I love my new boots. They look great with skirts and leggings and they keep my feet warm and dry. My 26 year old daughter complimented me for finally buying cool boots. I bought them for the fit and the quality, being cool is a bonus! They are a bit too warm to wear inside for extended periods, but perfect for shopping, church, etc. I would not recommend them if you have large calves as they made for someone with thin legs.

These boots are awesome and super comfortable.. I wore them entirely during my holiday London this winter. It did not hurt my feet whatsoever, no blister nothing. I loved it.. We knew we would be doing a lot of walking as we were mostly using the underground tube as transportation and with that would be walking a ton. It snowed in London (4 inches) and the boots kept my legs warm over my jeans. So that was a nice bonus. I highly recommend this boot to anyone who is looking for comfort.

Absolute perfect boot! Super comfortable looks great with leggings as well skirts. You just can't go wrong with this one!

These shoes are the best boots I've ever had. We had 15 inches of snow last year and I was able to walk through it fine in my waterproof boots. They are comfortable, utilitarian, and fashionable. You should get these boots! I love mine. It is the most money I have ever spent on a pair of shoes and it was well worth it. I love to wear them with a pair of skinny jeans and I zip the jeans right up into the boot. On snow days I can wear them under my suits and no one has a clue that it is a boot - they look nice enough to wear with my suits. Hope this helps! Buy them!

Only had these a week, but love these boots so far! Super warm and comfy right out of the box. No problem trudging around the sloppy wintery slush - feet stayed dry! Not the cutest, but practical and more stylish than most winter boots. Glad I went a half-size up when ordering. Overall, quite satisfied.

Love Zappos, I received my boots less than 24 hours after placing the order. Absolutely beautiful boots. Unfortunately, no good for larger calves. Couldn't even zip them up even though I ordered half a size larger than I usually wear. They are going back.

I am really happy with these boots. I wanted a pair of boots that had a heel, were nice enough to wear with a dress, and yet warm for the winter and I found them. The boots are true to size and comfortable. I have a very average calf size and they just fit. Very warm and almost too much for inside.

These boots are fabulous! I got them yesterday and wore them to walk in the Athens Christmas parade last night. At the end of the night my feet were fine from 3+ hours of walking and standing with no tiredness. The calves are a little snug, but I have large calves and so it was an effort to stretch them to fit as they were stiff, but I'm glad I did. These boots will see a lot of use. I just wish Merrell made large calf boots. These also felt like they ran small, as originally I ordered a 6. The same size I have in other Merrells, and had to move to a 6, as the 6 was too small. Zappos service is the best!

I bought these boots to wear walking around NYC when we recently visited. They are not super cute, but they are perfect for the winters here in Syracuse. They are VERY warm - too warm to wear inside for too long. But they are so comfortable to wear outside and around the city. No blisters!

Bought these based on all the positive reviews and they are all that and a bag of chips! Arrived yesterday, wore them today to run errands--could not be more comfortable and they look great! Not my normal go-to brand, but I've had good luck with the few Merrell's purchased in the past and these did not disappoint.

Boot perfection. Tall enough for 5'8" me. Stretchy enough to accommodate my circulation-challenged right leg. Totally waterproof. And this morning I walked the dog in 5" of snow with no slipping. Bought these for Paris. Love them in Dunsmuir. Oh -- and compliments every time I wear them. What's not to love?

Super-ultra-comfy boot! Feels like a perfectly-broken-in tennis shoe with great arch support and padding and bounce. I feel like I could go jogging with these! I do agree with other reviewers that those with athletic calves may find the shaft a wee bit on the snug side; hopefully they will stretch somewhat with a little more wear. Also - though not the most feminine boot, still quite versatile and very nice on the feet right out of the box.

Nice boots, they keep my feet warm and dry walking in the rain, but it takes a little while to stretch the leather so it fits your calves. Best advice -- stuff the heck out of them with socks, tshirts, scarves or whatever you have, the more you can stuff them the better. That way it is easier to zip up if you have big calves like me.

I'm super happy with these boots! Very comfortable and yet totally stylish and waterproof! I bought them for my upcoming trip to Paris where I want to stay fashionable, but warm and dry. Totally recommend them!

Very comfortable and warm boot. Stylish enough to wear with skirts. I am able to wear boot over skinny jeans, although it is a tight fit zipping them up.

I've been looking for these boots for a long time. I wanted waterproof because part of the point of boots in the fall/winter is because jeans take so long to dry after a journey into the office. I wanted skid-proof soles so I wouldn't worry walking over wet leaves. I wanted a slight heel so they'd look feminine, but not so high that I'd worry about walking. Light was important: I didn't want to feel exhausted after my mile-long commute. And stretch or width was important because my calves are on the wide side. And here it all is together. I get compliments all the time, and I'm truly as comfortable in these as I am in sneakers.

Really comfy! Good padding, but just not quite enough room for my 14.5" calves. Bummed to send them back!

I bought these boots 3 years ago and I still wear them! I have flat feet and I can never find comfy shoes unless they are sneakers. These are the best boots I ever worn! The only downside is that they are not dressy to me; I wouldn't wear these boots with skirts for work, so I only wear them with pants over the boots. I have worked for long hours without even feeling my feet. I wish they make them more dressy.

Thrilled! I love this boot. I just took them out of the box and I can say the search for the perfect winter boot is finally over. It's comfy, real leather, and looks great with leggings or skinny jeans tucked in PLUS it's functional for wet weather. For the price, it's hard to beat. I've tried rain boots, but the fit has been awkward and I haven't been able to get past the rubbery smell! These I can't wait to test outside. I went up a half-size and glad I did, for while I have room in the toe, the rest of my foot feels cradled just right, no slippage. They're not clunky and as a casual boot are funky enough to be flattering.

Fantastic boot. I\'ve been working in Europe during the wintertime and didn\'t know how to prepare for the cold since I\'m from a temperate climate. These are warm, waterproof and incredibly comfortable. Lots of walking in Europe including cobblestones and even with plantar fascitis they are supremely comfortable. They even protected my foot when I fell on the train platform and wedged my foot between the platform and the train. They came out unscathed!

This was a very comfortable boot, the fit and style were great. I decided not to keep this boot because I thought it was a little too casual for an office work boot which was my goal. Very tough decision though, I almost kept it for comfort alone! Would be a great casual boot, seemed like it would be comfortable for a lot of walking. Also a warm boot with the lining.

I like my boots very much. I wear a size 11M or W depending on the designer, and could hardly find nice looking walking boots. Well these have solved that problem. They keep my feet warm and dry which is much needed here in NYC. They maybe a little pricey. Still okay though for the quality.

I just got a size 6 1/2 because the 6 was too tight zipping up on the calf and these are still a bit tight. I am a very petite person - 113 lbs, 4'11" - and they go right below my knee, which I love. I gave the style 3 stars just because they are so tight on the leg! I tucked my skinny jeans into them and it was a real struggle to zip up! Arrgh. I love the look with skinny jeans tucked in too! I wish they came in a bit wider calf! I have to say that I love the feel of the air cushioned footbed. It feels so nice! I'm looking forward to doing all my errands and shopping and walking to the office in them! Love that!

These boots are absolutely beautiful, but I do think they may be giving me some issues with one ankle. My right ankle feels weak after I wear them. I teach pilates so usually wear Danskos, but Merrill always makes great things too and this boot is sexy, yet casual.
