I got the boots, but there's a problem. The heel on the right boot is cracked and not very well glued. Also, the heels on both boots are not the same height. The right one is taller than the left one. I really want to keep them but I'm scared to wear them because I think the heels might come off. Will be returning.

I bought the Veronica Combat Boot in Wine. These are my second pair so I have a strong affinity for them. The color is gorgeous. The only thing I dont love is the size and style of the laces so I will likely find some different ones. I have flat, wide feet and usually wear an 8.5 in regular shoes but wear a 9 in these.

Absolutely size up! I have several pairs of Frye boots in size 9.5, and this was the first time I ever needed a 10. I love these boots so much! I bought the wine color first, and they were so great I snagged the black floral pair when they went on sale! They break in immediately. I get complimented on them constantly!

First when you open the box. The smell of good leather is awesome. I love these boots. This time I bought the black floral. I buy the unique boots. Yes this style does run narrow. Perfect for me. If your feet are wider go up half a size. They go with everything. I have worn them with everything. Very comfortable quality leather boot. You cannot go wrong buying this one.

Terrible!! I ordered an 8.5. They sent one foot 8 and the other foot 9.5. Also scratched. Emailed customer support 4 days ago and no response!!!

Love the color and fit

This is my second time ordering these boots. The first time I order my size 9 and they were just too tight, had return. This time after reading reviews I ordered up a 1/2 size and they fit perfectly. For full disclosure my feet are very narrow. Overall, these boots are very comfortable and go with everything. Love them!!

I love the look of these boots but theyre not very comfortable and very hard to get on and off. Im hoping they get more comfortable as I break them in.

BEST boots ever! Soft supple leather. Very comfortable. Impeccable quality. Will enjoy these for many years to come. Ordered half size up based on other reviews. Couldnt be more pleased!

Love everything about this boot, color, style, the comfort. This is 4th pair of the combat. As you can see, Im big fan of them. Keep them colors coming.

I wish the boots had a zipper as its a bit hard to get your feet in.

This is my fourth pair of Veronica combats. I picked the wine suede (so beautiful in person) and I get so many compliments on them. These are by far the softest and had the least break in time of all the others. No blisters. Comfortable right out of the box. Size up as always with this style

The boots are beautiful, but I'm trying to decide if I should send them back. Everyone said they ran large and Frye recommended I size up, which I did. But the heel slips slightly with walking. Not sure if my actual size would be too small??

Very narrow, go 1/2 size up for more comfort. If you are considering the tall Veronica the leg measurements posted are not accurate, they are much wider at the calf.. very disappointing and not customer support on the matter. If you are looking for a size that is unavailable and on sale, they will not honour the price when they do become available. Filters on pre loved are not working. Love the quality but low score for service and misinformation. My first pair of Frye boots was 45 yrs ago and Im on my 5th pair.

These combat boots are fantastic. Despite being a size 6.5, I opted for a size 7 to accommodate my wide feet and the thick socks I sometimes wear they fit perfectly! Initially, I was worried about comfort, but after breaking them in for a day, I wore them to an outdoor Halloween event with excellent results. Even with flat feet, I wasnt tired, and my feet felt fine, which was a wonderful surprise. However, toward the end of the night, my right boot began rubbing against my Achilles, but pulling up my ankle socks resolved the issue promptly. I've had no problems since then. The boots also drew great compliments from both family and peers. I definitely recommend these boots.

Of all the boots I've ever owned, these are absolutely The Most Uncomfortable. It's not that they're stiff/not broken in, it's that there's almost zero padding in the foot bed. After wrestling with thoughts of returning them, I bought some thin gel insoles; they helped, but now the boots are a bit too snug across the tops of my feet. I love the look, but should've listened to Myles Kennedy!

I bought the burgundy color. The base is made really well and with the suede it doesnt take too long to break them in. They go with pretty much everything and I appreciate that the bottom is not smooth but has some ruggedness to wear in wet weather.

You have to size up they are very narrow. I usually wear an 8, 8.5 was still too narrow, otherwise great shoes. Also not all the style are narrow like this so it makes it difficult for online shopping, but making an exchange was easy.

The boots are well made and very comfortable. So far they have been great. I am between 7.5/8 when it comes to boots and I got the 8. While I might have been able to wear a 7.5, I do have a wider foot so not sure if the 7.5 would be too narrow. Wearing a little thicker socks helps with the 8.

Although I loved these boots dearly, every year they needed to be repaired. Resoled, tear in the leather, and overall wear and tear that didnt make sense for the wear they were getting. I thought Id have them for life.
