These shoes are amazing! I wear them for crossfit and they are great for everything, except rope climbing. They are so light weight and you have a much better feel for lifting without giving up anything for running. I normally wear a 13 running shoe, and a 12 dress shoe. I got these in a 12 and they are perfect. There is definitely no room to spare, but you want them snug.

Bought these for my husband to use at CrossFit. True to size, he wears a 10.5. So far he loves them, great for lifting, box jumps and short distance runs.

These are very comfortable shoes and are great for crossfit WODs. I have had them for about a month and they are working out very well. They run true on the size and are a a good fit.

These shoes are amazing. You want a tight fit. My reg shoe size is 7.5 but I got 4 in these so 3.5 sizes down. I wear them with socks and they are absolutely great. I have the Vibram five fingers that I love for Crossfit but they are too cold in the winter so I got Innov-8. I've used them in every workout since I got them.

Love these shoes! I've been crossfitting for 3 years and usually wear Adidas Sambas cause they're good for lifting. Needed a more versatile shoe, especially for running & these are perfect! I love the bright color too.

This has been and excellent shoe. Extremely comfortable and light. I have received many compliments on the shoe as well. Good for the Gym, running, super light weight but great arch support.

Beyond 5-stars! Lightest pair of shoes I owned! They feel awesome when running. They provide all the support your foot needs, feels incredible on your foot!

I got the sneakers because a lot of people in the crossfit community are wearing them. And since I got an opportunity to get them for half off I had to try them at least. My first minimalistic shoe and I liked them at first. However, after a workout with a lot of box jumps and jump rope and burpees, I felt my toes go numb. Maybe because there isn't any padding in them but I tried them 3 other times and it has happened all three times. I have also used them for a 3 hour hike at Robberg Bay and they were very good for that. They were the only sneakers I had on vacation and they held up great plus no toe numbness. And with all the rocks I had to pass through, they barely showed any wear. And due to their mesh and bottom sole, they dried out quickly when I got caught in a wave and my legs got wet. Definitely recommend but for me, I just won't do a crossfit workout in them if I have to do those said exercises. But still a little expensive for me at retail for what they are.

Love the shoes for crossfit! However, I ordered 1.5 sizes up and they were too big. Should have ordered only 1 size up.

This is great for crossfit work outs. The jury still out on running. The overall fit and comfort is excellent.

I'm not into crossfit like most of the reviewers here. I use this shoe for long distance off road trail running. If you've adapted to minimal shoes, or want to, this is a great option. Very low heel-to-toe drop (3mm) which promotes a natural forefoot strike and they provide excellent ground feel and foot placement. Great sticky rubber sole that does well on dirt and over rocks. There's not much cushion here, but that's basically the idea behind minimalist running. A little practice on trails, even rugged terrain, and these will have you cruising along nicely - while making your feet and calves stronger. Buy a half size smaller than regular running shoe.

I bought these magnificent pair of running shoes after doing some extensive searching for reviews and looking at alternatives. If you are looking for a light pair of running shoes that will force you to step on your mid-sole I would recommend these. They are a tad on the pricey side, but I feel they are worth every penny. I do have two problems with this shoe though: the toe-box can feel constricting with the sole in and the cuff (top, back of the shoe) rubs against the back of the foot if you are running without sock which can lead to chaffing. Overall though I really do enjoy running and working out in this shoe.

Love these for CrossFit! Had read reviews they ran small but wasn't the case for me. Also, don't measure from the Inov site because will be too big! Thank you zappos.com for being so kind to return/ship out so promptly at no charge so I got the right size after 3 tries! Very cool!

I absolutely love the 195s. I have been an avid crossfitter for a few years now and have been wearing Inov8s for a couple of years. I had always gone with 220s for road work and 235s for doing WODs but I bought pair of these on the recommendation of my fiance and can't get enough of them. They are light and comfortable just as you would expect from Inov8 but they seem to have a little more forefoot cushioning than my 235s. They work great on trails too and keep snug around my ankle which was a weakness with my New Balance MT 101s. Great shoes!
I'd also recommend:

Felt true to size. Extremely comfortable, feels like you're wearing a slipper. Took some time to get used to because of the lower profile, but I’ll never go back to those old running shoes!

This is a great crossfit shoe. I find that I can run faster and easier during a hard wind because of how light they are. I do not regret buying these and am glad I did. I wear a women's 7½ but next time will get a 7, as these are a little larger than an average shoe size.

I love these shoes. They are light, comfortable and support my feet nicely. I purchased my normal shoe size and it was perfect. I have narrow feet and they laced up to fit them comfortably. I use them for Crossfit: running, lifting, jumping, you-name-it! They work great.

A really great, cool shoe. Extremely lightweight, low-cut. The red color is an eye catcher. Very comfortable. Wear good socks. Maybe not as durable as some trail runners.

These shoes are great once you get the right size. I originally went half a size smaller than I normally do and found that I needed to go another half a size smaller to get it correct. Thankfully Zappos has such a great return policy. Also, I do Crossfit and these shoes are amazing! They provide enough support without adding unnecessary padding. Anyone looking for a minimalist shoe for working out/running - you can't go wrong with these!

Most minimalist shoes lack lateral support. I find the Inov-8s to be exceptional in this area. With that said, I don't think the 195's lacing system is as good as the 230's lacing system (subtle, but there is no double eye at the top to lock the laces on the 195s). Another aspect of the Inov-8s I like are the soles of the shoe, which don't slip. One thing to note, however, if you have a wider foot this may not be the shoe for you. They tend to run a bit narrow in my opinion.

Super light and very comfortable. I would recommend to everyone. They did seem to run about 1/2 size big. Other than that buy them when they in stock. :)

Extremely comfortable, light shoe. Fits with extra space at the toe box so some people might go half a size smaller. I didn't and the still fit and run great. It takes some getting used to running in shoes with this little support, but it's worth it. I would never go back to my Nike Airmax 360s.

Good looking, comfortable, minimalist shoe. Looks good with jeans or shorts. Everyone asks me about these shoes whenever I wear them. 3rd pair of Inov8's and I'll be back for more.

Awesome for crossfit! Light, comfortable, flat, minamalist. I'm usually between a 7 and 7.5, glad I got a 7 (mens 5.5).
