I had spent at least a month looking for ankle boots for the season. To no avail, after sending at least ten pair back, I happened upon this shoe and read the reviews. This is the best shoe I have ever owned in terms of comfort, size (8B) and wear-ability. It's as good as a boot and keeps my feet warm but not hot and is great for walking. It gives lots of support. I am used to wearing Earth shoes but didn't find any new styles this fall that made me want to buy them. The Merrell Encore Ice is my new "go to" brand. Love, love, love this shoe.

This is my second pair of these. I wore the first pair daily for 2 or 3 years! This are great for keeping your feet cozy indoors and out. Great arch support too. Love these!

I love these shoes/slippers. I use them as slippers for walking around the house in the winter. This is my second pair. They are supportive and snug. I can also wear my orthotics with them which is a huge plus.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased! I have a fused ankle so I have a difficult time finding comfortable good looking shoes. They keep your feet warm and toasty and they're very stylish. I wear them everyday to work. They look nice with everything from jeans to dress slacks.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are so comfortable. Because I have feet issues from years of dancing, these feel like slippers with support. I also have very high arches, and my custom arch supports fit perfectly in these shoes.

I just received the Encore Ice--India Ink. Very comfortable, good support with an inner sole that can be removed so I can insert my added supports. The sheep lining is thick and the size is right on. I am using the shoes as slippers. However, they are great for outside/cold! Highly recommend these shoes.

I bought a pair and just love them. I live in upper MI gets pretty cold and so far so good.

Perfect from the moment I put them on. Like a warm cozy slipper but with really great support. They are fully lined with sheepskin and warm enough to wear without socks.

These shoes are very comfortable. I bought two pairs (one to wear inside the house instead of slippers). They are very well made, like all Merrells and have excellent arch support. The fuzzy interior is just right for cold days. Highly recommend.

These have become my most-used shoes. Easy on and off (no hands!), very comfortable, look good enough, warm. They really feel great on my feet! Highly recommended.

These are my first ever pair of Merrell shoes and I am so happy with them. They are like wearing a pair of slippers. They are absolutely the most comfortable shoes and are so soft and warm with the shearling lining! Great for the cold winters months to come.

I found these to be big! I usually wear a 39/8-8.5 so I ordered the 8, thinking I would wear them without socks. The 8's were a full finger depth too big and they slipped terribly, returning them for a 7.5.

Love these shoes! I am into my second winter wearing these shoes as house "slippers"...they don't slip; the grip is great. Bought a second pair I found on sale in brown as a back up pair. They are so comfortable and warm. Bought my dad a pair and he loves his too.

I slid my bare feet into these right out of the box and haven't taken them off. Uber comfy! Warmy! Yummy! Love 'em!

My favorite shoe of all time - warm, comfortable enough for all day wear and very durable. I'm going into my 3rd year of wear with these and am only now noticing the support is not as good as it was and they are looking beat up. But other than summertime, this was my shoe almost 24/7 for the rest of the year(s)! Expensive but comfort like this is well worth it!

Very warm, stays on foot well for being a flat slip-on. I am flat footed and sometimes walk out of shoes if they do not fit properly. After 8 hours of standing at work, my feet get slightly uncomfortable since my foot expands beyond the insole.

I absolutely love these shoes! They do notslip off your feet like some clogs. They keep my quick to freeze toes warm in Wisconsin winters. They are easy on and off.

I got these because I needed a comfortable shoe with good support all day. The lining hugs your feet but like others have said, they do not make my feet sweat. I got my normal size, a 5, and they fit fine. I usually wear thin socks with these, but can also wear my cushier workout socks, which don't get bunched up. Even tried them barefoot, no sweating! Not the most stylish, but they are so comfy I don't care! I had the jungle mocs before, which I love, but the lining in this one makes it way better!
