Finally, a slipper that feels heavenly. It conforms to one's foot and is thus custom made. I will re-buy these whenever they become worn. So comfy.

I finally found the perfect slipper!! It has been a search for sure. These have all the requirements I had in mind... they have good arch support, a lightweight flexible sole for those quick trips outside in the wet weather, and they are washable!!! I was tired of trying to wash the smell out of sheepskin slippers. I like them so much I am thinking I might want to buy a second pair in case I can't find them when these wear out.

This is a good slipper. Comfortable, fits snugly, and the soles don't leave marks on my hardwood floors.

First day the fit was a little tight, but it loosens in a few days and is very comfortable. Easy to slip my feet into.

I bought these slippers because of previous reviews. If you have narrow feet (I am a 10½AA) these are the slippers for you. They snug my feet without having to wear socks. They are incredibility warm without making my feet sweat. And the outstanding arch support was a bonus. I highly recommend these.

Bought these for at home because I need slippers with removable insoles. It's been a few weeks now, and I like that they are easy to take on and off and are very comfortable. I have high arches, underpronate (supinate), and usually wear a 9.5.

We bought a pair of these slippers for my mother and she loved them! I received a pair of slippers from the same manufacturer last Christmas and have worn them for a year now. By far they are the best quality slippers I have ever owned, the comfort and construction are far superior to other slippers.

I have had these for about a month, and like them a lot. I was concerned that they might be overly warm and make my feet sweat, but that has not been the case - these are warm, but breathable. They have good arch support, and that little bit of lift makes them easier to walk in - unlike the very flat Scuffs that I have had before. These have been great so far.

These are great slippers. They are warm and comfortable. I went up half a size (I wear 8½ but bought 9) and they fit perfectly. The width is right on. The style and color are great. I highly recommend these slippers for comfort and style.

These were love at first try on! I have tried so many types of slippers, usually having to take them on and off to decide. Since I have all tile floors, have lower back issues along with my senior citizen age, I needed to find a slipper that would fit the bill. Zappos knows that I have returned many slippers but these slippers I never even took off at the first try on. Thank you Zappos for your free S&H both ways, making it so easy to return things as many times as needed until you get the best pick. Also kudos to Zappos staff for always being so available, upbeat and friendly whenever I have a question. Imagine talking to a real person who, on top of that, is getting those questions answered promptly and then wishing you a Zappos day!

As others have written these slippers are the perfect wear around the house slipper. Keeps my feet warm and the sole prevents slipping. I love the fact that they can be washed!

I've worn several other brands of boiled wool slippers in the past, and all have been warm, soft, non-itchy, and comfortable. None are a fashion statement, but hey, they're slippers! This is my first pair of Giesswein's, and where they surpass similar slippers from other manufacturers is in the arch support. They seem to be very well-made -- time will tell. They do run on the very slightly large size -- come winter, when I'll wear them with socks, they'll fit perfectly. In summer, this lets my feet breathe a little more.

Love these slippers! Warm but not hot, washable, comfy for padding around the house. I wear them every day as soon as I get up and as soon as I get home from work. Sizing seems normal.

Too big overall. I'm usually 8.5W, so I ordered size 40 (some reviews suggested that this ran small). They probably run true to size, and the 39 (my usual size) would have fit, I think. Good support, but no heel. Rubber underneath is a plus. Returned since I found 2 others which were perfect for my feet.

These were a gift for my husband. He has narrow feet and most slippers are too wide. These have been a much better fit for him. He also likes that the wool stays warm but also breaths.

Great slippers! Fit good - feel good. I usually buy Haflinger brand but decided to try the Giessweins. Pretty much the same except these particular ones have a rubber sole which I now prefer. Highly recommend.

These slippers are super cozy and soft. They come with a removable insole that has great arch support. I have plantar fasciitis and these slippers really help.

I've tried to buy my husband slippers for the last 3 winters. After at least 20 failures, he's finally happy with this one. Comfortable and warm but not too hot.

These are wonderful slippers for hard to fit feet. They are cozy, and have excellent arch support, which is hard to find in a slipper. I would highly recommend. I ordered another pair in the gray.

I keep seeing reviews that state they run big. That is because they are men's slippers and come in men's sizes. My husband likes them and they look good on as well.

These were exactly what I was looking for - great support and comfort. The sole is rubber so I can step outside if I need to. I love them!

I bought this pair of slippers for my husband and he likes them very much because of the good arch support and the overall look. He did not want black so I got the gray since it looks the least feminine of the available colors. Smart looking slipper and very comfortable. Very happy with this purchase.

Based on the reviews I ordered my normal size 39. I wear an 8 1/2 in women's shoes. When I received these (quickly from Zappos!) I thought they were a little big and based on wool stretching somewhat I decided to exchange for the next size down, 38. The 38 fits better and has no gap in the back of the heel with or without socks.

I love these slippers. They have some arch support which makes them really comfortable. The rubber sole is great when I go out for the mail. They are flexible, too. I normally wear an 8½, I ordered a 9 and they are perfect.
