I also love that they are machine washable, though I have not actually tried to wash them yet. They appear to be very well made and I like the details and style. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. They felt like a splurge, and they were worth it!

These are so comfy! I wore out my first pair after almost daily use for a few years. Warm, but not as sweaty as shearling. Supportive, yet flexible. Nonskid sole so I don't slip on wood and tile floors. Pricey, but worth it to me.

These are excellent slippers, even for a person like me who has very narrow feet. I bought them to replace a similar Giesswein slipper that I worn out after several years of constant use. I like these even better.

These are very comfortable slippers even for someone like me with plantar fasciitis. They are quite well made as well.

Got these for my mom's hard to fit feet with issues and she has hardly taken them off. She say's that they feel like heaven. Pricey for sure but worth it because mom has happy feet now.

I loved them, but after wearing them around on the carpet, I discovered they were just too small. My heel kept hanging out. They were the size I usually order, but on certain shoes, my instep is too high. I will reorder a size larger.

I am here to order my second pair of these slippers. They are my absolute favorite! I have had my current pair for almost 3 years and wear them just about every day. I am an 8 and when I first received the 8, I thought they were a little tight and debated swapping out for the next size up. So glad I didn't. They stretched just a bit and fit perfectly. I cannot recommend these highly enough.

I really searched for the perfect slipper, and for me, these are it! Superb arch support! Warm and cozy without being itchy or sweaty. I'd love to see more rich color to choose from.

My second pair of ladies Giesswein slippers after I wore out my first pair. Giesswein is great! Good looking, comfortable, fit true to size (39) and nice arch support. I'm hooked!

Best slippers ever! These have an actual orthotic insole which provides arch and heel support. Even better, the insole can be removed so you can use your own custom orthotics. I normally wear an 11 1/2, but go to 45 in European size. Ordered the 45 and they fit perfectly. Mfg's literature claims these are cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather. So far, I'd agree that that is pretty accurate, and much more so than shearling lined slippers I've owned before. Not a huge fan of clog style shoes, but these are better looking than I expected and haven't had a problem keeping them on. I do not usually wear socks with slippers, but these seem like you could. An truly unexpected surprise is that these slippers are washable! Mfg recommends to wash in cool or luke warm water, stuff with paper to restore shape and allow to air dry overnight. Perfect! These appear to be a very good value for the relatively high price.

I love these slippers. The charcoal are my third pair. They fit well, have arch support and the wool breaths so your feet are warm in winter and cool in summer. The arch supports come out and can be washed which is a bonus. I would never wear another slipper, these are the best.

I normally wear an 8-1/2 so ordered a 9. They're much too big so I'll have to exchange them for an 8. That said, they seem very comfortable, so I do hope the smaller size will fit. I really like that the sole is soft, flexible and quiet.

Loved these slippers as they provide moderate support. I've had them a year now, but had them with me only 8 of those months. Nice, sophisticated neutral color. Very hygge. Only complaint: my big toes has just popped right through the upper material! (Note:my toes are quite normal).
