These are the shoes I put on when I first come home. They're as comfortable as slippers, but are perfectly wearable outside the house. What could be better?

A little snug but great looking and I think with a little wear they will be perfect. Nice and warm. Look great for around the house, out on errands and on casual outings. Not as much stitching around the mouth of the shoe as previous year's design, but definitely would buy again.

Love this shoe! I have a very difficult time finding shoes that don't hurt my feet (plantar fasciitis, bunions, degenerative bone disorder) and this one was a winner right out of the box - no breaking in necessary! I wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5, and they fit wonderfully. This is my first pair of Merrell's and I will definitely be trying them again in the future, and I will only order from Zappos. I have tried other online shoe sources, and no one can compare to the awesome service that Zappos provides! Thank you Zappos! Got this pair in less than 24 hours!

I love these shoes! I got them for my trip to colder weather and they were perfect! I will be buying another pair in another color!

This might be the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned! The first day I got them I went on a spontaneous hike with my friend. I had these shoes on with no socks and they were more comfortable than any hiking shoe/boot I've ever worn. I won't be hiking in them anymore because they are too nice, but I will be wearing them almost every day this winter.

I have a narrow foot and these shoes work well, and I can put my supports in them no problem.

Comfy. Pure heaven. If you wear without socks, and who wouldn't with this plush lushness, buy a full size down.

This shoe is very comfortable and easy to slip on. Although in my personal opinion it looks better on the pictures. In real life it is very bulky. But for me it serves exactly the purpose: I wear it to quickly bring the kids to the bus in winter time or for grocery shopping. If it looked a little more stylish I would probably not wear any other shoe in winter time. But that's personal opinion.

These are wonderful and feel like slippers. I have them in the two tone tan and love them. The black ones are just too much black for me.

Classic mountain girl shoe. Just can't bring myself to wear it. Too clunky and heavy with my big feet. Also all this clunk and my orthotics do not fit in the shoe. The fur it icky on bare feet.

I love Zappos and normally love Merrell. After wearing half dozen or so times, there is a ridge in the mid-range that has set off an arch problem, making this pair uncomfortable to wear.

I have other Merrill shoes so did not think these would fit differently but perhaps the fuzzies are not accounted for in the sizing or the height of the material over the arch. I have a slightly higher arch than most people, but not a really terrible one -- this shoe feels a bit snug across the top of my arch. I think that may be causing the shoe to feel too narrow overall. I can wiggle my toes but they still have the sensation of being mashed. :( Will wear them in the house for a day to see if they stretch a bit. Also, for my size (9.5) they are much clunkier looking in person than I am used to with Merrill shoes. They really look like I am wearing giant black dutch clogs with a wee furry animal mashed inside.

I have a bunion issue and this show is perfect. It is hard to find shoes that do not irritate my bunions. Since it is quite cushy, it is better without socks I love that suede feel and it is like walking on pillows! It does look a little like a slipper when I wear outside, but it is so comfy that I don't care what others may think. This is hands down my favorite shoe. I love to ease of slipping the shoe on to take my kids to the bus stop or go out to my back garden. No laces! It is perfect for the upcoming east coast winter and will definitely keep my feet warm.

Overall, I love these shoes. The fleece lining keeps the feet and toes toasty. The sizing runs a bit large, and as with most Merrell's I've worn, they are roomy in the toe box. My one complaint is they don't provide adequate arch support for those with very high arches. But an arch pad takes care of that and I'm able to wear them all day long.

This clog is bulky due to the heavy lining. I wear a size 9 normally & would need a size larger for comfort but a larger size would make my foot look huge.

This is my third pair of Merrell Encores in varying colors, and while it is definitely the most stylish, it's also the least comfortable. I was surprised, given my history with the shoe, which I opt for specifically for comfort! It's tighter (and yes, I checked my previous sizes), and although some of that is due to the fluff not having yet packed down from use, it's also obviously the shoe structure that's a bit narrower and shallower. More importantly though, it also feels considerably stiffer and less padded, which is more the source of the "less comfortable" assessment. Don't get me wrong - still like the shoe, and would still buy these again. But, I might be falling slightly out of love with the style and start looking for a different, comfier variety next time around.

I love Merrells. These shoes are very comfortable and very warm. Finally the lining is black, the same color as the shoe. For several years they had a grey lining which always looked horrid sticking up around your ankles. Now, if Merrell would only make the shoes in black leather and not suede it would be more appropriate for the snowy, salted, city streets. This way. Looks bad, as you would expect, after many snowy wearings.

I have dozens of Merrell shoes, and I got them all from Zappos! This last pair of Merrell Ice is as well-made as ever, but the toe box and width is tighter and the shoe is shorter. Since I have bad feet, I need that extra room they've always offered. I'm keeping them, but if the next pair is again too tight I'll send them back or try a larger size. Zappos is great to work with!

They are very comfortable - and will be great this winter - the only issue I have is that the liner comes out easily and is kind of difficult to put back in.

I wore these for 3 months straight and loved them last year. So I pull them out this winter and they went in the trash! I started getting bad foot pains when I wore these. Then I even put super feet in them when I wore out the fuzz on the inside, still no good. I guess I got my money's worth for the one season because these just didn't go the long haul for my feet. Merrell is always a favorite of mine but I can't deal with pain like this again.

I wore these for three months straight during the mild winter here and they held up on the outside but the inside of the shoe has started to break down. Mind you I wore them for 8 hrs daily. Absolutely the most comfy shoes I own but I wish they lasted longer. They saw snow, rain, and typical suburbia for the most part they held up to the abuse. Color was great for many casual fashions. Size was typical of Merrell, get the size you'd normally wear since the toe box is quite generous. I do like these clogs and most likely will get another pair for next season.

Truth be told, I purchased these because they were on sale. I have Sweet Pea and Encore Breeze both from Merrell. I love them because they are very comfortable. The Encore Ice I will be using on cooler days. But they are Merrell and if they fit as well as what I am wearing now I expect they will be wonderful.

This shoe is fun. I get a lot of comps on wearing them. The hot pink color does not hurt! However, not the most padded shoes I've ever had. But I try to wear them when I don't have to do a lot of walking. Darling shoe. Love the Sherpa inside of them.

I have purchased 4 pairs of Encore Ice's over the years because I love them so much. I virtually live in these shoes when I'm at home from about October through March each year. They are incredibly comfortable, keep my sensitive feet cold, and are easy to walk in. I'm a teacher, and do occasionally wear them to work since they are so comfortable to stand in and walk in all day long. They also provide a very sure-footed tread for snowy days and inclement weather in winter. I do find that they run large. I always order 1/2 a size down and might even be able to go a full size down since they do stretch over time. This shoe also wears like iron. When I've replaced them, the treads show virtually no wear, it is simply that the tops stained over time. If you order a dark color, this shoe could last several seasons easily. Although not the most stylish shoe, they are definitely a winner in comfort. You won't be disappointed!
