I wish I could wear Merrells since they have a very comfortable sole, but the medium width is just too wide for my narrow feet. I wish they came in a size narrow. These were a nice style although they looked a bit big with the sole extending beyond the shoe. I was hoping an ankle boot style would keep my feet from sliding around too much, but my heel just slid around the shoe too much. Otherwise the size was good.

These are great casual boots but not as comfortable as I hoped they would be. Slip just a tad so I will probably add a comfort cushion. Not for walking long distances if you have sensitive feet.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe. I needed something waterproof and comfortable. They certainly fit the bill.

These boots run large and the thick sole that extends 3/8" made my size 9.5 feet look gigantic. In black, the leather is very matte and slightly pebbled, so if you're not sure if the boots are dressy enough for you, they probably aren't. I haven't been able to find many flat, waterproof, leather boots, so I may still exchange for a half size smaller. Hopefully in the smaller size my feet will only look really big.

These boots are very comfortable even on hiking trails. They are not as stylish as I would like, but make up for style in comfort.

I love this boot! It's a little hard to get on but once on, it fits like a glove and wears very well. Next to Keens, Merrells are my favorite brand and this one does not disappoint.

Good waterproof boot; I wore in March around slushy streets in Colorado. Comfortable and light weight; easy on/off at the airport, too.

These are very comfortable and keep my feet nice and dry. They feel slightly clunky and maybe not quite as stylish as I thought they would be from the picture online.

This is a great boot, really comfortable and seems like you could pull them on and go...except the brown color was kind of ugly - mottled and unwearable in my opinion. If I needed a pair of black boots, I would consider exchanging them. The color thing is the hardest part about buying shoes online. That's why Zappos return policy is so great.

I bought these last year. I love the style of these Merrell shoes, but the soles are very cheaply made. I have these boots and a Merrell Tetra shoe, and the soles wear out in just a few months. It was such a shame. I really love these boots, but the heels are all ragged and torn up now. And I don't even wear them every day! I expect better for what I paid for them!

Not bad, tho feel a bit on the clunky side, especially at the ankle. Functional but just not that attractive or especially comfortable.

I love Merrell shoes. I was truly disappointed when these did not fit on my feet! All of my Merrells are a size 7.5 and fit perfectly. These, however, seemed very narrow and tough to get on. I can't comment on how they fit because I wasn't able to get them on! I will definitely order more Merrell shoes in the future.

I had this pair of boots for about 2-3 months. Cons: very slippery (almost felt once), ugly and not easy to pull on. Pros: like walking on air, keep my feet dry no matter how heavy the rain is.

Not a winter boot, not very warm. Looks okay, but leaves my feet cold. Very waterproof! That's a feature I often look for.

This was my first Merrell purchase--not impressed. I've worn them gently less than a dozen times and discovered that the boots are NOT waterproof. Both shoes leak around the big toes. I'm going to write the company, but this is an annoying thing to deal with considering the price. Also, they are clunky looking and not stylish. I'm upgrading to a waterproof pair of La Canadienne or Aquatalia boots that I can at least wear for work occasions.

I purchased this version of Merrells two winters ago, and have worn them out. With that in mind, I purchased these in hopes that they would fit similarly. Unfortunately they've changed the construction of the toe area and it is much narrower than their previous versions. Overall this version didn't fit my feet.

Not very comfortable - hard to put on if you have a high instep and top pushes against your leg, when you walk. I normally love Merrell's and own several pairs, but these are going right back.

This boot is water proof, up to but NOT including that side zipper. Which is located less than 2 inches from the ground. I couldn't give it zero stars... but I wanted to. I purchased this a summer motorcycle boot. Absolutely not good for the rain and wasn't comfortable enough when it was dry.

I really want to love these shoes. They're cute, comfortable and from a great brand. But! The soles started falling apart within two months of purchase (and regular wearing). Six months after purchase, the leather on the toes is a worn, blotchy color that looks years older than the rest of the boots. The soles are cracked, and most of the tread has peeled off the heels. Very disappointing for a pair of shoes that cost this much.
