I love them! I have tried a bunch of different brands and Frye always fits me best. These are true to size-I am a true 8.5 with a foot almost considered to be wide but not quite, and I wear 8.5 in Frye usually but also wear 9s frequently in other boot brands. I can wear thick socks with these. They did take some time to stretch and break in to be comfortable-the issue isn't the length or width but rather that the toebox is shallow and needs time to soften and give a bit. Footbed is comfortable. True black.

Love the boot, wish it was slightly wider. Based on the reviews I went with my usual size 38 and it was tight in the width only. I thought they would stretch & soften, but they are still tight.

Beautiful, sophisticated boots that can be dressed up and down. Size was a bit tight but Im going through a breaking in process to get them comfortable. Gorgeous boots that will last a long time. The quality is excellent.

Just received these boots and they are instantly comfortable. Leather is so soft. I typically wear a 7.5 but bought an 8 honestly, I feel like I should have bought my actual size (but apparently I have narrow feet). They do look a little big on my body but Im not used to this style. Overall, I highly recommend - thought about blundstones or docs but fryes are the way. Lifelong addict and this pair is no exception. Ready to stomp in these combats

I love this boot, color, the fit is true to size. I only wish they were a little wider. I would recommend this boot to everyone and anyone I know theyre a little pricey, but I have always bought boots from The Frye Company, an I have never been disappointed.

Boots are very comfortable. Look great! if you have a wider foot you may want to 1/2 size up or stretch them. Otherwise run true to size. Im a US 6 1/2 and thats what I ordered. and they fit.

Love my V- Combats! Have wanted them for a while. They are hard to put on but hopefully will get easier with time as they break in. Im a 7.5 and they fit perfectly!

Love these boots -they are well made, very solid but soft. Comfortable. I may need thicker socks to go with these however. I haven't tested them in the rain. They style beautifully with tunics, leggings and dresses. Worth the expense in my opinion.

I love the color and the smell of quality leather

I love the style, quality and feel of the boot. However I have always purchased a size 6.5 in Frye footwear and this pear was extremely too tight around the top of my foot. I felt like I was wearing a 5.5. I called cust. svc. to explain and they returned my money but the boots were sold out in the bigger sizes.

I've wanted the brown after purchasing the black about 3 years ago. Rubber tread sole is extremely comfortable. Hardly any break-in time needed. Suggest wearing them with a basic foam inner sole for added comfort. One pair made in India, and most recent were from Mexico. Exact same quality in both. Normal shoe size is an 8.5, and found the 9 to be the perfect fit with a regular sock. There's some slippage in the heel, but the padding from the innersoles helps. Not enough to need additional padding or heel inserts. Highly recommend.

These are absolutely beautiful. However, they are too narrow for me. The leather on these boots has a harder hand than the others, which makes them less stretchy. If these are too narrow for you. Try another color/leather. You wont regret. These boots are the best.

Comfortable, chic, and versatile they fit perfect to size im a 7 and ordered a size 7. The leather is flexible not so hard and not too soft ready to be broken in.
