This is more than I usually spend on slippers but decided to give them a try because of the reviews regarding the high arch. I find them so comfortable that I often wear them all day when I am home. Because I liked them so well, I later ordered the Giesswein Feld with the design on the front. Even though they were the same size, I was very disappointed a couple of months later to find they were much much wider. If I had worn them right away, I would have returned them. I have decided, i will toss the outer shoe and keep the insole. An expensive mistake. e

These slippers are cozy and comfortable. The foot bed has excellent support and the soles are durable. I wear them so much that I ordered a second footbed insert so I can switch it out for a wash. Highly recommend!

I love these slippers. They are soft to the touch, warm and comfortable. Most importantly for me, they have excellent arch support. I give them an A+!

Happily surprised by these slippers. I have narrow feet with high arches. Good snug fit and quality insert with moderate arch support. I also ordered the Haflinger Lovely model, which are too wide and stiff , and now headed back to the warehouse

Fit the bill better than any other slipper. Hubby hates slippers that make his feet sweat and wasn't keen on the idea of wool, but once he got them and tried them, he's sold. Probably will never buy another brand - ever again. These fit comfortably, are easy to walk around in (he doesn't like most slip-on styles but this one works for him), and have a wonderful classic slipper style. And they're easy care, too. What's not to love?

The problem was not at all with the slipper. The size, width and support were fine, but most shoes and slippers cannot accommodate a foot that previously had a very bad break. These slippers do not work for that foot. Other relatives have splurged for this slipper and have loved it.

I have problems with Plantar Fasciitis and need a good support while at home. These slippers are very comfy and supportive without being heavy and hot on my feet. The rubber sole is also good if I need to pop into the garage or out to the garden with the dog. No worries of getting feet wet. Would certainly buy again.

I got these to replace a worn out pair of Haflingers. These fit my narrow feet better, and the arch support is very nice. They also look nicer. The outdoor sole is better too. The soles on the old ones pick up everything from the floor. My boyfriend and I both have long hair, so there’s plenty to pick up!

These slippers are awesome. I’ve worn them in the past and they last forever. The arch was too high for me this time so I couldn’t wear them ??.....I guess my feet have changed

Love these! I kept searching and searching for washable slippers and finally came across these! Not sure how they are after a wash yet but, so far these have been excellent.

I wanted a slipper that wasn’t too warm and these fit the bill. I was pleasantly surprised about the arch support. I also like the fact they can be washed. Would definitely recommend.

Great slipper. I have worn Geisswien and Halfinger for years, Geiss seems more sturdy. Exceptionally comfortable. If narrow foot I would recommend Geisswein, if broader or you like "roomy" I'd try Halflinger. Only reason I had to return is I guessed my teen's size for a holiday gift. Once you start wearing boiled wool slippers you don't go back. They breathe more than shearling yet keep you warm. As to people mentioning wear in the toe area, that will happen with all boiled wool, but it took years of constant wear for that to happen to mine and you just darn them or stitch them. Have so pride in slippers well worn and loved. I wish Amazon would keep more colors in stock rather than an array of neutrals. I prefer ordering these on Zappo than the competitor beginning with A, because three weeks delivery from Germany is a long time to wait when you have cold toes. Hope this helps!

Comfortable to wear around the house. I've had these for several weeks and have found that they have held up well and have good arch support.

Warm and comfy footwear for lounging around the house. They will feel small and snug when you first put them on, but they relax to accommodate your feet very quickly. Don't size up or they will become too large and floppy on the foot.

I LOVE Giesswein and Halflinger slippers and purchased this pair for my boyfriend. They are really outstanding in terms of comfort. They keep your feet warm without making them sweaty and they are very well made (in Germany). The boiled wool can even be washed! A very substantial slipper for someone looking for warmth (without overheating), and support. I have two pairs and my daughter loves hers as well!

I purchased these because Zappos was out of the Haflinger slippers I've worn for years, in my size. Although I still think Haflinger slippers are very good, I actually prefer these Giesswein slippers to Haflinger. The wool seems a little thicker, they have a superior non-slip sole that will last longer than the Haflinger micro bumps, and they don't flare out at the toes or have a center seam like Haflinger's, making them more contemporary and stylish. As others note, they are warmer, too, which is fine with me, although the Haflinger's kept my feet plenty warm.

The only slippers that my husband can wear with his flat feet. The price is will be worth it depending on how long they last. It's been about a month and going strong

I was surprised, great arch support in a slipper. It runs a little large, which is ok with me, easy on and off. I got the purple color, super pretty.

These are very comfortable and seem to give me the arch support I need in slippers.

These are the most comfortable house slippers I've had - the arch support is excellent and they are warm. This is my second pair and I made it a point to find this exact style again because I've the fit is so good.

I wear an 11 & the 44 fits perfect. The wool feels nice on the feet and the arch support is really good. This is my first pair of this Austrian brand and I am pleasantly surprised. Go for it!

Bought these for my husband and he loves them? Loves the comfort and arch support. I have a pair in women's so comfortable and keep your feet warm and toasty but not sweaty. Highly recommend.
