I have very flat feet and these give me the support I like while also allowing me to feel the ground with my foot. Great for Crossfit! Fit is like a sock!

Awesome shoes...I've used a number of minimalist shoes (Five Fingers, NB Minimus, Nike Free, etc.) and these are by far the best. The low to the ground platform combined with a layer of protective cushioning has made these great for Crossfit. I use them for running too and recently ran a half marathon in them. Warning about the unisex sizing: I'm a female with narrow feet and I feel like they comfortably fit me. That said, if you are male or have wider feet, I feel like these could be a tight fit.

I am very particular about what I run and workout in. The only problem I had with these shoes is that I did not have them 10 years ago. For running, I have always ran in Brooks Adrenalines or Asics Gel Kayanos. The more cushion the better, right? Wrong (at least for me). I am not a distance runner or anything, but usually run four or five miles a couple times a week. These shoes are awesome. No shin splints. You have to get use to them, though, as you cannot heel strike. For Crossfit, I cannot imagine better shoes. They are very versatile. You can go from Oly lifts to sprints very easily. I recommend these shoes highly. For me, half size down worked best.

Awesome shoes! Fit like a glove. Though my feet are a little wide, and these shoes are supposedly narrower fit based on inov8 terminology, they open up over time to conform to your feet. Get 1/2 a size smaller than your street shoes size as they tend to run a little larger. And Zappos service is amazing! I ordered them 11pm on a Wednesday night, and they had them outside my door by 4pm Thursday! Can't beat that.

I'd tried them all before buckling and buying the 195's: Vibram, Merrell, NB Minimus (MX20 & MT20). It is by far the best minimalist shoe I have ever owned. Fits like a glove and performs like a champ. Are they pricey? Yes. Are they the best looking shoe you've ever seen? Not by a long haul. Is it the best shoe for Crossfit and trail running? Without a doubt. Seeing everyone at my box with them I was skeptical they were just following the trend, however now I'm officially a convert. Well played inov-8, now work on your design.

The Inov-8 F-Lite 195 is an awesome racing flat. I am a 6'2, 230lb athlete and new to "free" (unsupported) running. The F-Lites are comfortable, extremely lightweight and super stylish. The materials and construction are of the highest quality. A great alternative to vibrams for people like me who find the five-toed look a little too weird.

A shoe worth the price. It will last you a long time if you run properly. It might feel tight around your foot but the fabric with no seams will stretch. The shoe needs 15-20 mile break in period since the fabric needs to stretch unlike most out-of the-box-ready-to-go-shoes. Great for both road and trails. Wonderful ground feel. A minimalistic shoe choice.

Very light. Not enough support for me to do any running more than 800meters. Nice and flat for stability with weight lifting

My first long run in these shoes left me with nasty blisters on the top of my foot where it meets my ankle. However, after that initial discomfort these shoes have been awesome for all my runs. Originally I had planned to wear these only for my long runs and continue to wear barefoot shoes for my shorter ones, but these shoes are so comfortable that I pretty much wear them for every run. I run about 35 miles a week and run a long run once a week. These felt great on my last 15 miler!

You can't climb up the side of mountains with these like you can with the Talons, but these are probably the most comfortable and breathable minimalist trail shoes on the market right now for distance. They're great on pavement too.

I love these shoes! I can't say enough about them. They are totally worth the price. I have these and the Minimus and Inov8's, by far, are way better. I Crossfit about 4-5 times a week and I don't use anything else. I run, jump, lift...do it all. Had these for about a month and have worn them in and out of the gym and they look brand new still (so surprised). I'm ready to get more in every color!

I love Innov-8 shoes. I have the 230s and I just got the 195. I use them for mostly Crossfit and a little running. They are great for both. I like the look too. My only complaint is that the white paint at the bottom of the shoe started to flake off almost immediately. I think that is pretty ridiculous for this much money. I will not get the ones with white at the bottom again. I took off a star for this. I emailed both Zappos and Innov-8 about this issue and neither has gotten back to me. Again, I think for this much money the shoes should not look old and worn after a few weeks. Others at my x-fit box have the same issue with the white and black ones. Still great and functional shoe to workout in.

These are excellent shoes for indoor workout or cross-fit.

Great CrossFit shoe, can lift, run, jump, along with wear around town and not look ridiculous. Very happy with these.

Buy these. Do it. I have owned the Inov-8 F-Lite 195's for about a month and a half, and they're seriously the best crosstrainers I've owned, bar none. I wear them primarily for CrossFit, but I also wore them last weekend (3/31/12) for a local 10K run. They're super light, secure, and breathable. Because they're not completely minimalist, they do have a measure of cushion in the sole, and so are a good transition shoe if you should be interesting in working towards a minimalist. Also, the sole of the shoe is very supple and flexible. You hardly notice you're wearing them. Will definitely buy another pair when these wear out. (Perish the thought!)

This show is far and away the best running / walking / multi-purpose shoe i have owned to date. On day one I ran three miles and played two hours of hacky sack in these bad boys. They performed splendidly. They're so light it's almost disturbing. You wouldn't think they have the support they do if you just hold them, but take three steps and you'll be sold. Thanks to the other reviewers for their accurate comments.

These are my favorite running shoes. They are so light they feel like your running barefoot! I just bought my second pair and still love them! I also get compliments on them all the time.

Love them! I use them for Crossfit a noticed a huge improvement in my squat form. My prior shoes were the Nike Free Run 2's and I took a 8.5 in those, I needed a size 8. The return process was easy-they sent me out my correct size the next day! Awesome!

These shoes are definitely more suited to wet roads, grass, and hard dry surfaces. I tried them out on a trail run, and not so good on muddy slopes, but great on dry clay. Incredibly light and very comfortable though. I decided to try these because a friend had inov-8s and loved them, but again, I wouldn't suggest using them for wet and muddy trail running.

Honestly one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Bought in my normal shoe size, fit well. Ran 7.5 miles in 'em the other day. Super light. Decently wide, but can tighten laces to make narrower. for the minimalist who's not quite ready for barefoot or the vibram style quite yet.

These are wonderful. Very lightweight. They feel almost like a slipper with arch support. I liked the look of them online and was extremely pleased to find that they look even better out of the box!

I love these shoes! I've only been running a few years, but starting my running in the original Nike Free 5.0s. I have been a fan of minimalist shoes since. As I move on my shoes get more and more minimalist, but I can't bring myself to run in my Vibram Five-Fingers. I feel I need a 'shoe.' A friend suggested the Inov-8's to me when I was looking for new shoes and it's one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. They're light and very minimal, but still feel like they are a real shoe. The upper and sole don't feel like they're going to fall apart or wear down after a few miles on the road. I love that I can still feel the road under my feel without feeling like I'm going to hurt my feet by having them exposed. A great shoe and I think I'll be an Invo-8 wearer for life now.

These sneakers are amazing. I have purchased many sneakers, but there have been none like these. They look great, feel great and are totally worth the price. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great gym/casual sneaker.

This shoe is amazing! The only problem I had was the shoe laces frayed immediately but I called the called the company and they sent me 3 new pairs. Great shoe great company, will definitely go through them again.

Love these shoes! I use them for Crossfit and will never go back! The color is a little bold to say the least but a sale is a sale. I want them in more colors!
