Wow! Super comfortable. I have a 6.5W foot and these fit perfectly. Great for city walking. Wonderful in the snow.

So happy with this boot. Comfy right out of the box. Good support. I am usually a size 10 but took a size 9.5 in this boot.

Great lightweight boot! I put a more supportive insole in them and wear them all day, even working inside. Nice and wide for my wide foot.

My sister in Oregon told me about Zappos and I must get a pair of these boots. I absolutely love them. They are roomy, supportive, versatile. They are already becoming my uniform. I must order brown ones, too! The waterproof sold me, as well.

Great boots! Super comfortable, well made, good looking boots. I wear a size 8 and ordered the 7.5. They fit perfect with a thin pair of socks.

I absolutely love this boot, and I am the pickiest shoe wearer ever. They are essentially flat, have a removable insole (though the ones they come with are fairly good), and look very very hip. They don\'t go well with skirts for some reason, but I am thrilled to have a pair of shoes that are practical and good looking. Some people have written theirs are too small - mine are at least a size larger than my other Merrells with different soles.

This boot is exactly what I was looking for - functional, comfortable, and not too clunky.

This is my first pair of Merrell's and I love them! They are super comfortable. I work in retail, so comfort is essential.

This is a surprisingly comfortable boot. I have wide feet that are slightly flat with small heels, and have always found shoes hard to fit. I walk every where and these boots look good and are easy to walk in. Highly recommend them.

So far, I've been very happy with this boot. I haven't gotten to test how waterproof it is, but it has the comfort and look I wanted, so it's fine for me no matter what. Not the most fashionable boot in the world, but you can walk all day in them. The brown leather is slightly distressed, so it makes a nice casual look to go with jeans. I ordered a size 7 (usually wear 7 or 7 1/2) and they are comfortable even with socks on. Unless you are going for a more trendy look, you won't be disappointed with this boot.

Comfortable, breathable, & definitely waterproof (had proof of this in a recent torrential rain storm that had my pants soaked but my feet dry). And they're kind of cute.

I had an awful time last year finding leather waterproof boots. I found some that were stylish and fit poorly, some that claimed to be waterproof but ended up stretching and letting in water. I have wide feet (or, too tall above the ball of the foot) but these were awesome! The shape and color are both a little strange - they're rather round and wide, which fits my feet perfectly. The brown color is mottled and splotchy, but not distressed. Doesn't exactly look natural, but I figure I'll rub some shoe polish on them when they get scuffed and it'll blend in. But they're comfortable, warm, and waterproof. A win!

I range from a 9M to a 9.5W. I decided to keep the 9.5s, since they are winter boots. The fit is excellent. Enough room in the toes and the ball of the foot, but no heel slippage. I haven't tried them in the rain or snow yet.

I like the fit and the look, but I am not happy with the lack of traction. I was walking on a wet floor and almost slipped. Now obviously, water is slippery and not much can be done about that. However these boots offered absolutely no traction whatsoever. I felt like I was skidding on ice. And my objective for purchasing these boots was to (hopefully, anyway) wear them in the winter, not anymore.

Good boot. Like the way it looks, works great with straight and skinny pants. Also warm. The only issue is that I have a narrow foot and wear othodics. It's usually hard for me to wear a 9.5 because of the orthodics, so I ordered a 10. Pretty loose, but not unbearably so. Just a little too wide, but with smartwool hiking socks, the boots fit perfectly. Also, the boot are very waterproof. Wore them on a drenching day, and I was impressed with their performance.

This is a very comfortable shoe once you get it on. It is a little stiff, but worth the effort. I have plantar fascia, so I always put a heel cup in my shoes. Since Merrell's usually run a bit small, I initially ordered a 7 (I wear a 6). This is a wide shoe (plenty of room in the toe box) so I had to return the 7 for a 6 1/2. Perfect.

I bought these boots to wear during a winter vacation in Europe, and they have stood up well to various weather and terrain. My feet don't hurt after long days of sightseeing, which is unusual and nice, and they are waterproof against snow and rain, even walking through puddles. My only complaints are that they are not particularly warm, so I've needed two pairs of socks, and they run about a half-size larger than advertised. I'm a 9.5, which I ordered, and even with the double socks they are still a bit loose. All told, though, these were my first pair of Merrells, and I'll be buying more!

I'm a big fan of Merrell shoes & I love the practicality of this one -- it's a rainboot you can actually walk in. I had to order a full half size smaller than my usual, though, and even so it feels generous to a fault -- a big boxy foot bed. Great for walking the dog, less so for appearing in full public.

I ordered these sturdy little boots for our wet winter weather after I saw a friend wearing them. They are very comfortable, without needing any break-in time. I did replace the insole with super feet orthotics for less flexibility and better arch support. I do better with rigid support.

I wanted a waterproof boot that I could wear all day. This fit the requirement. However, this is not a winter boot. It is not lined - which is fine - but the soles are very thin. It would be perfect for Chicago winter with wool socks and a thicker sole. As it is, the cold travels right through the bottom. Also, I'm not sure how waterproof it will be, since the zipper goes very far down. It seems like one step in a puddle will have water leaking through the zipper. Overall, I'd give it 3½ stars.

I just got my boots last night just as a winter storm sat in. They are a wide, great for ski or thermal socks. Very stylish and waterproof. Great to wear when you don't want to wear your big bulky boots.

Lacking the comfortable foot bed and arch support is lacking. I wanted to use these as an all-in-one office snowy rainy day shoe, but I couldn't see myself walking in them all day.

These are acceptable waterproof boots, but they are not the ideally comfortable walking experience I expect from Merrell. The leather bumps against the back of your leg-- and it's not soft. Also, if you wear thick socks (vs. tights), so size up.

Comfortable to wear every day. Looks nice enough to wear to work. Definitely waterproof.

These boots are as comfortable and well-made as I have come to expect Merrells to be. My only complaint is that they are too roomy from top to bottom and I need to wear thicker socks to prevent my feet from moving around too much inside and possibly developing a blister on top of my toes as a result. I love the removable inserts so I can easily replace them with my orthotics. A word about Zappos: they upgraded my order from the least expensive shipping option to the fastest, for free!
