I have been looking for comfortable black heels for over a year now, I have tried over 6 different kinds that claimed they were comfy. I decided that since Zappos has an awesome return service I would find some here. After reading the reviews on these Cole Haans I was sold, I figured I had to spend some more money to get the best quality and comfort along with something that should last. I got them and I love them! I don't wear heels often because my feet are sensitive and always hurt in heels, but these are comfy! The heel height is good and still gives you that sexy look. They will be great come tradeshow season. Love the grippys on the bottom too for support.

Purchased this shoe for a 3 day conference that I knew I would be on my feet the entire time. With no time to break the shoes in, they were still perfect.

A basic and classic pump. Very comfortable and I really like the tread on the bottom of the shoe - I will likely order more to keep on hand as this is a staple!

I first ordered a 7 but they were a little tight so I sent them back and reordered a half size up and those were perfect. They have a nice size heel and no blisters. I can dress these up with slacks or dress down with jeans. I can wear these all day and not get tired. They provide great arch support and do not show any toe cleavage.

This shoe is amazing. The sole is very strong and my feet feel supported. Cole Haans are almost always a half size smaller so I order accordingly. I can wear this all day and walk across a college campus and still be comfortable. They're as close to a sneaker as you'll get in a dress or work heel. I get a few compliments on them too since the toe is cute and rounded and the shoe is very subtle but looks expensive. The non-slip sole really works and has held up well.

Classic black patent heels, with the comfort of Cole Haan's Air technology. I had to order a half size up since the toe box was quite tight in my usual size. I'm a little concerned that they might slip in the heel, but I think it is snug enough on the sides of the heel to not be a problem.

I wore these to a special event which lasted 7 hours without breaking them in. Felt fantastic until the very end of the night when my feet finally started to feel sore. Very comfy, stable and cute. I loved it in the patent leather. My sister got a slightly different version (the peep toe in a higher heel), and had to sit for most of the night, so I think this size heel was the best bet for those not used to wearing pumps very often. Excellent service from Zappos, as always I received shoes the next day after ordering.

The shoe is well made and very comfortable. It is true to size. The heel is just right height. I can wear them all day long.

After reading the reviews on some of the Cole Haan air shoes, I wasn't sure what to expect, but this shoe is awesome! It is the most comfortable dress shoe that I have ever owned. Also, I ordered them from Zappos at 9:30pm. They were on my doorstep the next day! I love Zappos service.

This is a comfortable shoe. It is well made. It looks very good on the foot. My heel is narrow and I have high arches. This shoe stays on but does not leave blisters on your heels.

Great classic & stylish pump. These are super comfortable, and the patent and shape give them style. The sole has rubber treads so you don't slip. Definitely recommend these for a basic heel.

Most comfortable heels I've ever owned. They feel like slippers, they're more comfortable than my flip flops. They run really small, I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, but tried them on at a store and needed a 9. They're a bit wide also, but the roominess is comfortable. The rounded toe makes it okay for work, but not quite snazzy enough for a night out - a little frumpy.

These are perfect work shoes...yes, they are simple but extremely comfortable from the very first day. Plan on wearing them for an upcoming 3 day trade show.

Fantastic shoe! Love it! Comfortable for hours, no break in time, perfect height. I am a 9.5 to 10 and I got the 10. I am pretty consistently a ten in Cole Haan.

Beautiful shoes but I have difficult feet to fit - and they cut slight low in the front and hurt my one foot that is wider. Normal foot fit perfect. Was sad to return.

I've always had a hard time finding something that fit me comfortably and looked cute with my annoyingly wide feet. I love the rounded-ness these shoes offer at the front, and they're definitely comfy for the 4+ hours I wear them at work every day. Would recommend.

Fits true to size. I love the look and proportions. The toe is rounded and not too narrow or pointy, which I do not like. The sole is great because there's the built in rubber tread. This is very professional--especially since I will be working at a conservative investment bank environment. I already also purchased this in Dark Chocolate!

I had knee surgery two months ago, so I'm not super stable. These heels were awesome. They're not very high, but the heel is high enough to be pretty. And the rubber on the bottom kept me from loosing my footing. The only heels I felt comfortable in with an expensive new knee. And I still like them know, when I can wear more shoes. Also, the patent leather is gorgeous. They don't look orthopedic at all.

I returned these because they were too tight in the toe. I thought about ordering them in wide, but then the heel would probably have been too big.

Classic style. The most comfortable pump I've ever worn. I usually wear a 7 1/2 but the 8 fit perfectly.

The shoes look very similar to the picture. They are light and very easy to walk in.
