This boot really delivered! Comfortable and water resistant. We live on a farm and go out with our dogs and this boot really kept my feet dry and warm. A little wide in the forefront but with thick socks I could wear them all day. Zappos is like having a shoe store next door. Service is speedy and returns are a cinch.

LOVE these boots. Straight out of the box comfortable, no break-in required, and I like that there is a little room in the toe box. My toes aren't all squished together, but they don't make my feet look wide either. Looking forward to wearing them on dog walks in the rainy Seattle Fall, Winter, and Spring! I think I'm getting them in brown too just so I have options.:) Great for casual wear. Also I can't rave enough about Zappos wonderful service.

Great boots! They live up to the expectations I had for them. The only negative about them is the color. The boots are a bit dappled in patchy color, but this isn't evident from a distance and not noticeable when wearing them. You might also consider ordering a half size up if you want to wear with thick socks.

What a great boot! Ordered a smidge bigger to accommodate thicker socks. Got them for a trip to Iceland. They were comfy right out of the box. Never broken in and they were awesome- best ever!! My friend ordered them too and said the same thing. We both raved about them on our trip!

Bought these waterproof boots for my Alaska trip this fall. Quality brand and the look is a little dressier than the usual sport look so it will blend in well with most outfits. Ordered 1/2 size up to allow for socks. Very comfortable, no need to break in, very pleased.

I love these boots. They are extremely comfortable and offer a surprising amount of support. (I say this as someone with a history of knee problems.) When it rains, I wear them all day at work and my feet and knees are never tired at the end of the day. And of course my shoes and feet stay completely dry. I've ordered several Merrell shoes from Zappos and these are definitely my favorite.

These shoes are great -- just what I needed. I walk and take public transit everywhere in the snow and rain and need comfortable shoes that keep my feet warm, dry, and blister-free. These are great. The only complaint is that they aren't the most fashionable boots in the world. They're a little too round in the toe. I have big feet (size 9.5), so they look kind of clunky. Someone I know who wears a size 6 or so and they look much cuter on her, for what it's worth. But I think if they were more fashionable, they'd have to be less comfortable. They're certainly not ugly, just not the most fashionable shoes.

These were exactly what I wanted, a comfortable, casual, low-heeled, ankle-high brown boots to wear with jeans. I was pleasantly surprised that they are so comfortable to walk in, and I got an identical pair in black 'cause I like them so much! Merrells will last for years so they are worth the high price. I have always worn a 9M in Merrells, even though I wear 9.5 or even 10 in other brands. Remember, they are leather, so they will stretch out and even if they feel snug the first time you put them on. If you want to wear thick socks with them, order at least a half size up. But if you just wear thin socks, they are true to size for Merrells. Soles are extremely non-skid (almost sticky, in a good way). These are not pretty or elegant or even classy, but they are ideal for casual, comfortable, sturdy boots you can wear all year round.

Love these boots. I have worn them almost everyday since they arrived almost a month ago. Not only are they warm and keep my feet dry, but they are stylish enough to not have to change when I get to the office! There was zero breaking in period, which I love. I'd recommend to anyone!

Exactly what I was looking for. Seemed true to size. Very comfortable. I'll be wearing these on my trip to NYC in January.

Love these but I almost sent them back initially. The first time I tried these on I thought they didn't fit at all! They have an unusual feel as you pull them on - your foot doesn't go straight in, it has to go sideways as well. So glad I gave them a chance. Just what I needed for this rainy winter weather. Perfect with jeans.

Very surprised by the comfort of this boot. I wear when it's wet or snowy out. They keep your feet warm, so they actually are waterproof. There is room in the ankle to move around without feeling sloppy and large.

Love them! Would recommend to anyone needing a casual waterproof boot.

Love these boots! Roomy in the toe which allows for thicker socks! Did great in the ice and snow! Feet stayed dry, but toes got a little cold, but otherwise very comfortable.

Love these boots! I wanted to wait until the rain and snow arrived in order to give an accurate review. I find that they are nice and roomy, on the wider side but great to accommodate thick winter socks. The sole is definitely non-slip. Great waterproofing too. Not once have my feet gotten wet.

Awesome boots! No break in period. They feel like moccasins. The tread is acceptable - haven't worn them in any kind of wet weather. Super comfortable. They look great with jeans. I wear an 8 and ordered a 7.5 based on other reviews and they are perfect with a thin pair of socks.

These are great boots. They have style, comfort and durability. I have large calves and they fit well. I have custom orthotics and I removed the insole on these boots and put in my own insole with no problem. I really like these boots.

Fits perfectly (I'm usually a size 8½, but I usually wear thinner hiking socks with these) and very comfortable for walking all day. Keeps my feet dry as I've been sloshing through the snow in the Twin Cities, but not much for totally warm. Overall, good looking boot to wear daily.

Great boots! They were comfortable right out of the box and I have hard to fit feet! Good quality, side zipper is convenient. And I love Zappos! Great service with a sense of humor.

Great shoes! Work well with jeans or semi-dress wear. Look great. A little flat with minimal arch support, but otherwise, perfect.

Good boots. I need something to commute in, bike in and look dressed up enough in while making it through Chicago winters. I have wide feet and am hard on shoes. These are my go to boots. Have a similar pair in black.
